UAE President, VPs receive Eid Al Adha greetings from leaders of Arab, Islamic states
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received congratulatory messages on the occasion of Eid Al Adha from Kings, Presidents, and Emirs of Arab and Islamic states.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also received similar congratulatory messages on the occasion.
UAE President exchanges Eid Al Adha greetings with regional leaders
President Sheikh Mohamed also exchanged Eid Al-Adha greetings today in phone calls with Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait; King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain; and King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the conversations, the leaders conveyed their best wishes for ongoing health, happiness and prosperity. They prayed that the occasion would bring continued blessings to their peoples, and that their countries would enjoy lasting peace, stability and progress.
They also expressed their hopes for stability and prosperity for Muslim nations and the wider international community.

The eastern region of DRC has been subject to heavy fighting for decaded, but fighting in the region escalated in January when the Rwanda-backed M23 rebel group captured Goma, the mineral-rich area's largest city. A few weeks later, the group seized the strategic town of Bukavu. Rwanda denies supporting the rebels. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced since the conflict escalated this year, while thousands have been killed.

Arab Parliament President praises UAE's humanitarian efforts
A high-level delegation from the Arab Parliament visited the UAE Floating Hospital in Egypt's Al Arish, where they reviewed the hospital's facilities created to treat sick or injured patients from Gaza. Headed by the President of the Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi, the members also met with several Palestinian patients receiving treatment at the hospital and listened to their experiences regarding the level of healthcare and humanitarian support offered by the Emirati medical teams. The delegation was also briefed on the progress of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,' in Al Arish, which is part of the UAE's efforts to support Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The delegation learned about the operation's management mechanism and the types of assistance being provided, which include food and health packages, kits for children and women, clothing packages for children, and other various relief aid. Delegation members participated in the packing of some of these aid packages. Al Yammahi praised the significant efforts made by the UAE in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering, saying that these humanitarian initiatives reflect genuine Arab values and a shared sense of Arab solidarity. Since its launch, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has provided over 70,000 tonnes of relief, medical, and food aid, demonstrating its deep commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people.
