Olivia Rodrigo & Ed Sheeran Perform ‘The A Team' in Surprise London Duet

Olivia Rodrigo welcomed Ed Sheeran to her stage for a surprise duet of 'The A Team' in London on Friday night (June 27). Together the two pop hitmakers, guitars in hand, strummed and sang Sheeran's debut single for the U.K. crowd at Hyde Park's BST (British Summer Time) concert series, where Rodrigo was performing ahead of a headlining slot at Glastonbury later this weekend. Post-show, Sheeran shared footage of the moment on Instagram. The performance video shows the two musicians harmonizing on the chorus of 'The A Team.' 'Both albums are no skips for me, I'm a proper fan. We first met at the rock and roll hall of fame back in 2022, sat next to each other with her mum and my dad and went on to hang and keep in touch from there.' Of his Friday night plans, Sheeran said, 'Was gonna go watch the show anyway but she hit me and asked to sing The A Team with her, which was such a buzz. That song turns 15 this year, and I remember playing it to rooms with no one in it in 2010, so to still be playing it to new fans with one of the brightest stars of the next generation is an honour and a privilege. Rock Glasto headline Sunday @oliviarodrigo , UK loves you x.' 'you are the best ever ed!!! appreciate you so much. last night was a blast,' Rodrigo commented on the post Saturday morning. Also spotted at Rodrigo's Friday gig was a smiling Sabrina Carpenter who enjoyed the show from the balcony, as seen in photos published by the Daily Mail. 'The A Team,' first released in 2011, was Sheeran's first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 16 in 2012. Following Rodrigo's concert, on Saturday Sheeran posted another treat for fans on TikTok: a short mashup of his 'Perfect' with Rodrigo's 'Happier,' sung together. Sheeran previously praised Rodrigo's 2021 breakthrough hit, 'Drivers License,' as a flawless debut single, and noted both her debut and sophomore full-length albums, Sour and Guts, are 'unskippable… it's just, as a record, just a great record.' Parents Share The Most Embarrassing Things Their Kids Have Said

Recently, Reddit user FarmhouseRules posted to the popular ask subreddit to ask people, "What's the most embarrassing thing your kids have ever said or done?" She shared her own story first, writing, "Once I was shopping at the grocery with my 5-year-old son in the cart. As we were going down the aisle we passed a woman going the other way. Right after we passed her, my son said, 'Mom that's the ugliest man I've ever seen.' I was mortified." Other people shared some pretty legendarily embarrassing stories, too, and I was honestly cackling. Here are some of the absolute best: "I was at checkout in K-Mart with my then 5-year-old daughter. I was buying her purple marshmallow Peeps. She told the cashier that purple was her favorite color. I said she had a new favorite color every week. This embarrassed my daughter, who said loudly, 'Mom, you have a new favorite boyfriend every week!'" "'MY MOM LOVES COCK PORN.' (He meant popcorn.)" "My wife, my son, and I were at Disneyland. My son was 3 at this point. He had finished potty training just a few weeks prior to this. During potty training, we would use positive reinforcement, elling him that he was doing a good job, etc. etc. One of the things I told him was that he was pooping Iike a man now." "My 2-year-old son and I were in line at Kohl's and the woman behind me had vitiligo (a condition that causes the pigment in your skin to discolor, completely resulting in very blotchy skin). My son looked at her and gasped and said, 'Oh wow, I LOVE your polka dots!'" "We were at the zoo when my son was probably 5 or 6. He had run ahead to look at the zebras. He turned around and screamed, 'Mom, you won't believe how big this zebra's dick is!' I deeply considered walking past him with no acknowledgment." "Took my 3-year-old in to work with me on a Saturday when the office was closed. My coworker was there. I introduced him to my daughter. She recognized his name from me always complaining about him, looked him in the eye, and asked him, 'Are you the one who doesn't know what he is doing?'" "We were on a trail in the Smoky Mountains and a park ranger with an eye patch was talking to us about bears. Right when we finished the conversation and started walking away, my son said, 'Mommy, we just talked to a pirate!'" "Not my kid, but it was said to me. I was riding the elevator up to the OB/GYN floor with a very pregnant woman and her about 3-year-old son. He looked at my belly and excitedly asked if I was going to have a baby, too. His mother was 14 shades of red with nowhere to hide! I told him no, I was just fat. He gave me a sad face and said, 'Well, next year.'" "When my oldest was about a year and a half old in the grocery store, he pointed to a baby and said 'ugly baby' clear as day and very loud." "My son told my daughter that her penis fell off and that's why he was a boy and she was a girl. She was upset for weeks." "When my son was little, we took him to mass with us. When the priest was consecrating the communion wafer, my son loudly and clearly said, 'Hey, I want one of those potato chips!'" "My son, bless his heart, waited until everyone had bowed their heads to pray but before the priest started the prayer, and in that moment of blessed silence, piped up 'I gotta poop!' as loud as he could." "I was waiting in the crowd for my number to be called at the deli counter with my 5-year-old. It was National Dairy Month, and the grocery store had a huge inflatable cow suspended from the ceiling above us. My daughter looked up and announced at the top of her lungs, 'Look, Mom, that cow has four penises!' The crowd roared." "My daughter announced to her whole class that girls get brains and boys get a penis. That was a whole parent/teacher conference." "I was the mortifying kid: in the middle of a Catholic mass, during one of the silent parts, I looked up at a man next to us. I looked back at my mom and loudly said, 'Mom, why does his forehead go back so far?'" "We were at my grandfather's funeral with my then 3-year-old son. We had told him that great-grandpa was really old and that's why he died. We met my grandparents' neighbor, who I knew growing up, and she is about 90. When she walked away, my son said, 'She's really nice. It's too bad she'll be dead soon.'" "When my son was 3, we lived in a pretty rough neighborhood. His favorite thing was just riding his tricycle up and down the sidewalk, completely safe. One day I heard him greeting people in the manner that people greeted him when they walked by. He said, 'Hey, motherfucker!'" "Around Thanksgiving, we walked past a very old woman and the 5-year-old stopped to ask her about conditions on the Mayflower." "This is about me at 5 years old in 1975. My mom used to tell this story. My dad at that time liked to listen to Deanna Durbin records on the living room stereo. Her picture was on the fronts of the albums, and he liked to tell me he was listening to his 'girlfriend' singing." "My kid was 5-ish and had started calling hot dogs weiners. At the grocery store, she said, very loudly, 'Mommy likes wieners!'" "Our oldest was about 3, my wife was pregnant with our second, and we were at dinner with friends who had a toddler in a high chair. Said toddler had food everywhere!" "About 20 years ago when our son was 2, we were having a small dinner party with friends at our home, and he went into our bedroom closet and found one of my wife's (adult) toys. He came running into the living room and started banging it against the coffee table." "My kid, at 4, could burp like a truck driver. Sitting in a restaurant, she let out this massive burp, dove under the table to hide, and 25 strangers turned around to stare at me with mild disgust." And finally, "My lovely 3-year-old likes to yell 'HELP ME!!!' at the top of her lungs when she doesn't get her way, and she tends to not get her way and yell that in grocery stores and other public places." Okay, IDK about you, but I'm laughing my ass off at some of these. Tell me what you think in the comments below; or, even better, divulge your own embarrassing kid stories! They're so funny, I love to hear them. If you want to share but want to stay anonymous, you can always write into this anonymous form! You should never see 'Escalator temporarily out of order,' just 'Escalator temporarily stairs.'' —Mitch Hedberg 'I hate when women compare men to dogs. Men are not dogs. Dogs are loyal. I've never found any strange panties in my dog's house.' —Wanda Sykes 'I was going to sail around the globe in the world's smallest ship, but I bottled it.' —Mark Simmons "I don't think we're as amazing as our parents are… I'm not going to have any struggles to tell my kids about. Let me see how invincible I really am!'' —Ali Wong 'My girlfriend makes me want to be a better person — so I can get a better girlfriend.' —Anthony Jeselnik "I hate needy and arrogant. They go, 'Oh, we're getting married. Do you wanna come and watch us for 12 hours?' 'No. Fuck, no.' Even the invite is arrogant, isn't it? It's like a royal decree. 'You are cordially invited…' It's not a fucking honor. I don't wanna go to your shitty wedding. Know what I mean? And then you go, 'Oh, right, yeah. When is it?' They go, 'Two years' time.' They know you haven't got an excuse for two years' time." —Ricky Gervais 'My sister was with two men in one night…she could hardly walk after that. Can you imagine? Two dinners? That's a lot of food.' —Sarah Silverman 'I used to think the brain was the most fascinating part of the body. Then I realized, well…look what's telling me that.' —Emo Philips "If it's a penny for your thoughts and you put in your two cents worth, then someone, somewhere is making a penny." Because every new song is about how tonight is the night and we only have tonight. That is such 19-year-old horseshit. I want to write songs for people in their 30s called 'Tonight's no good. How about Wednesday? Oh, you're in Dallas Wednesday? Let's not see each other for eight months and it doesn't matter at all.'" —John Mulaney 'I travel a lot. TSA looks at my name, and suddenly I'm the most interesting man in the world. 'Mr. Mohammed…please step this way.'' —Mo Amer Said to her boyfriend: 'Do you know how easy it would be for me to cheat on you? Do you know how many holes I have in me? And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid.' —George Carlin 'You know, some people say life is short and that you could get hit by a bus at any moment and that you have to live each day like it's your last. Bullshit. Life is long. You're probably not gonna get hit by a bus, and you're gonna have to live with the choices you make for the next 50 years.' —Chris Rock 'The first birthday party you have and the last birthday party you have are actually quite similar. You just kind of sit there. You're the least excited person at the party. You didn't even really realize that there is a party. Both birthday parties' people have to help you blow out the candles. It's also the only two birthday parties where other people have to gather your friends together for you.' —Jerry Seinfeld 'I want a woman…with original factory settings.' —Gabriel Iglesias On accidentally setting himself on fire: 'Fire is inspirational. They should use it in the Olympics, 'cause I did the 100-yard dash in 4.3. You know something I found out? When you're on fire and running down the street, people will get out of your way. Except for one old drunk, he's going, 'Can I get a light? How about it? Just a little off the sleeve. Okay?'' —Richard Pryor 'I was diagnosed as an ugly child at the age of 11 by a caricature artist at a Six Flags, and I didn't know until then. I really didn't, and then he turned that canvas around and my dad was like, 'Oh my God, it's uncanny.' My whole family's like, 'Whoa, Nik, it's you!' 'I'm like, 'Really? Okay, I didn't know I had buck teeth and bushy eyebrows, a Founding Father haircut and a tiny bicycle.' But then I knew.' —Nikki Glaser 'Why do they call it rush hour when nothing moves?' —Robin Williams "It's amazing how email has changed our lives. You ever get a handwritten letter in the mail today? I'll explain. When you're a white man and you put on a tux, you go from average Joe to James Bond, secret agent. You look cool. When you're a Black man, you go from average Joe to Barack Obama. Presidential. When you're a Latino male, you go from average Jose to waiter." —Erik Rivera "The first time I see a jogger smiling, I'll consider it." —Joan Rivers 'If you smell burning toast, you're either having a stroke…or just overcooking your toast.' —Bo Burnham 'Throwing acid is some people's eyes.' —Jimmy Carr 'I never believed in Santa Claus because I knew no white dude would come into my neighborhood after dark.' —Dick Gregory 'If you could go anywhere in the world… I said, 'Anywhere?' Then I realized you can buy trophies. Now I'm good at everything.' —Demetri Martin 'I have enough money to last me the rest of my life…unless I buy something.' —Milton Berle 'I'm in therapy, which is weird because I'm Midwestern. I should be burying this pain in my backyard with a pie.' —Jackie Kashian 'I just joined a gym. I don't work out there, I just joined it. It's nice to have something to cancel.' —Todd Barry 'I get into arguments with taxi drivers all the time. I get out of the cab and slam the door, but that's not the way to win an argument with a taxi driver. The way to win is you get out of the cab and leave the door open. Then he has to get out, come around and close the door. While he's doing that, I'm on the other side, opening the other doors. And we just keep going around and around and around. And I got my own Benny Hill situation going on, and I won.' —Hannibal Buress On birthdays during his childhood: 'When I was 10 there wasn't trampolines and cartoon characters, I never went to Chuck E. Luckily, it was me.' —Dave Attell 'Alcohol: Because no great story ever started with someone eating a salad.' —Dylan Moran "If you go to a Black history museum and you got a Black tour guide, you need to go in the morning while he's still in a good mood... You gotta catch him at 9:00 a.m. He just finished that McGriddle. 'How y'all doing? My name is Charles, it's my pleasure to take you on this journey. Look at these exhibits right here. Black history is American history. Come look at the exhibits.' You think that brother gonna be in a good mood at 4:30? He been staring at slavery all day. That dude liable to cuss out everybody. 'Look at this shit! Come look what you done to us! Look what you — get your ass out my museum, motherfucker!' You go to the gift shop, it's just people crying." —Roy Wood Jr. "I'm a procrastinator, man. It's really bad. It's a problem, you know? I'm worried eventually my bucket list is just gonna be a bunch of errands I haven't run yet. How sad would that be if my doctor was like, 'You got a few months left to live,' and I'm like, 'Dang, I got to hurry up and frame these photos.'" —Sheng Wang 'A lot of Americans are suffering from depression younger and younger — our children are seeing the sippy cup as half-empty." —Maria Bamford "Asian parents are the last group of people you can ever convince to see a doctor... Nothing can make my mom see a doctor. My mom could have an arrow going right through her pants and she's trying to pull it out like Rambo, right? And you're like, 'Yo, Mom, let's go see a doctor.' And my mom will be like, 'No. They just want to take people's money.'' —Ronny Chieng "I'm not a big supporter of small businesses. I'm more of a big business kind of guy. I like businesses so big there's another business inside of them, like a Target with a Starbucks in it. But the real reason I don't support small businesses is because I have irritable bowel syndrome…you have to use their bathroom, but these stone-cold killers will look you in the eyes and say no to you even after you say, 'What if I buy one of your stupid candles?'' —Chris Estrada On relationships with immigrant fathers: 'You'd be like, 'Dad, what's your favorite color?' 'Stanford!' 'What? I want to know more about you.' 'Why do you want to know about me? Get into Stanford!'" —Hasan Minhaj 'If you can see the handwriting on the wall…you're on the toilet.' —Redd Foxx
