didn't let the team's Super Bowl hopes slipping away define his year.
Instead, the 29-year-old quarterback collected the AP's Most Valuable Player Award and, shortly after, signed a six-year, $330 million deal with a record-breaking $250 million guaranteed.
But when asked about these milestones during a June 10 media appearance, Allen made it clear nothing mattered more than the commitment he made to Hailee Steinfeld in California, saying:
'I mean they've all been big none other than marrying my best friend.

shared her own behind-the-scenes wedding photos this week, simply captioning them 'HUSBAND!' In her Beau Society newsletter, she opened up about reliving their special day, writing:
'Over the past two weeks, random yet very specific memories have been popping back into our heads, and we've been blurting them out to each other, often through smiles, laughs, and tears.'
Meanwhile, the good news didn't stop with the honeymoon.
On Monday, June 30, the 2025 Astra Midseason Movie Awards announced Steinfeld as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Sinners, a film that also became the highest-grossing original horror movie in domestic box office history.

Elon Musk was ‘inspiration' behind some of these Squid Game characters; Netflix show's creator confirms

"Squid Game" creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed that some of the Netflix show's characters, particularly its villains, 'kind of resemble' Tesla CEO Elon Musk . Hwang stated that this resemblance occurred to him during the writing process. In a recent interview with Time magazine, Hwang discussed the masked VIPs in his popular Netflix series . The show depicts financially struggling individuals competing for a large cash prize and their survival, while a group of billionaires, known as VIPs, who observe the games from comfort and place bets on the outcomes. What Squid Game creator said about Elon Musk and VIPs In an interview with Time magazine, Dong-hyuk said: 'Elon Musk is everywhere these days, right? Everybody talks about him. Not only is he the head of a huge tech company that controls the world almost, but he's also this showman. After writing [Season 3], of course, I thought, 'Oh, some of the VIPs do kind of resemble Elon Musk.' These VIPs were introduced on Squid Game Season 1, Episode 7, which was also titled 'V.I.P.S,' as a group of wealthy, English-speaking men who watch the final rounds of the Game in person. They are portrayed as careless and arrogant, placing bets on the lives of players for amusement. Pampered by the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) and the Game's staff, they treat the deadly contest like a spectator sport. The group is led by Oh Il-nam, a rich moneylender who secretly founded the Game. In a surprising twist, Oh Il-nam joins the competition himself as Player 001, concealing his identity while facing a terminal illness. Later, he confesses to Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) that he created the Game as a way to cope with boredom in his final days. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ballysakeery: We Need People to Try Latest High-Tech Hearing Aids - Free Learn More Undo In the third and final season, the VIPs become more directly involved by disguising themselves as guards and carrying out the task of shooting the 'eliminated' participants, rather than merely observing the games. 'They take their masks off and go into the game and kill others with their own hands,' Dong-hyuk said, describing that it has a more symbolic meaning than simply being a technical detail. 'In the past, those who really controlled the system and maintained power, they were hidden behind the curtain, almost like this big unseen conspiracy. However, it's no longer the case, especially in America,' he added. 'We talk a lot about oligarchy these days, but these so-called big tech owners, they step up, telling everyone who they're backing with their money. The people who really control the power and the system, they no longer hide behind a curtain. They willingly take their masks off, almost as if to declare, 'We're the ones running everything. We're the ones in control.'' Dong-hyuk continued. OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3: Why This Neckband Still ROCKS in a TWS World! AI Masterclass for Students. Upskill Young Ones Today!– Join Now

TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been entertaining fans for over five years now. However, due to the low TRP, the show is reportedly set to go off-air. Lead stars of the show, Bhavika Sharma and Param Singh, have now shared a glimpse of the last day of shoot as the show wraps up. Videos and pictures from the final moments from the sets of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have been circulating on social media. Bhavika Sharma and Param Singh made it to their Instagram handle and shared pictures from their last shoot day. Bhavika, who won many hearts as 'Savi' in the show, also mentioned how she will be missing the show a lot. Bhavika posted a mirror selfie with the caption, 'Definitely going to miss Savi,' and also shared a clip in her police avatar, writing, 'Last day.' From Savi Sai Joshi to Savi Neil Pradhan, she carried this show with her performance.' A user on X wrote, '#ghumhaikisikeypyaarmeiin is finally ending now, so lemme drop some truth from my side. They would've still got good TRP if they would've continued with IshVi without ruining Ishaan, as they got decent chem. Also, Neil should've been her 2nd chance and YHM remake shouldn't have taken place.' TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin first premiered in 2020 with Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, and Ayesha Singh as the original leads. Following a leap, Bhavika Sharma, Shakti Arora, and Hitesh Bharadwaj joined as the new faces.

Nathan Lyon (Photo by) Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon, aged 37, has expressed his desire to continue playing Test cricket, particularly aiming for an away series victory in India before retirement, while also announcing he has handed over his role as team song-master to Alex Carey following Australia's recent win against West Indies. Lyon, Australia's most successful off-spinner with 556 wickets in 138 Tests, has claimed 130 wickets against India in 32 Tests but is yet to be part of a winning Australian team in India since their 2004-05 triumph. "We've got that opportunity in a couple of years' time, but we've also got to take it Test by Test and make sure that we're doing everything here in West Indies right. Then we've got a massive summer at home with the Ashes. But another World Test Championship final would be on my cards for sure." "Nathan Lyon is very modest to the public. But within closed doors, there's nothing modest about him!" 😆 More on The G.O.A.T ⬇️ — ICC (@ICC) July 11, 2019 Lyon has stepped down from his role as the team's song-master, passing the responsibility to wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey, who led the celebrations after their 159-run victory over West Indies in the first Test. "I've been very honoured to firstly, lead the song, but to have it for 12 years, it's been one of the biggest highlights of my career," Lyon stated. "It definitely doesn't mean I'm retiring anytime soon. It's more about the team environment, making sure that I get the opportunity to pass it on to someone who I look at and absolutely love in the way he goes about it on and off the field and I just feel like Alex is the perfect candidate. " Jasprit Bumrah: India's Game-Changer in Tests "I ran my race with it, and it's time for someone else to put their touch on it. I've loved having the privilege to lead the team song but now I can sit back and hopefully enjoy a few wins and just relax and take it all in," Lyon added. Australia are set to face West Indies in the second Test beginning Wednesday at St George's, Grenada. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.
