‘Thirst-Quenchers' Summer Awareness Campaign set
The initiative is in alignment with the Ministry of Labour's efforts to promote safe and healthy working conditions during the peak summer months starting mid-June.
The primary objective of the campaign is to raise awareness about heat-related health risks and ensure hydration among outdoor workers who are most vulnerable to Bahrain's extreme summer temperatures. Volunteers will distribute bottled water, laban, juice, and fresh fruits directly to workers at various worksites across the Kingdom.
Marking a decade of impactful outreach, the Thirst-Quenchers campaign has consistently conducted weekly visits to different worksites over a 12-week period each summer.
This year's program continues with strong backing from key authorities, including the Ministries of Labour and Interior.
