Sam Pang set to return for the third time to host The Logie Awards 2025
This will be the third time in three years that the 51-year-old comedian has taken on the anchor role for TV's Night of Nights.
Sam's cheeky and irreverent comedy as host last year and in 2023 proved to be a big hit with audiences and TV's A-list as well as a major ratings winner for Seven.
'It's been an honour to host the last two years and I'm looking forward to again celebrating the talented people and amazing shows that combine to make the Australian television industry something everyone can be proud of,' Sam told The Herald Sun on Sunday.
'I am very excited to return for another Logies and would like to thank 7 for asking me back.'

This year's lucky Logie nominees will be announced on June 16.
Sam is expected to unleash another take-no-prisoners monologue as host when the Logies ceremony kicks off at the Star Sydney on August 3.
The beloved comedian left viewers in stitches with a cutting series of one liners when he took to the stage last year.
He was widely praised for his presenting - and roasting of celebrities - for the 2023 event and he certainly did not fail to disappoint as viewers applauded his 'fearless' monologue which saw him boldly take aim at Channel Seven.
Sam didn't hold back as he savagely roasted Seven for their spate of recent scandals, such as the Bruce Lehrmann-Spotlight scandal, despite the fact the Logies were airing on the network.
He also hit out at Network 10 and Married At First Sight in his take-no-prisoners monologue, before making jokes at the expense of Adam Lambert and LeAnn Rimes.
Sam opened his monologue by savagely taking aim at Seven, referencing their recent scandals as the crowds reacted with shocked gasps.
'Firstly, Channel 7, well, I'm just letting you all know I'm going to say whatever I want tonight,' he said as he kicked things off.
'I stand before you safe in the knowledge that whatever I say, this network will defend me in court, and with their impeccable record in defamation cases over the last 12 months I reckon I'll be fine.'
Amid a string of jobs being cut at Seven, Sam then joked that he wasn't getting paid by the network for his hosting gig and said they would instead be paying his rent.
'Full disclosure - I'm not getting paid by Channel Seven tonight. Instead, for the next 12 months, they're paying my rent,' he quipped. Which is handy as they'll know what address to send the Thai masseuse to.'
Sam then left the crowds in stitches with his MAFS joke as he quipped: 'Reality shows continue to thrive. One of the biggest shows sees contestants thrown together, isolated and willingly eating testicles and sometimes anus. That's right, Married At First Sight continues to go from strength to strength.'
Sam's return comes after his first Logies as host scored an impressive 877,000 viewers in the TV ratings.
The 2024 Logies broadcast, meanwhile, was another massive hit for Seven
According to Sunday night's OzTam ratings, the awards show was the most popular program on free-to-air with a huge national reach of 3,351,000, with a national audience of 1,338,00.

Dramatic detail revealed in Adrian Portelli's move to Channel Seven amid feud with The Block's Scott Cam
A glaring detail has emerged following Adrian Portelli announced his new Channel Seven renovation show. The former 'Block Billionaire', 36, revealed this week he would be co-starring in a new reality show for the network – My Reno Rules. Not only will the show be Portelli's first foray into the world of television hosting, it will also see him at the same network as former Channel Nine journalist Alex Cullen. The Today show reporter was sacked by Nine after he accepted a $50,000 gift from The Block billionaire Adrian Portelli for calling him 'McLaren Man' live on air. Now the pair will be reunited, with Cullen revealing this week that he will be making a return to the small screen on 7News. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'After everything went down [at Nine this year], Seven were one of the first on the phone to say: 'You have our support, and if you want to come back, we're a phone call away",' he told Confidential. 'I can't tell you how much that meant to me and my family,' he told the publication. 'It's not very nice being the story,' he said, adding: 'It's better telling the story.' Further, The Australian reported this week that Cullen was touted to appear on Portelli's upcoming reality show. Network sources confirmed to the publication that Seven was looking at casting the reporter on the series, although nothing has been 'locked in'. In another surprising twist, reported on Friday that Portelli's controversial rewards club company LMCT+ will be the major sponsor for the reality show. It was also reported that Portelli has donated the two homes that will feature in the debut series. It comes after Portelli and Cullen's social media exchange made national headlines and ultimately led to Cullen's departure from Nine. After putting the reward call out on social media, The Block entrepreneur then posted what appeared to be a bank transfer of $50,000 to the presenter on Instagram. The ill-advised stunt led to Cullen being suspended by Nine, and he did not appear on the show while the network investigated the payment. Nine's parting of ways with Cullen went ahead despite Portelli's claim that the money was always meant for charity. Portelli, who has spent millions of dollars snapping up houses over the last three seasons, shared a post to social media on Thursday revealing he was leaving the Channel Nine series for good. 'Bet my high school teachers never thought… I'D HAVE MY OWN TV SHOW ON Channel Seven,' he wrote alongside a promotional photo of him and Dr Chris Brown. 'The Reno games looking a little dusty. Time for a fresh coat. The gloves are off. My Reno Rules - Coming to Seven.' Seven recently announced the brand-new home renovation series, My Reno Rules, produced by MasterChef Australia creators Endemol Shine. The show will feature four teams of renovators competing on two neighbouring rundown houses in Melbourne. The teams are competing for a huge prize, with a live grand finale awarding two fully renovated and furnished properties. It comes after The Block's Scott Cam sent a warning to billionaire businessman Adrian Portelli ahead of the Nine reality juggernaut's 2026 season premiere. Cam begged Portelli not to attend this year's auction to give others a chance to own a home. 'To be honest we said to Adrian "we'd love you not to come next year, if that's all right." But you know it's up to him it's a public auction and he can do whatever he wants,' he revealed on Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie. 'He said he won't come but he may. We don't know, but we do want to give mums and dads the opportunity to have a crack at a block house. 'If Adrian comes and wants to buy the lot of them, well, that rules them out,' Scott said. 'Hopefully we get, a few buyer advocates that come and are representing families. So hopefully they turn up and have a bit of a crack this year.' During the 2024 finale of The Block, Portelli made history by purchasing all five of the properties for a huge $15million. He ensured Maddy and Charlotte Harry became the youngest-ever winners when he bought their home for $3.5million. Portelli's company, LMCT+, has frequently raffled off properties from The Block, including last year's $5million purchase of Steph and Gian's winning home.

A huge new nightclub and live music venue is opening in suburban Sydney next month
When the latest stretch of Sydney Metro opened back in August, Bella Vista – the leafy suburb in Sydney's Hills Shire – became a whole lot more accessible, with a direct metro line zipping straight there from Martin Place in just under 45 minutes. Now, there's a new reason to catch the metro out to the Hills, with Bella Vista set to welcome a huge new entertainment venue ready to host everything from techno-soundtracked club nights to major sporting events. Intrigued? Us too. With the telling name 'Bella Live', the multifunction new venue is dedicated to hosting live events, with the aim of becoming 'the beating heart of entertainment in the Hills.' Occupying a massive 1,029m² former warehouse, it's been engineered to host major touring acts – with three main rooms kitted out with custom audio systems, LED stage lighting, projection-style immersive lighting, and an AV system integrated throughout. Sydney-based architecture firm Archebiosis Architects was tasked with the design – bringing to life a warehouse-style space that combines an edgy, industrial aesthetic with sleek, modern design features. The result is a vast, super-club-style space complete with a 17.5-metre bar and a huge 10 x 8-metre stage flanked by VIP booths. Wondering what's coming up? At this stage, the program (which will kick off with a huge opening night on Saturday, August 9) features weekly Friday club nights, an Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, September 28, and a special show from Aussie icon Daryl Braithwaite on Sunday, November 16. So far on the DJ front, Bella Live has locked in high-octane sets from SEKTA & Wongo (August 16), Set Mo (August 23), JaySounds (August 30), and Bag Raiders (September 6) – to name a few. With high-spec staging, audio and lighting, plus luxe green rooms and private ensuites for performers, the venue is aiming to position itself as a go-to for international artists. For sports fans, Bella Live will show UFC, F1, and Premier League action on giant screens, with plans for celebrity lunches, athlete meet-and-greets, and game-day brand activations in the works. Other events set to be hosted at the big new space include open mic nights, improv shows, author talks, weekend markets, and silent discos – it's absolutely not a one-trick pony. These are the best dancefloors in Sydney.
