All basic amenities will be provided at mega housing project at Tangudubilli in Visakhapatnam district, says Bheemunipatnam MLA
The MLA conducted a field-level inspection of the project site on Tuesday. Speaking to the media later, he criticised the previous YSRCP government, alleging that the housing policy was designed to benefit party leaders under the guise of the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS). He said the former government had failed to ensure basic infrastructure in the area. 'Houses were allotted to beneficiaries living in Visakhapatnam city, nearly 30 km away, while ignoring eligible applicants from the village itself,' he pointed out.
Reaffirming the coalition government's commitment, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that 3 cents of land in rural areas and 2 cents in urban areas would be allocated to eligible beneficiaries. He also highlighted the plight of those who had availed loans for TIDCO houses and are now struggling to repay them. The MLA interacted with three beneficiaries over the phone to gather feedback on the quality of the housing units and the challenges faced. He later spoke to District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad and urged immediate steps to provide essential amenities such as power, drinking water, internal roads, and drainage systems.
Expressing displeasure over the absence of the contractor during his visit, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said he had received multiple complaints regarding the quality of construction. He directed officials to intensify monitoring and ensure quality standards are upheld. Housing PD Sattibabu, Executive Engineer Suri Babu, and MRO S. Suri Babu were present during the visit.
Later, under the 'Suparipalana lo Tholi Adugu' programme, the MLA conducted a door-to-door campaign in Tangudubilli village and interacted with residents. He assured them that despite financial challenges, the State government was committed to fulfilling all election promises.
TDP leaders Ghattamneni Subashchandra Bose, Tatraju Appa Rao, B.R.B. Naidu, Gandreddi Swamy Naidu, Yerra Raju, Balireddy Mallikarjuna Rao, Srikanth Raju, and S. Siva also took part in the campaign.

Budameru disaster due to failure of NDA
Vijayawada: Former MLA and Vijayawada Central Constituency Coordinator Malladi Vishnu alleged Budameru flood disaster in September 2024 was a major failure of the current NDA administration. He said no leader held even a single review meeting before the floods struck and devastated the Vijayawada city and lakhs of people suffered. Vishnu responded to the comments made by P Narayana, the minister for municipal administration and urban development. Vishnu said the YSRCP launched a massive campaign against the NDA rule and its failure to deliver Super Six promises made to the people. Malladi Vishnu stated that the campaign has already been taken across three clusters in the Central Constituency and will now extend to all divisions. 'Chandrababu Naidu misled the public with fraudulent promises before the elections and came to power. Now, their leaders have no courage to face the people or explain what they've accomplished,' he said. He said that not a single one of the 'Super Six' schemes promised by Naidu before the elections has been implemented. He said the NDA government has borrowed over Rs 2 lakh crore loans in just one year, yet it's only notable act has been raising pensions to Rs.4,000, Vishnu claimed. He criticised the government for increasing public debt by 15.61 percent in one year, calling it 'unsustainable and irresponsible.'

Party workers' role key in delivering schemes: Gottipati
Addanki: Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar announced that the coalition government, under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, aims to ensure that welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries and effectively communicate its initiatives to all citizens across the state. The minister, along with the Bapatla MP Tenneti Krishna Prasad unveiled a statue of NT Rama Rao and NTR Kalakshetram, and participated in 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu-Intintiki Telugu Desam' programme, at Chandaluru village in J Panguluru mandal, on Sunday. During the village-level campaign, Minister Gottipati visited households to assess the implementation of coalition government welfare programmes and gathered feedback from beneficiaries. Additionally, he distributed three-wheeler scooters to ten differently-abled individuals. Speaking on the occasion, Gottipati praised NTR as the pioneer of welfare schemes for the poor, noting that programmes like two-rupee rice and women's property rights are still implemented by numerous states nationwide. The minister announced infrastructure funding, including Rs 30 lakh for road construction in Chandaluru village, Rs 2 crore for the Chandaluru-Gangavaram BT road, and Rs 35 lakh for constructing a dining hall at the district council high school. Gottipati explained that the primary objective of the 'Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu- Intintiki Telugu Desam' initiative is to monitor how welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries during the coalition government's 15-month tenure. He emphasised that programmes such as pensions, Talliki Vandanam, and the Deepam gas scheme distribution should be verified by relevant department officials and secretariat staff. He emphasised the crucial role of party workers in implementing government schemes.

Singapore: "Youare all aware of the extent to which Andhra Pradesh was devastated during the five-year YSRCP rule, and you can see how hard the coalition government is working for reconstruction. The global trust in Chandrababu is our capital," stated Minister for Education, IT and Electronics Nara Lokesh. Lokesh called upon the Telugu diaspora to promote opportunities within the state and attract investments. Minister Lokesh was the chief guest at the Telugu Diaspora meeting organised by APNRT at the OVUS Auditorium in Singapore. Addressing the gathering, Lokesh declared: "NRIs are our brand ambassadors; all NRIs must become partners in the state's development." He emphasized the crucial role of foreign investments in India's economy, noting that Singapore contributes a significant portion of these investments. "Of the total $81.04 billion in Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) India received in the 2024-25 fiscal year, approximately $14.94 billion came from Singapore, accounting for 19 percent of total FDI," he highlighted. "If a large share of these investments comes to AP, our state will become another Singapore," he added. Lokesh assured the Telugu community in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jakarta and Bali that the government is there to support them in any hardship. "Through APNRT, we are not only resolving your issues but also working to protect our Telugu language, culture, and traditions," he said. He lauded the enthusiasm of the Telugu community in Singapore. "From landing at the airport to this diaspora meeting, wherever I look, I see Telugu people. I wondered if I was in Singapore or Simhachalam," he quipped. He playfully redefined the term NRI. "Everyone calls you NRIs, or Non-Resident Indians. But in my heart, you are always MRIs – Most Reliable Indians." Lokesh asserted that the TDP was founded for the self-respect of Telugus, which was upheld by the legendary actor and Sarvabhouma, late Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. He stated that with the Quantum Valley, the world will look towards AP. "Giants like TCS, Cognizant, ANSR, Satva, Sify, and Google are coming to AP. Prestigious educational institutions like SRM, VIT, and Amrita have already arrived, and BITS Pilani will soon be joining them." He highlighted skill development programmes to help people seize opportunities abroad. "We will also encourage MSME companies, as 80 percent of jobs worldwide come from MSMEs." He shared that Tata Group Chairman Chandrasekaran stated that 35 per cent of TCS employees are Telugus, which is why they are coming to AP.
