The inseparable bond between two identical Labradors who met at doggy daycare has caught the attention of viewers on Reddit, after their owner posted that the unexpected happened once the two became closer friends.
The owner of one of the dogs took to the platform on June 18 to share an image of the two best friends sitting side by side. Viewers were then told through an accompanying text what the pet owner had discovered about the duo's warm bond.
"Meet Stella (right) our 5-month-old puppy and her best friend Roxie (left) who is also a 5-month-old girl," Stella's owner, who goes by u/mitpenco on Reddit, said. "They recently met at doggy daycare and instantly became inseparable."
After Stella and Roxie's owners found out that their identical pets share the same birthday, they decided to dig a little deeper. Stella's owner recalled the moment the pair realized that their dogs are actually siblings, recent littermates even.
"Fast forward to last night and we receive a message from the breeder we got our darling girl from informing us that they are actually sisters," they said. "The past month these two adorable girls have had the opportunity to reunite each week and get to know each other again!"
The chance encounter has prompted a flood of delighted comments from viewers online, many of whom gushed over the unexpected reunion. Several have shared theories about how the pair might have developed such a close bond, or perhaps known they are related all along.
"Aww I wonder if they recognized each other's scent," one viewer said, while another added: "I believe I read that at that age that will recognize each other as siblings and it will cement the memory more or less."
A third viewer shared a similar experience: "I know how heartwarming this is! A couple years ago my chocolate boy cut his paw, not deep enough to warrant going directly to the vet but I popped in to ask a question about treating it at home...While there a couple ladies came in with the chocolate [Labrador] and of course I was all over that, turns out it was my boy's sister so we have had steady play dates since they've been reunited."
"This is the sweetest," another viewer said.
"Happy families," another added.
"They look so happy," a different viewer shared in agreement.
"Oh my goodness, those are some cute pups," another commented, while another said: "A real life Parent Trap moment! So glad they were reunited."

Woman Quits Her Job Due to ‘Weird Energy.' Now She Is Mad Boyfriend Won't Pay Her Rent
A 27-year-old man told his girlfriend he doesn't want to pay her rent if she doesn't have a job His girlfriend quit her job with no warning, notice or plan People on the internet agreed with him setting a boundaryA man found himself in a standoff with his girlfriend after she "quit her job over a vibe." The 27-year-old man took to Reddit to ask if he handled the situation correctly, explaining that he has been with his 26-year-old girlfriend for two years, and they moved in together six months ago. However, three weeks ago, his girlfriend quit her job with no warning, notice, or plan for the future. 'She said her manager 'gave her weird energy' and she was tired of being around people who didn't 'see her full self,'" the poster explains. "I asked what her plan was, and she said she was going to 'take time to realign.' " While things were fine at first, "now rent is due, and she says she can't cover her half." She asked the poster if he could just "take care of it" and that she would "make it up to [him] spiritually." 'I laughed,' the man shares. 'I genuinely thought she was joking. She wasn't.' The man told his girlfriend that he would cover her rent this month, but he's 'not her bank.' 'She flipped out and said I'm 'capitalist-minded' and lack emotional support,' the man shares. 'Now she's pouting around the apartment calling me transactional.' Although the man was unsure if he was in the wrong, the commenters were squarely on his side, calling out the hypocrisy of his girlfriend labeling him "transactional" while simultaneously expecting him to support her financially. 'Her vibe is definitely being a leech who takes advantage of people which will definitely darken her 'aura.' Not good vibes at all," one commenter wrote. 'Explain to her that's how things work. You pay rent and you can continue living there," another added. "Tell her that she will have to pay her half of the rent and other bills. If she doesn't have the money, she can borrow from the spirits.' Read the original article on People

Groomsman Missed Save the Date Being Shared in Facebook Message and Booked a Vacation. Now He's Wants to Skip the Nuptials
A 21-year-old man says that his cousin asked him to be a groomsman in his wedding — but a later wedding invite with a wedding date was sent over Facebook, so he didn't see it The man says that he had already booked a vacation during the wedding, and now he 'can't afford' to change the flights The man shared his story on Reddit and asked his fellow Redditors if missing the wedding would be a faux pas given the circumstancesA man says he may need to miss a family wedding due to a scheduling conflict, but he's not sure he's the one at fault. The 21-year-old detailed his story on the popular Reddit forum 'Am I the A------?,' a place where Reddit users can go to seek advice about interpersonal dilemmas. In the post, the Redditor explained that he was asked to be a groomsman in his cousin's wedding 'months ago,' but did not subsequently receive an invitation or information on a wedding time. The man then booked a vacation, only to find out 'weeks later' that it overlapped with the wedding. The original poster (OP) went on to explain that it turned out he had, in fact, received a wedding invitation with the date — but that it was sent via Facebook and he never saw it. 'I don't use Facebook, so I must've cleared the notifications weeks or even months ago without realizing,' he said. The OP said that he can't afford to change his flights for the vacation, but he also feels 'soooo bad' for missing the wedding, especially because he is supposed to be in the wedding party. 'I personally am not that desperate to go [to the wedding], as I don't see my family often anyway,' he continued, adding, 'But it is giving me so much anxiety, and saying no feels like I am committing a great evil.' 'Would I be [the a------] for declining?' he asked at the end of his post. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. A number of post commenters said that they did not think the OP was at fault given that he never received a formal invitation. 'NTA [not the a------],' one person said. 'If you were invited to be in the wedding party, you should have been provided dates, details, and a proper, formal invitation to the ceremony like everyone else. A Facebook invite? Please. Go on your holiday, enjoy it, and don't look back.' 'NTA,' added someone else. 'If your cousin is too cheap to mail a proper save-the-date and invitation, you shouldn't feel bad for not having it at the forefront of your mind. This was a communication breakdown on their part. Enjoy your vacation!' Another person, however, thought that the OP should have done his due diligence and asked his cousin for a ballpark wedding date before booking a trip. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! 'You never bothered to ask about when the wedding might be before booking the trip? Seems you subconsciously decided not to go even before booking the trip. However, only receiving a FB invite for a wedding is odd,' the person said. Another person thought everyone was at fault in the situation. 'ESH [everyone sucks here],' the person wrote. 'I find it hard to believe that they only told you the date via Facebook, but if so, that's on them. But you apparently agreed to be a groomsman and had so little interest that you never asked for any details before booking a conflicting holiday.' Read the original article on People

Woman Says Her Co-Worker Told Her She Looks ‘Flat' and ‘Tired' — So Here's How She Responded to That Colleague
A Reddit user shared her 50-something colleague's unsolicited remarks that caught her off guard at work 'I thought I looked nice,' the 27-year-old remembered thinking after that co-worker said she looked 'very flat' and 'tired' A fellow Redditor replied, 'You don't comment on people's looks unless they can fix it within 10 seconds (food in teeth) or a quick bathroom break (a stain or mark somewhere)'One woman's lunch break at work took an unexpected turn when her colleague made unsolicited remarks about her appearance. The 27-year-old employee explained on Reddit's 'Am I the A------' forum what her 50-something co-worker said to her — and how she reacted to it. 'I was sitting in a semi-private sitting area watching Instagram Reels on my phone with my headphones in. I don't like to chat on my breaks so I usually keep my head down,' she wrote. 'I saw someone in my peripheral and looked up to find my co-worker waving to get my attention.' 'I took my headphones out and the first thing she said was, 'You look very flat today.' I was pretty taken aback,' she continued. 'I thought I looked nice, but I hadn't done anything different than usual, and I was interacting with people as I normally do, so it wasn't based on my personality.' Feeling 'embarrassed,' the woman replied, 'Geez, thanks,' to which the colleague then added that she also looked 'tired.' 'I replied that she didn't look great either. I meant it to be playful but I could tell from her face that the joke didn't land, so I said sorry and that I was just joking, but she rolled her eyes and walked away,' she recalled. The woman, who admitted that her response was 'quite rude,' also said this isn't the first incident with this colleague, who in the past has made several 'rude' statements about her appearance. is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Wondering if she overreacted, she asked Redditors, 'Am I the a------ for returning my co-workers comment to her?' Fellow Redditors were quick to validate the woman's reaction. 'Did her parents teach her nothing? You don't comment on people's looks unless they can fix it within 10 seconds (food in teeth) or a quick bathroom break (a stain or mark somewhere),' one reader commented. 'If she said, 'You look flat, are you alright?' that would be fine, but it sounds like she was definitely putting you down. She got what she deserved.' Another person offered a sentence for the woman to use next time the colleague remarks on her appearance: 'You look reportable to HR today.' Read the original article on People
