They certainly 'painted the town green' in the beautiful Dee Valley as they brought their Satellites UK Tour to a delighted sell-out crowd.
Made up of Danny O'Donoghue (vocals), Glen Power (drums), Ben Sargeant (bass) and Ben Weaver (guitar) - The Script first rose to fame in 2008 with the release of their self-titled debut album, which featured hit singles The Man Who Can't Be Moved and Breakeven.
Since then, the band has enjoyed a hit-filled career including six number one albums.
The multi-platinum band delivered a hit-filled, high-energy set in the North Wales town that had fans singing along from the very first note.
Opening with the anthemic Superheroes, The Script powered through a career-spanning 90-minute show featuring fan favourites including Rain, For the First Time, Six Degrees of Separation, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Nothing, Paint the Town Green and The Last Time.
Frontman Danny O'Donoghue kept fans hanging on every word, blending soaring vocals with heartfelt storytelling in true Script style.
One lucky lady in particular was the envy of many as Danny plucked her from the to dance with him on stage. But the showman he is, he got in amongst the rest of the crowd - add in confetti canons and pyrotechnics - we had it all.
The night reached a powerful finale with a three-song encore, featuring the emotional Home Is Where the Hurt Is, global hit Breakeven, and their UK number one hit single Hall of Fame.
Earlier, special guest BRIT Award winner Tom Walker opened the evening with a soulful and captivating set, showcasing his powerhouse vocals and hit songs including Leave a Light On and Just You and I.
TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion continues on Friday (July 4) with headliner Olly Murs.

Will there be The Old Guard 3? Here's what we know about a sequel:

Summary The Old Guard 2 is the latest instalment in this Netflix Original movie franchise. This action film has everything from superheroes and missions to betrayals and found family. Netflix determines whether to renew a movie based on various factors such as completion rate, viewership numbers, production costs, and more. As of now, there's no news regarding the renewal of The Old Guard, but we look at the possibility of a Part 3. It may have taken 5 years to get The Old Guard sequel but here it finally is! And The Old Guard 2 cast includes old and new faces such as Charlize Theron, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthias Schoenaerts, KiKi Layne, Henry Golding, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Veronica Ngô and Uma Thurman. With shocking revelations and plot twists, the ending had viewers on the edge of their seats. If you've watched the movie and want to know if there will be a third, this article has all the details you're looking for. Here's everything we know: What is The Old Guard 2 about? As a quick refresher, the first movie follows a bunch of immortals, led by Andy, who go around saving the world and humanity from man-made dangers. In the first movie, they face an existential crisis, an innovative villain and centuries-old regret. The Old Guard 2 picks up where it left off with a now-human Andy, Nile, Joe, Nicky and Copley teaming up to get rid of powerful criminals. But trouble is afoot as Nile dreams of a strange woman wreaking havoc. Traps are set but the team races to her willingly as this new danger is none other than Quỳnh, the immortal Andy failed to save 500 years ago. Seeking revenge against the immortals and humanity for abandoning her, Quỳnh ropes in the team's exiled member, Booker and a mysterious woman, Discord, who may be more powerful than all of the immortals combined. We have extensive coverage of The Old Guard 2 on the site, including a movie review. You can find those HERE! Will there be The Old Guard 3? At the time of writing, Netflix hasn't renewed The Old Guard 3. The Old Guard 2 has been co-produced by Skydance Productions which is responsible for several franchise sequels such as Mission: Impossible, Star Trek and Terminator. However, with Netflix distributing The Old Guard 2, we will have to keep an eye out on the reception. Netflix usually announces sequels depending on the popularity, views and drop-off rates. Some movies are instantly renewed like Enola Holmes and Rebel Moon while others take years such as Extraction, Murder Mystery and The Old Guard itself. So, while The Old Guard 2 does have a steady fanbase which guarantees some modicum of success, there is still no news on a sequel. However, the original author and the cast are excited to turn it into a multi-series franchise which means there is hope. What do we know about The Old Guard 3? Not much is known about The Old Guard 3 at the moment, given that it has not been greenlit. However, Part 2 ends on a massive cliffhanger which means there is ample material for the next movie should it happen. On top of that, the movies are based on Greg Rucka's graphic novels of the same name, so there is definitely a framework ready to be followed. However, nothing is confirmed. We'll be sure to update this page as soon as any new information comes in. Would you like to see The Old Guard return with a Part 3? Or do you think the story has run its course? Can you spend cash at TRNSMT and other festival FAQs answered

Plenty of festivals are card-only these days - but is TRNSMT? TRNSMT is kicking off next weekend, July 11 to July 13, with 150,000 festival-goers set to embark on a three-day stint of music, booze and general revelry. Headliners for this year's event include 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol. Artists like The Script, Gracie Abrams, and Fontaines D.C. will also be making an appearance at Glasgow Green over the weekend. But such a large event with so many attendees can easily turn hectic, so it's crucial to know what to expect ahead of the festival. ‌ One vital thing to be aware of is how you can pay for food and drink on the festival grounds, as many venues and events these days have opted to go completely cashless (especially after Covid). ‌ Here's everything you need to know. Can you spend cash at TRNSMT? Like many others these days, TRNSMT festival is completely cashless, meaning payments throughout the entire festival site can only be made via bank card or contactless device. So, if you're usually a cash person, do not forget to bring a contactless gadget such as your phone or smart watch, and bringing your bank card as a back-up wouldn't hurt either. Which items are allowed or forbidden in the TRNSMT site? Small bags, sun cream, and collapsible water bottles are allowed on the festival site. Power banks, hand sanitiser and lip balm are also permitted. ‌ However, chairs, large bottles, bags bigger than an A4 sheet of paper and external food and drink are not allowed to be brought into TRNSMT. ‌ What is the age limit to attend TRNSMT? All festival attendees must be a minimum of 16-years-old, and ID may be required upon entry to the site. A driving licence or provisional licence, or an ID with an intact PASS logo, such as a Young Scot Card, can be used as valid ID. Click here for all the age-limit details ahead of the festival. ‌ Can you leave and come back into the festival? Unfortunately, once you're in the festival grounds, you may not leave and re-enter, meaning that once you're in, you're in for the day. Of course, attendees may leave whenever they want, but once they have left the grounds, they can't come back in. ‌ What food will be available at the festival? A wide range of food and drink offerings will be available at the festival that cater to all dietary requirements. Click here for our full TRNSMT site food map, or here for a full list of all food vendors that will be setting up shop over next weekend. When does the box office open and are there physical tickets? Gallery: Olly Murs dazzles the crowd at Llangollen Pavilion

The chart-topping pop star brought his 15 Years of Hits UK tour to the North Wales town as packed crowds cheered and danced all night long. It was a joy to watch, and remembering Olly's first audition for UK talent show The X Factor - I'm not sure where the 15-years have gone! After chatting to one of Britain's biggest and best-loved stars a couple of months ago, I knew Olly was excited to visit the festival, and Llangollen, for the first time, following in the footsteps of dear friend and colleague Tom Jones after last year. And it certainly was the 90-minutes of pure hits that he promised, with an overwhelming sense of nostalgia and good vibes all round. The cheeky 41-year-old got everyone moving with performances of Army of Two, Please Don't Let Me Go, Marry Me, Dear Darlin', Heat Skips a Beat, Wrapped Up and Save Me - his brand new single. And of course, Olly couldn't leave the stage without the favourite get-up-and-move tune, Dance With Me Tonight. The evening truly ended on a high and we loved every second. Earlier in the evening, crowds were treated to multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Lemar and rising boyband Absnt Mind who opened the show. Both acts were beyond impressive, generated a real buzz and enthusiasm for the night ahead. TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion concludes on Saturday with final headliners The Human League.
