Both the airports scored 5 out of 5 in the assessment while Maharana Pratap Airport, Udaipur in Rajasthan too attained the top position with a perfect score of 5.
This is the second time that Bhopal airport secured the top position. Two years ago in 2023, Bhopal airport had secured top position.
The evaluation covered 60 airports from a total of 62 facilities. The remaining two airports, Jaisalmer and Tezpur, were not included in the assessment as they lacked scheduled flight services. For Round-1 2025, the overall Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), evaluated on a five-point scale, reached 4.59.
Director of Bhopal airport, Ramji Awasthi, said, "We have implemented several innovative measures to enhance the travel experience."

MP's first MRO facility to be set up at Raja Bhoj airport Bhopal by 2026
Bhopal: Come 2026, Bhopal Airport will witness the establishment of the state's first Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities in India. The Rs 25 crore project is underway on 1.5 acre land. The airport's central location throughout the country provides ample growth and logistics prospects for the facility. Bhopal: The 'UDAN Yatri Cafe' commenced operations on Wednesday at Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal. This joint venture between the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India (AAI) strives to provide economical, delicious, and high-quality food options to travellers. The UDAN (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik) programme was initiated to establish air links with regional cities and provide cost-effective, secure air travel for ordinary citizens. While airfares were reduced under this scheme, expensive airport food remained problematic for travellers. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu introduced the 'UDAN Yatri Cafe', first at Kolkata Airport. Currently operating at four airports nationwide, Bhopal marks its fifth location. A female passenger conducted the opening ceremony at Bhopal Airport.
