After a recent Money In The Bank match, Becky Lynch felt confident no other couple in WWE could top her and Seth Rollins.
A WWE champion appears to have suffered a serious injury.
Liv Morgan — one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions — suffered a legitimate injury during Monday Night Raw on June 16, and she could possibly be sidelined in the future.
Morgan faced Kairi Sane in a singles match at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Early in the contest, Morgan approached Sane when dropped to her knees for a single-leg takedown. Morgan went face first on the mat as did her right shoulder. Morgan immediately yelled in pain and rolled out of the ring as the referee blocked Sane from performing any other move.
Morgan went down and held her shoulder as medical personnel came to check on her. The match was eventually called off as Morgan was escorted out of the arena. Sane was declared winner by forfeit.
What injury did Liv Morgan suffer?
WWE commentator Michael Cole said Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder. While it's unknown how it could affect a wrestler, it typically is an injury that can sideline athletes for months.
What determines the timeline of return depends on the severity of the injury and if surgery happens. Without surgery, the Mayo Clinic says, the shoulder would improve "over a few weeks," but if surgery is performed, full recovery can take five to six months.
Regardless, it looks to be a tough break for one of the workhorses in the women's division. Morgan is currently a record four-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez. The duo won the titles at Raw After WrestleMania on April 21 and they lost them to Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch one day earlier at WrestleMania 41.
Recently, it had been hinted Morgan would have a storyline with current Women's World Champion Iyo Sky and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who returned to programming on June 9.
The two-time Women's World Champion has suffered shoulder injuries before. In 2023, she missed six months of action after she dislocated her shoulder in a match with Rhea Ripley. It was revealed to be a labrum tear and she required surgery.

Jake Paul faces unusual call out from former boxing champion
The former boxing champion known as Butterbean announced on Sunday he was back for "one more fight" as part of a campaign with Lucky Energy, and he called out Jake Paul. Butterbean, whose real name is Eric Esch, is 58 years old, but that didn't appear to be a problem in the ad he was in. The clip showed the former boxer get up from his wheelchair to call out Paul. "There's only one fighter out there who wants to fight retired bald guys. Jake Paul, I'm coming for you," he said in the commercial posted to Instagram. "… I want to fight Jake Paul because he runs his damn mouth too much." The commercial also took a shot at the Paul brothers' energy drink, Prime, which is a major sponsor in WWE as Logan Paul competes as a wrestler there. Butterbean, 58, was the IBA world super heavyweight champion during his career and won the Elite-1 MMA super heavyweight championship when he tried his hand at mixed martial arts. He was 77-10 as a boxer and 17-10 as an MMA fighter. After he hung up the gloves, Butterbean dealt with chronic pain that hampered his mobility and put him in a wheelchair for about nine years. He worked with WWE legend "Diamond" Dallas Page's yoga program to regain his ability to stand up and walk. Paul has taken the boxing world by storm since he began his foray into the sport. He defeated Julio Cesar Chavez via unanimous decision. It was his first bout since the spectacle with Mike Tyson. Noah Lyles vs. Tyreek Hill race would be good for TV, but not competitive on the track
A few days after Xavier Worthy broke the NFL combine 40-yard dash record, USA TODAY Sports sarcastically asked the then-draft prospect if he thought he could beat Usain Bolt in the 40-yard dash. Bolt, the former Jamaican track and field superstar, eight-time Olympic gold medalist, and 100- and 200-meter world-record holder, effortlessly ran a 4.22 in the 40-yard dash in sweats and sneakers at the NFL Experience in 2019. Worthy clocked in with an NFL combine record-setting time of 4.21 at the 2024 NFL scouting combine. 'No,' Worthy answered when asked if he could beat Bolt. 'His 40 was in shoes and sweats. There's no comparison. I'm not even gonna disrespect him.' MORE: What is the fastest NFL combine 40-yard dash time? Worthy's honest assessment applies to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, too. Hill and Olympic 100-meter champion Noah Lyles have playfully gone back and forth about competing against each other in a race. Their scheduled race was canceled in June due to what Lyles described as "complications" and "personal reasons." The race would've been good publicity for both athletes and brought more casual fans to the sport of track and field. But let's stop the charade. Hill is not in the same league as Lyles or any world-class sprinter when it comes to speed. Hill did beat Lyles' younger brother, Josephus, in a 100 prelim at the ATX Sprint Classic on Saturday with a wind-aided time of 10.10. Hill conveniently elected not to run in the final, where the top five finishers all ran sub-10 seconds (all times were wind-aided). Hill, who competed in track and field in college, has a personal best legal time of 10.15 seconds in the 100 meters. The Dolphins wideout would've placed ninth at the 2024 U.S. Olympic track and field trials if he equaled his record. Hill's top mark in the 60 is 6.64. His record in the 60 would've been good enough for eighth in the event at the 2025 U.S. Indoor track and field championships. Noah won a gold medal in the 100 at the Paris Olympics with a personal-best of 9.79. His lifetime best in the 60 is 6.43. Both times are comfortably ahead of Hill's all-time best marks. Furthermore, Noah's 10 best times in the 100 are sub-9.90. His top 10 times in the 60 are all 6.55 or better. All of which are faster than Hill's lifetime best in both events. The times don't lie. They reveal the obvious truth. Yes, the Noah Lyles vs. Tyreek Hill showdown would've been entertaining for sports fans. They are two of the biggest stars in their respective sports. But it wouldn't have been a competitive race. Hill is arguably the fastest person in the NFL (although Worthy might have something to say about that). Lyles currently holds the title of the fastest man in the world, having won the Olympic gold medal in the 100.
