Get Her Out
Episode 3 of The Buccaneers season 2 starts with Theo reeling after the bombshell reveal about Guy. Nan eventually concedes that yes, she did sleep with Guy the night before their wedding.
Nan explains she was going to run away but also why it was necessary to go through with the marriage. She needed to secure his title so she could protect her sister. The Dowager Duchess stays quiet this whole time, listening, as Nan intentionally doesn't include her involvement.
Theo leaves the castle, having not been seen for a while, although that doesn't deter the current plan for a Midsummer Night's Dream party to go ahead. This is all for Lizzy of course, who's taken aback when she learns the news that Theo has gone.
However, that shock soon spirals when she finds out her mum, Lavinia, has shown up. She's not been around for months and Lizzy is not particularly happy. Thankfully, her happiness soon returns when Hector takes her away for a walk. He wants to be with her and asks her to marry him. She agrees and it's good news for them all round.
Conchita and her sister butt heads over the idea of romance. Cora doesn't think her sister is happy in her marriage but Conchita reminds her that there's more to romance than just stroking hair and reciting poetry.
At the party later on in the episode, Cora comes clean that she's worried she may not find romance. She wants her happily-ever-after and with her parents putting pressure on her finding love, Conchita actually gives her sister some good advice. Specifically, in just giving someone her time. That eventually does come from a guy wearing yellow socks – one of Cora's quirks.
Conchita decides that she should set up a matchmaking service to bring power back into the arms of women so they can choose a partner instead. Well, be careful what you wish for; Lavinia offers to pay her double to help out Mabel's 'instincts' and to set her on the right path.
With most of her friends off matchmaking, Mabel remains a rebel, especially in the wake of her mother worried about her not being 'normal'. I mean, normal is overrated anyway, embrace the weird quirks!
Meanwhile, Jinny is approached by an Italian friend at the market when she tries to haggle and speak Italian. He brings her back home, where she joins a surprised Guy as Jinny starts to cook for him. It's not cooked particularly well though, with the steaks very much well done. Guy jokes that this is a 'glorious feast', until they end up in a food fight.
Back to the party, the Duke returns. Theo is not going to hide and has decided he's going to end the marriage. He wants her out of the castle, given her betrayal and conspiracy. The Duchess agrees to his wishes… but believes they need to secure an heir first.
Theo tries to just throw himself into the lust but without the feelings behind it, he struggles. He eventually tells her she can leave… but only after they've had children. Nan is pissed and confronts the Dowager, pointing out that the marriage that she's trapped her in, alongside the hard-fought title, will die with them.
However, Reede Robinson, whom the Dowager had been getting along well with earlier in the episode, seemingly overhears all this. Now, Reede and the Dowager have a history together, given they used to be rebels, but it seems he knows more than he's letting on.
We need more drama here though so Theo suddenly switches and tells Lizzy how extraordinary she is. He thinks that her being with Hector is a waste and suddenly starts pining for her.
As for Nan, she shows up in the office and finds a whole bunch of letters from Guy and Jinny. The Dowager has clearly been keeping these from her and she's not particularly happy.
The Dowager speaks to Theo after and explains that he found Guy and Nan together the night before the wedding. She sticks up for Nan and tells him it's not her fault. The Dowager forced her into this and explains that both are trapped in a cage equally. He's pissed and forces her out the castle.
The Episode Review
Oh dear, things are not looking good for Nan and Theo are they? With Theo finding out the truth about Guy, Nan is put in a difficult position as it seems she needs to secure an heir for the castle before she's even allowed to leave.
However, things are made that much more complicated when it seems Theo is now pining for Lizzy. Where did this come from? Was there any indication this was the case prior to this episode?
Meanwhile, Conchita is put in a difficult position as it seems she's going to have to 'work on' Mabel, although the drama involving Cora at least has a decent little ending.
This season has a lot of manufactured drama and I guess that's per the course for this show at this point. Whether the series can step up beyond that though is anybody's guess at this point.

Lottie Moss is writing an autobiography one year after suffering seizure from Ozempic use

Lottie Moss is writing an autobiography about her childhood and turbulent life in the spotlight including her seizure after using the drug Ozempic. The former Only Fans creator, 27, reflects on her battles with alcohol and substance abuse issues, according to the Sun. It's understood that she has kept written and video diaries since she was a teenager and will be using them to reference her colorful past. An insider said: 'Lottie has always been known as Kate's little sister - but this is her chance to tell her side of the story. 'She has kept written and video diaries since she was a teenager, so will be compiling all her scribbles and memories into the book. 'Lottie is excited to tell the truth about her struggles with body image, addiction and relationships.' has contacted Lottie's representatives for a comment. Lottie - the half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss - previously admitted she would try weight loss jabs again despite suffering a seizure as a direct result of taking Ozempic. She was rushed to hospital last year after 'illegally' obtaining the drug - originally manufactured to treat diabetes - and consequently suffering a reaction. Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her ITV series The Price Of Perfection, she said: 'I think I've always really struggled with my weight since I was younger and I think modeling didn't help, and always being around these gorgeous, tall models. 'You know I'm small as well, so I was like "I've got to be at least skinny".' Talking about her sister, she added: 'I think I always felt compared to her at the beginning of my career, and I think people expected me to be kind of like a carbon copy of her as well. 'You know, cos she was getting a little bit older, she wasn't doing so much so they thought "oh perfect, now we can have a whole new Kate Moss". 'Like I felt a lot of pressure to be like her and look like her and you know, I dabbled in that party lifestyle. 'That was essentially how they stayed skinny back in the day cos they had this wild party lifestyle.' Lottie said the party lifestyle wasn't for her, so she turned her attention to weight loss jabs, which have grown in popularity. Ozempic is a diabetes medication but it is also being sold privately for weight loss, and celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Amy Schumer, Boy George and Heather Gay have admitted to using the drug. Lottie, who obtained the jabs 'illegally', explained: 'For me, I needed to keep the weight off and I needed a quick fix and I heard about Ozempic and I thought 'I might as well just give it a go'. 'The way I went around it was really bad, and I shouldn't have, because it was kind of... I kinda got it in an illegal way. 'I got it from a doctor who was giving it out under a table. 'And to give it to someone without doing any tests or anything, or asking them any questions about their health is so, you know, crazy to me.' Lottie revealed she had lost between 13-15lb after just two weeks on the drug, which she described as 'dramatic', before having a seizure. She said she didn't notice the huge drop in her weight at the time 'because you're so sick and tired all the time'. 'I felt something really weird happen as soon as I got on the bed, I had the seizure and they were holding me down,' she recalled. 'I was terrified. I honestly felt like I was dying, and it sounds really dramatic, but I've never had a seizure before.' Lottie said it 'wasn't worth it' and asked herself: 'Why did I do this to my body?' She added: 'I remember, just after I came out of the hospital, I felt good because I was so slim and I get how that feeling can be so addictive now.' Despite the impact the drug had on her health, Lottie admitted she has thought about taking it again. She told Olivia: 'I've thought about it a couple of times, I won't lie. 'I wish I could sit her and say no, honestly. I've definitely thought about it since.'
