In his address, Sheikh Hisham Naseer highlighted the profound meanings of the Prophet's Hijrah (migration), describing it as a pivotal moment in Islamic history that laid the foundation for the first Islamic state. He emphasized that the Hijrah teaches reliance on God alongside planning, effort, and practical action. Dr. Ahmad Al-Harhashah affirmed that the Hijrah represents both a spiritual and practical model for reviving the Muslim nation through conscious faith and sincere work. He noted that this timeless event teaches how adversity can be turned into opportunity and weakness into strength through honest intentions and righteous deeds. On the sidelines of the event, a specialized course was launched for Quran memorization, recitation, and Tajweed (correct pronunciation) tailored for the elderly. The course enrolled 26 participants from the local community and will run for three months under the supervision of qualified instructors. Dr. Al-Harhashah explained that the course is part of the directorate's ongoing efforts to promote Quranic literacy and strengthen the community's connection with the Holy Book across all age groups. He stressed that the Quran is not limited to a certain age but is a comprehensive guide for life, instilling high moral values and proper conduct for both worldly and spiritual success. He further emphasized the importance of implementing Quranic teachings in daily life, stating that gatherings of knowledge and remembrance serve as lifeboats in times of uncertainty, guiding people back to peace and enlightenment. — Petra News Agency

Ammon News - Today, Saturday, marks the 31st birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the eldest son of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and the 42nd-generation direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). His Royal Highness was born in Amman on 19 Muharram 1415 AH, corresponding to June 28, 1994. HRH the Crown Prince, who holds the rank of major in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, graduated in 2017 from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. HRH completed his High School education at King's Academy, Jordan, in 2012 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in International History from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C, in 2016. On July 2, 2009, a royal decree was issued naming His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Jordan. Since then, His Royal Highness has also assumed the role of Regent to His Majesty King Abdullah II on several occasions. On June 1, 2023, His Royal Highness married Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein. On August 3, 2024, Their Royal Highnesses welcomed their firstborn daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
