DANA WHITE has suddenly been cut from promoting Canelo Alvarez's fight against Terence Crawford.
TKO Holdings - who own the UFC and WWE - signed a multi-year partnership to establish a boxing promotion alongside Saudi Arabia's Turki Alalshikh.

As well as a UFC-style boxing league, two super-fights were set to be promoted by TKO and White every year.
And Canelo's blockbuster against Crawford was due to kickstart the partnership on Friday, September 12 in Las Vegas at the Raiders Stadium.
Then all of a sudden, Alalshikh told Ring Magazine - which he owns - that the date of the bout was set to change to Saturday, September 13.
And he was also considering having the bout move to New York or Los Angeles - opposed to the £1.5BILLION, 65,000-seat Raiders Stadium.

It caused huge confusion with the news the fight would also be under the Riyadh Season banner and on pay-per-view.
That suggested White and Netflix were out of the picture - with UFC 320 also set for September 13 and due to clash with the new Canelo date.
Now, Alalshikh has confirmed Saudi-based Sela will promote the super-middleweight title decider for Riyadh.
A broadcaster is not yet decided but Riyadh Season have an exclusive deal with sports streaming service DAZN - who operate a PPV platform.

Netflix debuted in boxing in November when Mike Tyson controversially came out of retirement aged 58 to fight Jake Paul.
And over 100 MILLION tuned in to watch YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul's points win - causing the stream to crash.

The dramatic turn of events leaves White and TKO's future in boxing up in the air - despite their plans to launch a brand new boxing league.
On Monday, May 12 Alalshikh revealed he was flying to New York with White also posting a picture in the Big Apple soon after.
SunSport understands Canelo, 34, and Crawford, 37, were also set to join them to film content with Netflix ahead of the bout.
But, just a day later and Alalshikh dropped the news that the fight's date and location was under consideration.
White is yet to comment on his apparent removal from the mega-boxing bout and the future of his league.
He has partnered with Alalshikh before having held two events in Riyadh in the past.
Canelo beat William Scull, 32, to regain the 168lb undisputed thrown in early May as part of his four-bout deal with Alalshikh.
Meanwhile Crawford has not fought since moving up to 154lb to win the WBA title against Israil Madrimov, 30, in August 2024.

Tyson Fury has fought just twice since his split decision win over Jake Paul back in 2023 - but the heavyweight is desperate to secure a rematch for his brother Tommy Tyson Fury is pulling out all the stops to get Jake Paul back in the ring with his brother Tommy, even going as far as texting the American. The pair first squared off in 2023, and despite Fury hitting the canvas in the final round, he emerged victorious by split decision. Since then, there's been chatter about a rematch, but nothing concrete has materialised. Post-Paul bout, Fury has only stepped into the ring twice, notching up points wins against KSI and Kenan Hanjalic. Meanwhile, Paul, the YouTuber who's carved out a boxing career, has kept busy with six fights, recently outboxing ex-middleweight champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Now it looks like Paul is gearing up for round two with Fury. His camp has been vocal about Tommy allegedly snubbing a lucrative Netflix deal last year. With negotiations heating up, Tyson, the 'Gypsy King', is getting stuck into the talks, reports All Out Fighting. Tyson was quizzed about the rematch prospects and said: "I hoped they would. I've even texted Jake Paul to say 'what's going on do you want to get it on with Tommy and make the fight happen. I just think there's a lot of egos involved in boxing. It's a lot of 'he said this, she said that, I want this, I want that'. When things like that happen, it's difficult to make fights as you've seen over the years." Fresh off his Saturday night triumph, Paul didn't hold back in calling out a slew of fighters including cruiserweight champs Gilberto Ramirez and Badou Jack, and even Tyson Fury. But it was Paul's business partner Nakisa Bidarian who later shed light on the fighter's ambitions. "I want tougher fighters. I want to be world champion. Zurdo looked slow as s*** tonight. That'd be easy work, too," Paul declared confidently. "Badou Jack. I want everybody. Anthony Joshua, Gervonta. And Tommy, stop running. I'm hustling, getting warmed up. You've already seen my face, get used to seeing it more." When pressed about when he'll step back into the ring, Paul asserted: "As soon as possible. I'm staying active, I'm fighting everybody." Bidarian elaborated on Paul's plans, confirming that avenging his previous loss to Fury is high on the agenda. "If it's not for the title, then it's looking at Tommy, if he's reasonable, then Anthony Joshua. He's adamant he wants to make that fight happen at the end of 2026 and we're going to meet with Matchroom when we're in New York for the greatest trilogy in the history of boxing, Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor 3." Prior to Paul's comeback, Fury - who had his first fight in May after an 18-month break - sent a spine-chilling message to the YouTube star turned pugilist, stating: "Jake Paul's a b***h and he's running scared. Jake, the hand's fixed now, baby. The hand's fixed. I fought a guy in here tonight who's had over 100 amateur fights and is experienced as hell and he's as tough as teak. If Jake Paul wants to step inside this ring, I guarantee you next time I'll knock you spark out."

Supreme Court to rule on state transgender student sports bans
WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday waded into the legal fight over state laws that ban transgender athletes from competing in girls and women's school and college sports, taking up cases from West Virginia and Idaho. The court will hear cases involving two transgender students, Becky Pepper-Jackson and Lindsay Hecox, who challenged state bans in West Virginia and Idaho, respectively. Both won injunctions that allow them to continue to compete in sports. Pepper-Jackson, now 15, takes puberty blocking medication, while Hecox, a 24-year-old college student, has received testosterone suppression and estrogen treatments. The court's decision to hear the case comes two weeks after the conservative majority delivered a major blow to transgender rights by upholding a Tennessee law that bans gender-affirming for young people. In doing so, the court left various legal questions about transgender rights unresolved. Oral arguments will likely take place later this year, with a ruling expected by June 2026. The states both enacted bans that categorically bar transgender students from participating in girls or women's sports. More than half the 50 states now have such laws, but legal challenges have not been decisively resolved. The fight for and against the expansion of transgender rights has become a flashpoint nationwide and was an issue in the recent presidential election, with Donald Trump denigrating Democrats for supporting the effort. His administration has begun to roll back measures taken by President Joe Biden to expand protections for transgender people. In February, the National Collegiate Athletic Association also changed course, announcing a new policy to limit women's sports to 'student-athletes assigned female at birth only.' In Pepper-Jackson's case, a federal judge initially ruled in her favor but concluded in January 2023 that the law was most likely legal and allowed it to be enforced against her. Pepper-Jackson appealed, and the Richmond, Virginia-based 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals blocked West Virginia officials from enforcing it against her. The Supreme Court in April 2023 rejected the state's attempt to enforce the law against Pepper-Jackson while the litigation continues, meaning she has been able to continue to participate in school sports, namely cross-country and track. Hecox, who plays soccer and also runs, similarly obtained an injunction from a district court judge against Idaho officials. She also won on appeal at the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Pepper-Jackson and Hecox both failed to qualify for running teams at their respective schools, according to court papers. Pepper-Jackson did place third in the state for middle school discus and sixth in middle school shot put, losing out to cisgender girls. She finished 67th out of 68 in a cross-country event in eighth grade. In barring transgender girls from participating in girls sports at the middle school, high school and college levels, the West Virginia law enacted in 2021 says gender is 'based solely on the individual's reproductive biology and genetics at birth.' As such, it says, a female is a person 'whose biological sex determined at birth as female.' The Idaho law, passed in 2020, states that sports 'designated for females, women, or girls should not be open to students of the male sex.' Both cases concern whether such laws violate the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which requires that the law apply equally to everyone. Pepper-Jackson's case also raises a claim under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits sex discrimination in education. The Biden administration previously unveiled proposals on how Title IX applies to transgender athletes, saying that blanket bans would be unlawful but concluding that it may be lawful to limit involvement in competitive sports. But the the Trump administration has reversed course, with the White House issuing an executive order titled: 'Keeping Men out of Women's Sports.' In 2020, the Supreme Court ruled that federal law barring sex discrimination in employment protected LGBTQ people, a ruling that angered conservatives. The court is yet to rule on whether the same reasoning applies to Title IX.

The company's first set of financial figures were due by October 26 2021 but Gascoigne failed to file any paperwork since it was set up. Former England midfielder Gascoigne, 58, was the sole director of the Dorset-based company and owned all the shares in it. He had staved off five earlier attempts to have it closed down for failure to file records. Gascoigne, who also played for Tottenham, Newcastle and Lazio, has struggled with alcohol addiction for many years. In a podcast interview last year, he revealed he was back attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and was sleeping in the spare bedroom of his agent. He said: "I used to be a happy drunk, I ain't anymore. I'm a sad drunk. I don't go out and drink, I drink indoors. "If I want to make it a bad day, I go down the pub. If I want it to be a good day, I get my flying rod out and go fishing." He added: "I try not to get down because the world's already down enough and when I'm really down, that's when I pick up a drink to cheer myself up. "I don't think I let any managers down, or the players or the fans, you know. Gascoigne signed for Rangers in 1995 and spent three years with the club, quickly becoming a fans' favourite as he helped them win a record-equalling nine in a row league titles.
