Hear Tate McRae Join Morgan Wallen on Intimate Ballad ‘What I Want'
Wallen announced the duet last month, causing McRae's fans to criticize her decision to work with the country singer. 'If McRae had a country-pop pivot in mind, there were plenty of options that wouldn't place her next to one of country's most radioactive stars,' Rolling Stone wrote at the time. 'She's stepped into the hazard zone, but it's unlikely to completely derail her rising star — it might just bring her to an audience that doesn't care much about morals as long as the music is good. It'll have to run its course.'

I'm the Problem features 37 tracks, including collaborations with Post Malone, Eric Church, and Ernest. 'We recorded around 50 songs for this album and ended up cutting 13,' Wallen explained in a statement. 'I feel like we accomplished what I had in mind, and a huge shoutout to my close collaborators on this too. They came in ready and fired up every single day, and they inspire me as much as anything else.'
In support of his new album, Wallen will hit the road for his I'm the Problem tour across North America and will kick things off in Houston, Texas, at NRG Stadium with Corey Kent and Koe Wetzel on June 20. Other special guests planned for the stadium run include Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Gavin Adcock, Ella Langley, and Anne Wilson.
McRae's latest LP, So Close to What, arrived earlier this year and went to No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. She is currently out on her global Miss Possessive Tour, which continues through September.

Seti loves music and singing, and she yearns for her voice to be heard. Great, you say? No problem, you say? Well, not so fast! What you need to know is that Seti lives in Iran, where it is against the law for women to perform in public. That is why Soheil Beiraghi's fourth feature, Bidad, meaning Outcry, world premiering as the long-secret 12th movie in the Crystal Globe Competition of the 59th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) on July 9, would not be allowed by the censors in his home country. 'Refusing to give up, she turns the city streets into her stage, the only place where she feels truly free. As such, the independent film 'fights for all those whose voice remains unjustly silenced,' the Czech festival highlights. Bidad stars Sarvin Zabetian (180 Degree Rule, Terrestrial Verses), Leili Rashidi and Amir Jadidi. Beiraghi (I, Cold Sweat, Popular) wrote, directed, produced and co-edited the movie, and he handled art direction. His Alef Pictures is the production company and is also handling sales. Unpopular, which centers on complex female protagonists confronting societal and institutional barriers, was notably barred from public screening in Iran for more than two years. In addition to his film work, Beiraghi has directed for the stage and served on international film festival juries. Directed undercover for safety reasons, Bidad has drawn much attention since KVIFF said that it would hold off on unveiling details about its final competition film until later to protect its creative team. When it was finally announced last week, the festival highlighted: 'Beiraghi was investigated by the authorities during filming. It was necessary to withhold announcement of the film's inclusion in the festival's program until he and the members of his crew could safely travel out of Iran. A few days ago, the festival team was overjoyed to hear that they were on their way.' A few days later, KVIFF artistic director Karel Och told THR: 'We were blown away, not just by the political aspect of the film and the courage of the filmmakers to go that far concerning something, which in our parts of the world is just a natural thing — seeing a young woman singing in the streets of a metropolis, but also by how it's made. It's not just about the content. It's a really well-made film that has the potential to talk to people all around the world.' A trailer for Bidad, which THR can now exclusively debut, introduces Seti and the challenges she faces, including with security forces, along with other characters, including one wearing a LeBron James L.A. Brad Pitt Says ‘Se7en' 'Reinvigorated' His Passion for Acting After 'the Most Unhealthy Time'
David Fincher's Se7en played a part in reinvigorating Brad Pitt's passion for acting during the early years of his career. During a Monday appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, the F1: The Movie star reflected on what he described as 'the most unhealthy time' in his life during the summer of 1994. He admitted that after having 'not such great experiences coming off a couple of jobs,' he wasn't sure where his career was heading. 'It was the most unhealthy time, I just needed to check out and I would wake up, I would get a bong load, I'd have four Coca Colas on no ice, no food this particular summer, and I watched the O.J. trial, trying to figure out what do I do next? What do I do next?' Pitt found himself 'reinvigorated' after he was presented with the Se7en script, though he was still initially hesitant about the film's storyline before he met with the director. 'Then I read this script, my dear friend and manager and basically my sister now, Cynthia, sends this over, [and] she says, 'You got to read this.' I read the first seven pages, I call her up and I go, 'Are you kidding me?'' Pitt explained. 'Like, [it was] the cliché old cop wants out, the young cop comes in and he's looking at his high school football trophies?' She goes, 'Just finish it.' Then I go meet Finch, and he was just talking about films like I'd never heard anyone speak about film.' The Oscar winner added, 'I just got the jones back, and finding that thing, it just reinvigorated what I wanted out of this thing.' Se7en follows the story of Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman), who is about to retire, and David Mills (Pitt), as they track down a serial killer (Kevin Spacey) who murders people who he believes have committed one of the seven deadly sins. The film earned a sole nomination at the 68th Academy Awards for best film editing.
