A major road in Sheffield has been closed following a crash.Emergency services including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to Ecclesall Road earlier.Police said the road between Greystone Road and Huntington Tower junctions had been shut in both directions.Pictures from the scene show a cordon around a number of vehicles including a lorry and a pedal cycle. South Yorkshire Police have been contacted for further information.

A1 closed near Doncaster after motorbike and lorry crash
A major road in South Yorkshire has been closed in both directions due to a "serious collision" between a motorbike and a Highways said the A1 was shut between junction 35 for Doncaster and junction 34 for Blyth, Worksop, following the crash earlier."All emergency services are working at the scene with South Yorkshire Police leading the response at this stage," the agency have been told to expect delays, with diversions in place.

'Substantial delays' likely as M62 Ouse Bridge joint fails
