A major road in South Yorkshire has been closed in both directions due to a "serious collision" between a motorbike and a lorry.National Highways said the A1 was shut between junction 35 for Doncaster and junction 34 for Blyth, Worksop, following the crash earlier."All emergency services are working at the scene with South Yorkshire Police leading the response at this stage," the agency added.Drivers have been told to expect delays, with diversions in place.

"The clockwise carriageway is closed between J22 and J23. Greater Manchester Police continue their investigation work at the scene. "National Highways Traffic Officers are also in attendance assisting with traffic management." 1
