SummerSlam is a two-night extravaganza this year but there's another event in August at the end of the month that will be equally anticipated by many. Clash in Paris will hit France on Aug. 31 and a women's championship match awaited the winner of the 20-woman over-the-top battle royal at tonight's (Sun., July 13, 2025) Evolution 2 premium live event from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Nikki Bella, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Alba Fyre, Zelina Vega, Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, B-Fab, Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, Michin, Ivy Nile, Candice LeRae, Nia Jax, Lola Vice, Stephanie Vaquer, and United States Champion Giulia were the 20 women who got the chance to book their ticket.

Jordan got the big elimination save spot:
The final four ended up being Bella, Vaquer, Jax, and Legend. While it was a strong run for the legend of the match, perhaps fitting enough, she was tossed by Legend. Lash and Vaquer teamed up to take Jax out of the match, eventually setting up a 1-v-1 the crowd was seemingly happy with.
The finish was creative — they both went over the ropes to the apron and from there, Vaquer gave her a Devil's Kiss before rolling her off to the floor.
Stephanie Vaquer is headed to Paris!
After the match, Stephanie McMahon interviewed Vaquer in the ring, even speaking Spanish to do so. Vaquer responded in kind, meaning I can't tell you what she said. She did switch to English to say that it's not her first language but wrestling is her favorite language, and she wanted to say thank you for all the women before her. Then she promised to keep working hard until we remember her name forever.

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suárez is hit by a pitch on left hand at All-Star Game

Arizona Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suárez gets hit by a pitch during eighth inning at the MLB baseball All-Star game between the American League and National League, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Atlanta. (AP Photo/Mike Stewart) ATLANTA (AP) — Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suárez was hit by a pitch on his hand at Tuesday night's All-Star Game. Suárez dropped to his knees in obvious pain after being hit by a pitch from Chicago White Sox right-hander Shane Smith in the eighth inning. The pitch appeared to hit Suárez on his left pinkie finger at the end of the bat handle. He was examined by a trainer before staying in the game and jogging to first base. Advertisement Suárez, who is hitting .250 with 31 homers and 78 RBIs, is considered a possible top target at baseball's trade deadline. A serious injury could impact that trade outlook. ___ AP MLB:

Freddy Peralta, Trevor Megill Going Viral For Bob Uecker Tribute During All Star Game

Freddy Peralta, Trevor Megill Going Viral For Bob Uecker Tribute During All Star Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Milwaukee Brewers lost a legend over the offseason when Bob Uecker passed away in January at the age of 90. Uecker was larger than life in Milwaukee and he left an impact on every life he touched. Advertisement Two of those lives he touched were Brewers pitchers Freddy Peralta and Trevor Megill, both of whom are All Stars this year after putting up fantastic first halves of the 2025 season. At this year's All Star Game, both Peralta and Megill chose to make tributes in their own way to the late, great Bob Uecker and they are going viral for it. Mandatory Credit: Jordan Godfree-Imagn Images Trevor Megill, while walking the All Star Red Carpet coming into the game, showed off his tribute to Uecker, with it sewn into the lining of his suit jacket. Bob Uecker's most famous line from the Major League movies, "Juuuuust a bit outside" is an absolutely perfect tribute from the Brewers closer. The plaid pattern, Uecker's signature, it's all so perfect. Advertisement To add to the tributes, at every All Star Game, MLB stops for a moment to Stand Up To Cancer, where everyone in the ballpark stands and holds a card with a name of someone they know that has battled or is battling cancer. Freddy Peralta knew exactly who he was going to put on his card. Uecker died on January 16th after a two year battle with small cell lung cancer. Two very fitting and very perfect tributes from the Brewers All Stars to Bob Uecker.
