Five Taylor Swift Albums Rock Back Onto The Same Charts At The Same Time
This week in the U.K., five of Swift's albums return to the sales charts. For most artists, that would mark a career high. For her, it's just another frame, one which yet again highlights her ability to sell, sell, sell.
Five of her full-lengths reappear on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums chart, and she's back in charge of them as well.
The biggest winner this week among Swift's catalog is The Tortured Poets Department. The collection doesn't just bounce back onto the sales tallies, it also returns to the No. 1 spot in the U.K., once again becoming the bestselling album in the nation. It manages to do so as it marks 52 weeks (a full year) on both rosters.
1989 (Taylor's Version) appears lower on the list, landing in the seventies on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. Meanwhile, three other titles — Folklore, Lover, and Midnights — also return to the two rankings, rounding out Swift's impressive quintet of returning bestsellers.
The Tortured Poets Department benefits from a massive uptick in sales, spurred by the album's birthday and the release of signed CDs. The title rockets from No. 24 to No. 1 on the Official Albums chart, which tracks the most consumed collections in the U.K.
It also reappears on the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 82. While not related to purchases, the project lifts several positions on the Official Albums Streaming tally as well, rising back into the top 20 to land at No. 18.
Many of Swift's efforts — including all five returning sales titles, as well as Reputation — also appear on the Official Albums chart and the Official Albums Streaming rankings this week. Two other full-lengths, Fearless (Taylor's Version) and her self-titled debut, which helped launch her to stardom so many years ago, also find space on the Official Country Artists Albums roster.

Taylor Swift Charges 5 Figures For A Minute of Song Usage
Taylor Swift Charges 5 Figures For A Minute of Song Usage originally appeared on Parade. Taylor Swift's music doesn't come cheap, and comedian Marc Maron learned that first hand. On the Thursday, July 24 episode of Vulture's Good One podcast, Maron revealed that the price to license just a minute of Swift's track 'Bigger Than the Whole Sky' for one of his comedy shows was a steep price. 'I think it came out to $50K [or] around that,' Maron, 61, said. 'I did everything I could to get the joke in front of her.' The song appeared in Maron's live shows after he worked with Swift's collaborator, Jack Antonoff, to secure the rights. Maron shared that he had a personal connection to the song, which drove him to include it in his set. 'It had to happen,' he explained. While he didn't know if Swift herself ever heard the bit, he was determined to make it work. 'The real fear is, like, [if] she doesn't let you use it, and then what do you do? You can't do the bit on the special. That's why I was, like, [manifesting] 'I think she'll like the bit.'' 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 After reaching out to Antonoff, Maron learned that securing the track involved navigating the proper licensing channels. The cost, however, was only for a brief moment of the song: "If I would have gone over the minute, it would have been more money," Maron said. The bit ended up being under a minute long, allowing Maron to avoid paying additional fees. 'We couldn't even let it, like, play out the special or anything,' he stated. Maron also discussed his emotional connection to the song, sharing how it deeply moved him. 'It got me, man,' he said, recalling how the song's themes of grief and loss resonated with him. Maron also revealed a surreal moment during a hike where the track made him feel a rush of emotions, leading to a near-fainting incident. Despite the hefty fee, Maron was happy to have secured the song. 'People love Taylor Swift [and] grown-ups, too.' Taylor Swift Reacts to Travis Kelce ‘Happy Gilmore 2' Cameo That Sees Him Slathered in Honey
Taylor Swift loved her boyfriend Travis Kelce's cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, and she has no problem revealing exactly why. Swift, 35, shared the film's poster via her Instagram Story on Friday, July 25, with a caption that only those who have seen the movie will understand. 'Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie!' she wrote underneath. 'An absolute must watch 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanely possible. 🍯.' Yes, that's a honey emoji. For those who haven't seen it, Kelce appears in a dream sequence in which Oscar, played by Bad Bunny, imagines his 'happy place' (IYKYK). Kelce, 35, is there, shirtless, as Oscar covers him in honey. Travis Kelce Is 'Looking for Movie Deals,' Would Do 'Anything' for 'Happy Gilmore' Role 'What is this? Is this about the job? Come on,' Kelce, referring to getting Oscar fired earlier in the film, asks as Oscar seductively slathers the honey over him. A bear then appears and attacks the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as he screams for help. 'I'm happy now,' Oscar says after his fantasy. 'You were thinking about a bear eating that waiter, weren't you? Was there honey involved?' Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) asks with a smile, to which Oscar replies, 'Un poquito,' or, 'a little.' Though the fantasy sequence didn't work out well for Kelce, he has gushed about the opportunity to work on Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to Sandler's 1996 golf comedy, which hit Netflix on Wednesday. Adam Sandler Wanted Travis Kelce to Play His Son in 'Happy Gilmore 2' 'That was a dream come true. I thought SNL was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career,' he said in a January appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. 'Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain.' 'They're so professional and yet so fun to work with. I felt like I was working with, like, the Andy Reid of the acting world,' he added, referring to the Chiefs coach. '[Sandler] is every bit as cool off the screen as he is on the screen. That was a dream come true. That was awesome.' As for Sandler, 58, he joked during an August 2024 episode of Travis and brother Jason Kelce's 'New Heights' podcast that the whole movie came to be because he wanted an excuse to work with Travis. 'We were talking about you playing my son while we were writing it, literally, like, six months ago,' he said. 'We were like, 'Imagine if Travis was my first baby, how funny that would be. Just a badass.'' Happy Gilmore 2 is on Netflix now. Solve the daily Crossword

Travis Kelce Thinks It's ‘So Surreal' He Has Cameo in ‘Happy Gilmore 2' and Reveals Dad Also Does
Travis Kelce had the time of his life filming a brief scene in Happy Gilmore 2. 'Man, this life is crazy!! Still so surreal I got this opportunity,' Kelce, 35, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 25. '@adamsandler SANDMAN!! Thank you brotha, for the opportunity and for giving us all Happy Gilmore 2! Everybody, go check it out right now!' Kelce also shared a handful of behind-the-scenes snaps from set, including several with his dad, Ed. While the Kansas City Chiefs tight end wore his character's waiter uniform, Ed donned a yellow blazer and tie like Happy (Sandler) wears for a dinner with other country club patrons. (In the film, Ed can briefly be seen dining behind Sandler's character.) The film and cameos even impressed the Kelces' inner circle. Adam Sandler Confirms Travis Kelce Cameo in 'Happy Gilmore 2': 'Funny and Cool As Hell' 'LEGENDARY!!!,' Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes commented on Travis' post. Travis' older brother, Jason Kelce, also thoroughly enjoyed the flick. 'Man, 10 minutes into Happy Gilmore 2,' Jason, 37, wrote via X on Friday. 'Absolutely devastating start! How could anyone recover from that?' Not one to be outdone, Happy Gilmore 2 also earned rave reviews from Travis' girlfriend, Taylor Swift. 'Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie!' Swift, 35, wrote via her Instagram Stories, sharing the movie poster. 'An absolute must watch 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanely possible. 🍯.' The honey emoji is likely a subtle nod to Travis' shirtless scene. In a dream sequence, Oscar (Bad Bunny) imagines his 'happy place,' which happens to include slathering Travis' character in honey. Taylor Swift Reacts to Travis Kelce 'Happy Gilmore 2' Cameo That Sees Him Slathered in Honey 'You told [him] that was on me, man? You threw me under the bus? Why, so you could be the hero? You took the knife and stabbed me in my back,' Travis quipped. 'I can't work like this. Watching my six. You mess around, you find out.' Once Travis' character fires Oscar, he imagines his so-called 'happy place.' Oscar fantasizes about tying up Kelce, who is only wearing an apron around his waist, and dumping honey on him. "What is this? Is this about the job? Come on,' Travis adds. Travis had been in disbelief about appearing in the follow-up to Sandler's 1996 movie, Happy Gilmore. 'I thought SNL was going to be the peak of my acting and showman or entertainment career,' Travis said on the Pat McAfee Show in January. 'Working with Happy Gilmore himself, the Sandman and Happy Productions, it was off the chain.' Sandler, meanwhile, has also praised Travis' acting chops. 'We were talking about you playing my son while we were writing it, literally, like, six months ago,' Sandler said while appearing on Travis' 'New Heights' podcast last year. 'We were like, 'Imagine if Travis was my first baby, how funny that would be. Just a badass.'' Happy Gilmore 2 is streaming on Netflix. Solve the daily Crossword
