Corrie's Abi makes her choice in early ITVX release after series of shocks
Abi Webster (Sally Carman) experienced a rollercoaster of emotions in tonight's Coronation Street as she was hit by shock after shock.
Things got off to a bumpy start when she headed into the Rovers with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), and immediately bumped into the one person he had told her to stay away from: Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
With Abi refusing to give him the attention he was after, Carl fixed his sights on Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), which had the desired effect of making Abi jealous.
So much so, that after announcing that Kevin was now cancer free to the Rovers locals, she paid Carl a visit in his hotel room to ensure that Tracy hadn't joined him.
Of course, one thing led to another and the pair ended up under the covers in romantic bliss – until Abi made a horrifying discovery.
After seeing a text from Carl's fellow con-artist Fiona, Abi was horrified to learn that Carl had been using the garage as a base for his MOT scams.
Having stormed home, Abi faced more turmoil when she was blindsided by the announcement that Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) had booked a family holiday.
As soon as Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) was out of earshot, Abi launched into Kevin for putting her in such an awkward position, and making it almost impossible to back out.
Demanding that Kevin tell the kids she will have to stay behind and work, Abi insisted that Kevin and Carl were as bad as each other, before coming clean to Kev about Carl's MOT scam.
However, she was absolutely furious to discover that Kevin already knew about Carl's dodgy dealings, and was refusing to go to the police.
As she attempted to cool off after the row, Abi was approached by Debbie, who revealed that she had decided to give Kevin another chance, before urging Abi to do the same.
It seemed that Debbie had convinced her, as Abi told Kevin that she would go on holiday with them after all, before heading to Carl's hotel to break things off with him. More Trending
However, she faced a further shock when she discovered that Kevin had been covering for Carl in exchange for him keeping quiet about his cancer lie.
With the truth out in the open, Abi and Carl locked lips once again.

Big Brother confirms return to ITV with 'new look' as iconic show celebrates 25 years
ITV has confirmed the return of hit reality show Big Brother with a whole new look, just months after the latest Celebrity Big Brother season took the world by storm Less than 24 hours after the Love Island final, ITV has announced the return of hit reality show Big Brother. The new series marks the third for ITV - with the show originally kicking off in 2000 on Channel 4. The show is expected to kick off this September, with a bunch of hopeful civilians set to have their every move watched by Big Brother for seven weeks, airing on ITV2 and ITVX. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will be back once again - as viewers can expect more new twists and turns, elaborate tasks, intense nominations and live evictions, as the housemates go up against each other in hopes of bagging that all important cash prize. It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. ITV released images of the new look eye colourful eye - and it looks like the cogs are turning. As always, it's thought fans can also look forward to a revamped house to fit with the chosen theme. Spin-off show Big Brother Late and Live will also make a return - with an extra slice of exclusive Big Brother content with fiery debate and hot takes from our celebrity guest panel. For those who can't get enough of their Big Brother fix, the iconic Live Stream will also make a return to screen airing seven nights a week exclusively on ITVX, after the extra drama and gossip of Big Brother Late and Live. Although a set date has not been confirmed for the new series to start, it's expected to kick off on either Sunday September 28 or Monday September 29. The 2024 series saw Ali Bromley walk away victorious, with a whopping 52% of the final vote, making history as the first lesbian winner of the series. More recently, the latest Celebrity Big Brother series took the world by storm when it aired earlier this year, when Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd took home the crown just months before his lavish wedding to Hanni Treweek. However, it wasn't Jack who stole the show, infact, it was former Love Island star Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa. The pair struck up an extremely close friendship - although they insisted they were just that. As soon as they left the famous house, JoJo broke up with her partner Kath Ebbs and she shortly went public with Chris. It's not uncommon for those in the house to begin a romantic relationship, with Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan, striking up a relationship during the 2023 series. However, the couple announced their shock split in April, as Henry shared a statement which read: "After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. "It's incredible sad, and we're both hurting, but we know it's the right step. We're so grateful for the love and support you've shown us - thank you." Henry added: "Please give us some space as we figure things out privately." Jordan also shared his own statement as he sadly wrote: "An unfortunate announcement. After many times, memories, and precious experience, Henry and I have parted ways. "I want to than everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x."

Corrie's Sally Carman-Duttine's strict work rule with co-star husband Joe
Sally Carman-Duttine has garnered plenty of friends throughout her years as Abi Webster in Corrie. But there's one co-star she tries her best to avoid - her own husband, Joe. Sally Carman-Duttine knows how to keep the balance between her work and personal life - by avoiding her husband Joe on the Corrie set. The Coronation Street star has been a regular face on the ITV soap since 2017. So it's no surprise that she's garnered plenty of friends since her debut. Sally Carman-Duttine lists Michael Le Vell, who plays on-screen husband Kevin, Jonathan Howard, who stars as Carl, and Vicky Myers, aka Lisa Swain, as some of her closest friends on the Manchester-based programme. But no matter what she is doing at work, Sally admits there's one co-star she'd rather avoid – her real-life husband Joe Duttine, who portrays cabbie Tim Metcalfe. 'We stay away from each other as much as possible,' Sally says. 'We barely have any scenes together which is exactly the way I want it!' READ MORE: Boots protein powder for bloating shoppers say 'fills them up and takes away cravings' Next week, it looks like Tyrone may be the one to blow their secret wide open. 'Abi's torn because she loves Kevin very much but she's massively in lust with Carl,' Sally says. 'Certainly for Abi, it's turning into love. She's completely blinkered right now. Every bit of her is drawn to Carl. She's so in lust she can't think straight.' In upcoming scenes, Abi throws caution to the wind. She fakes a migraine to escape working in the garage with Kevin – fora daytime meet-up with Carl. The pair end up at the precinct, where Tyrone, played by Alan Halsall, spots them together. But the biggest threat may be closer to home as Kevin and Carl's fiery sister Debbie, starts asking questions. 'There's a lot going on,' Sally, 50, teases. 'Debbie is about to get more involved. There's a lot of interaction where Debbie wants it out in the open. Abi gets it in the neck more than Kevin or Carl.' But it's not just about who finds out about the affair – Abi's marriage is hanging by a fragile thread anyway following Kevin's lies about his cancer. 'There's irreversible damage being done,' she says. 'When it's revealed that Kevin has been lying about having cancer, it'sa really good excuse for her to jump into bed with Carl.' This isn't the first time that Abi has played away. Fans will remember her one-night stand with the late Imran Habeeb back in 2022, which led to the dramatic and premature birth of her son Alfie, now three. But this time hits differently. 'With Imran, it was self-punishment,' says Sally. 'Abi hasn't had a man pursue her like Carl. She's addictedto that kind of adrenaline – she's hook, line and sinker with it.' Caught in the crossfire is Kevin's son Jack (Kyran Bowes). 'Kevin is not shy to put Jack in the middle of it, whether it's helpful to him or not,' Sally says. 'Jack is so confused and hurt. That comes out of anger and there's a lot of backlash.'
