A recent social media post from Saraya has sparked discussion among fans about a potential WWE return. This comes as the company prepares for its second all-women's premium live event, Evolution 2.
Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, left AEW in March of this year. Her status as a free agent has led to speculation about a comeback.
Saraya's Social Media Post
On her X account, Saraya posted a simple question about the upcoming show. "Evolution is this weekend?" she asked.

This led to a wave of fan responses. While some corrected her that the event is next week on July 13th, many others took it as a tease that she will be involved in the show.

Uncertainty Over A WWE Return
Despite the fan excitement, Saraya expressed uncertainty about a return in a recent interview. Speaking on the Grume Rume Show, she said she is shocked fans still want to see her back in WWE.
She noted that while she would love to return one day, she wants to take 2025 to focus on acting and other projects. She also questioned if there was a spot for her in the current locker room.

"The women's roster there right now is stacked," she said. "I don't know if there's even a place for me there right now."
As Paige in WWE, Saraya was a trailblazer, becoming the inaugural NXT Women's Champion and establishing herself as the "Anti-Diva." Her main roster debut is legendary; she won the Divas Championship on her first night.
A two-time champion, her promising career was cut short by a severe neck injury in 2018, forcing her into retirement, where she transitioned into non-wrestling roles like SmackDown General Manager.
After leaving WWE, she made a shocking debut in AEW in 2022 as Saraya. Medically cleared to compete again, she returned to the ring after a nearly five-year absence.
The pinnacle of her run was at All In 2023 in her home country of England, where she won the AEW Women's World Championship in front of over 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium. She parted ways with AEW in March 2025 and is currently on a hiatus from wrestling.

Randy Orton Reveals The Major WWE Backstage Change Under Triple H

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. WWE veteran Randy Orton has revealed a significant positive change in the company's backstage culture, crediting Chief Content Officer Triple H for the new direction. The 14-time world champion shared a specific story that highlights a major shift in the company's priorities under the new leadership. Speaking on the "What's Your Story?" podcast with Stephanie McMahon, Orton discussed how the company now has a "family first" mentality. This is a change he says would have been unheard of in the past. Leading By Example In WWE Orton recalled a recent instance where he learned Triple H was not present at a television taping. When he asked where his boss was, he was told Triple H was attending his daughter Murphy's championship softball game. For Orton, this small act represented a monumental shift in the company's culture. "Just knowing that in the past that never would have happened, and knowing that now it's okay," Orton said (H/T "It's almost like, without even knowing it... he's leading by example." He explained that this leadership gives him confidence that he could also prioritize a major family event without fear of professional repercussions. "There's no question in my mind that if I say 'Hunter... I've got this thing, and... it's very important to me and my family and my kids... that I'm there,' there's no question in my mind that they'll say 'Done,'" Orton stated. "Like that is huge. That's everything." RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA - NOVEMBER 2: Randy Orton enters the arena during Crown Jewel at Mohammed Abdo Arena on November 2, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WWE/Getty Images More news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation Randy Orton's Perspective This cultural shift is especially meaningful coming from a star like Orton, who has been with WWE for 25 years. For decades, the industry was known for its grueling "grind" schedule, where performers often worked through injuries and missed major family milestones. The idea of a top executive, let alone a top talent, missing a TV taping for a family event was often seen as a lack of dedication. Orton himself has recently gained a new perspective after returning from a career-threatening back injury that required spinal fusion surgery. After more than a year away, he understands the importance of life outside the ring, making Triple H's new "family first" approach all the more significant to veterans who have spent their lives on the road. The praise is also powerful given the long and often violent history between Randy Orton and Triple H. Triple H originally brought a young Orton into WWE as his protégé in the Evolution faction, but their relationship famously imploded when Orton won his first World Heavyweight Championship. This led to a years-long, bloody rivalry that was one of the defining feuds of the Ruthless Aggression era. For Orton to now be the one praising Triple H's leadership shows the immense respect that has developed between the two former rivals over their storied careers. Worker Leaves Shoes at Customer's Door—Dog Instantly Claims His Prize

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. What began as a routine workday quickly spiraled into a real-life sitcom for one unlucky worker—whose only mistake was leaving his shoes by the door. In a viral TikTok posted Monday by user @lifeaedean, the man is seen slipping on his one remaining shoe while the culprit—a customer's dog—struts around proudly with the other, having stolen it like a furry little bandit showing off stolen treasure. "Took my shoes off at the door. Came back, dog's nicked my shoe," he says, launching what he jokingly calls "Operation Get My Shoe Back," as he and two others hilariously scramble to reclaim it. While the video had viewers in stitches, the dog's behavior isn't all that unusual. Canines often swipe shoes and socks—but what is it about our smelly footwear that makes it so irresistible? Dogs may take our shoes for several reasons, including teething, boredom, over-stimulation, anxiety, or just demanding attention or play, according to Vet Help Direct. Puppies often chew shoes to soothe their gums when teething, while dogs lacking physical or mental stimulation may act out to get a reaction. Some breeds, like retrievers, are bred to carry things in their mouths, so if you own one, you should remove any shoes from the door when you leave the house. Other dogs, especially those that are anxious or suffer from separation anxiety, might find comfort in your scent. To prevent your dog from chewing off your shoes, you should ensure they get plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation through walks, puzzle toys, and interactive play. You should also teach them commands like "leave" or "swap." It's important that you never chase your dog, as it can reinforce the behavior, making it look like a game. If problems persist, a veterinarian or a qualified animal behaviorist may help you out. The video quickly went viral on TikTok and it has so far received over 262,900 views and 22,900 likes on the platform. This dog didn't just steal a shoe—he stole the show. Leighowens7 said: "My dog did this with a stranger who was carrying a spare pair of boots with her. She missed her train. mortifying is an understatement." HenryParkin added: "I had this with my van keys, spent a good 10 mins searching before the customer realized." Karli Sando said: "The way it's looks at you, it's mocking you." Newsweek reached out to @lifeaedean for comment via TikTok comments. We could not verify the details of the case. Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures of your pet you want to share?
