Following the whole courtroom incident, Mala's career couldn't rise and it led to a devastating end of her cinematic legacy.
On the personal front, Mala Sinha's husband Chidambar Prasad Lohani, who was a known Nepali actor, passed away in 2024. He reportedly took his last breath at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, where he was battling pneumonia and Alzheimer's at the age of 86.
