Police on scene of deadly shooting in south Kansas City
According to the Kansas City Police Department, at about 11:45 a.m., dispatch received a call about a possible shooting near the area of Oak Leaf Drive and Crabapple Lane.
Kansas City police search for missing 12-year-old girl
Dispatch initially said a person had been critically injured in the shooting. However, at about 12:30 p.m., they confirmed the case had developed into a homicide.
