The Dallas Cowboys were able to both pick for depth and fill a hole at No. 76with East Carolina cornerback Shavon Revel Jr.

Revel fell to the third round due to an ACL injury sustained in September; otherwise, the consensus is that he would have been a first-round pick.
The 6-3, 193-pounder posted three interceptions in two years as a starter in college and added 12 pass deflections in 2023.
USA Today's Bucs Wire predicted each team's biggest surprise from this year's draft, and picked Revel for the Dallas Cowboys.
"The team was ecstatic to see Revel fall to the second round in April's draft, but didn't pull the trigger. Somehow, he made it to the third round," K.D. Drummond with Cowboys Wire wrote. "With Dallas clearly looking to end their investment in Trevon Diggs, Revel will be given every possible chance to prove he's a capable boundary corner once he's given the green light following his ACL recovery, that might delay his debut until October.

"Once he makes it to the field, though, fans shouldn't be surprised if he's one of the better rookie DBs in the game."
Dallas lost Jourdan Lewis in free agency and Trevon Diggs has his own injury questions after suffering an ACL injury for the second season in a row.
DaRon Bland is entering the final year of his contract also making his future in Dallas uncertain.
Across three seasons at East Carolina, Revel posted 70 combined tackles with 37 solo and five for loss. He added a sack, three interceptions, including a pick-6, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Sting Ray Robb's trailer catches fire on interstate after Iowa doubleheader. What we know

Sting Ray Robb crashed out of the second race at Iowa Speedway during IndyCar's doubleheader weekend. And his hauler caught fire on the way home, the team announced. It was a tough IndyCar weekend for Sting Ray Robb and his No. 77 Juncos Hollinger Racing team at Iowa Speedway, and it continued on the drive back to the team's shop. A video surfaced on social media Sunday evening of the Juncos Hollinger trailer stopped with firetrucks behind it. The team confirmed Monday that the trailer caught fire. "Our hauler caught fire on I-74 while heading back to the shop," the statement read. "It was a scary moment for the team, but, thankfully everyone is safe, and that's what matters most. "We've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, messages, and well wishes from fans, fellow teams, IndyCar officials, and the entire racing community. It's a reminder of the incredible family we have in the sport." The team said it did not yet know the damage, seemingly leaving the possibility it may not be ready for on-track action Friday in Toronto. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle. "We're assessing the damage and will be working hard to get back on track," the team said. Robb finished 22nd in Saturday's Synk 275 to start the doubleheader weekend after he qualified 24th (178.885 mph). He then finished 23rd in Sunday's Farm to Finish 275 after crashing on Lap 50. He also qualified 24th (177.683 mph).

'Not the End of the Story:' An Even Crazier Corvette ZR1X Could Still Happen

With 1,250 horsepower from a hybridized V-8, the new ZR1X is the pinnacle of the C8 Corvette—the culmination of all things possible. At least, so we thought. Even as the fastest, quickest, and most powerful performance car the company has ever produced, Chevrolet seemingly isn't satisfied. In a recent interview with Top Gear , chief engineer Tony Roma hinted at the possibility of an even more ridiculous Corvette down the line. "The ZR1X is not the end of the story," he says, "it's just the latest chapter." 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Photo by: Chevrolet While not an outright confirmation that Chevy is working on a more potent ZR1 or ZR1X, Roma's quotes do indicate that the company is at least exploring ways to extract even more out of the C8 platform. One thing that Roma does say, though, is that he and his team want to make sure that the ZR1X is even faster than the standard ZR1, which hit 233 miles per hour at the ATP Automotive Testing facility in Papenburg, Germany, earlier this year. He said: 'I think we are going to continue to make the car faster for those bragging rights, because our customers appreciate that. It's the same with any performance car manufacturer—we push each other with Nürburgring lap times for that reason.' As of yet, Chevrolet hasn't topped out the ZR1X. But the company is confident it should exceed the ZR1's 233-mph speed. As for the Nurburgring, Ford currently holds the fastest lap time for an American car, with the Mustang GTD lapping the Green Hell in 6 minutes, 52.072 seconds. Chevrolet has that record in its sights with the ZR1X. "We've done some testing, and all I can say is… stay tuned," Roma tells Top Gear . "We want to be the fastest American car—that's an accolade we'd love to have. Again, it comes down to theory. None of our customers will go and run a sub-seven-minute lap time, but they want to know if they could." We'll definitely stay tuned, indeed. Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins accused of domestic violence in South Florida, court records show

Cleveland Browns rookie Quinshon Judkins woke up in a South Florida jail this weekend after an alleged domestic violence case last week, according to court records. According to records obtained by CBS News Miami, the NFL running back was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery on Saturday and appeared in bond court on Sunday. During his hearing, the judge found probable cause and ordered Judkins not to be in contact with the victim, no firearm access, and set his bond to $2,500. However, his attorney, David Weinstein, disagreed with the judge. "Your honor, I think the state's overstating the facts," he said during the hearing. "It's alleged that there's an incident that occurred." CBS News Miami had a crew outside the Broward County Main Jail, where he was held, and saw him walk out on Sunday afternoon. Judkins did not respond to questioning as he walked out. In a preliminary statement to CBS News Miami, the Browns said that they are aware of Judkins' arrest and "gathering more information" about the incident. According to WBNS, CBS News' affiliate in Columbus, Ohio, Judkins played for The Ohio State University from 2024 to 2025 before entering the NFL Draft, where the Browns drafted him with the 36th overall pick. During his time at Ohio State, he helped the Buckeyes win the national championship, scoring three touchdowns against the University of Notre Dame in the final. Judkins is currently entering his first season in the NFL with Cleveland, WBNS reported. The Browns' rookies are supposed to report to training camp on Friday, but it's unclear at this time whether Judkins will be there. CBS News Miami has reached out to police for more information and Judkins' attorney for a request for comment. A delayed battery report leads to an arrest The alleged incident happened on July 7 after the victim had left the airport but did not report it until Saturday, according to records revealed during Judkins' bond court hearing. Weinstein said during the hearing that Judkins and the victim were previously in a relationship but came to South Florida "as friends." But after the alleged incident, she stayed with him in Fort Lauderdale for five additional days and celebrated her birthday. It was not until after that the victim reported the incident, court records revealed. Around 9 a.m. Saturday, Fort Lauderdale Police said it responded to the area near 1500 W. Cypress Creek Rd. regarding a "delayed battery." Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and determined a battery had occurred during their preliminary investigation, FLPD said. Officers then made contact with Judkins and placed him into custody before he was taken to BSO Main Jail and was charged accordingly. "Well, the [arrest affidavit] suggests that there are photos and bruising," Weinstein said during the hearing. "There's no proof as to when those bruises took place, when the photos were taken." No further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident were released at this time.
