BLACKPINK's Rosé yearns for Alex Warren's love in On My Mind music video, watch soulful collaboration
The song explores themes of longing, emotional distance, and the ache of separation. Built around a soft yet compelling melody, On My Mind delivers a haunting chorus that stays with listeners long after the final note. Rosé 's delicate, emotive vocals blend seamlessly with Warren's rich tone, creating a duet that's both soothing and striking.
A pre-release that's already making waves
The release of On My Mind comes ahead of the official launch of Alex Warren 's new album, You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 2). It is slated to drop on July 18, 2025. As a pre-release single, the track has already begun gaining massive attention. The song also sets the tone for what's expected to be an emotionally resonant album.
In the days leading up to the release, Rosé and Warren shared a series of teasers. They include behind-the-scenes clips and playful content that highlights their creative chemistry. From goofy clips to candid moments in the studio, their lighthearted approach to promotions had fans even more eager to hear the full version.
Visuals that amplify the emotion
The official music video for On My Mind is being widely praised for its cinematic storytelling and atmospheric direction. Depicting moments of longing, near connection, and reflective solitude, the MV visually mirrors the song's lyrical core.
Within minutes of its release, hashtags related to the song and MV began trending worldwide. Fans are sharing clips, lyrics, and emotional reactions across TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
A milestone year for both artists
The collaboration is yet another highlight in what's proving to be a stellar year for both Rosé and Alex Warren. Warren's career has skyrocketed in 2025, thanks in part to his viral hit Ordinary, which just completed its third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rising singer-songwriter has been gaining recognition for his raw storytelling and emotional depth. It's a style that pairs perfectly with Rosé's signature vulnerability.
Meanwhile, Rosé made history earlier this year with her duet APT., alongside Bruno Mars. The track peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female K-pop artist in 2025 to land in the chart's top five.

Kannappa Box Office Day 5: Vishnu Manchu's Film Struggles, Mints Rs 27 Crore
Last Updated: Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, despite mixed reviews, has collected ₹27 crore at the box office in 5 days, according to Kannappa Box Office Collections Day 5: Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa may have ridden in with sky-high expectations and the promise of a grand mythological spectacle, but five days in, the numbers are telling a slightly different story. Despite a strong start, the film has been facing an uphill climb at the box office. Released to mixed reviews, Kannappa opened decently and drew attention for its larger-than-life visuals. But the momentum seems to be slowing down. According to the latest report by the film has managed to collect Rs 27 crore in its first five days. While not a disaster by any means, it's clear that the film is struggling to hold on to audiences post the opening weekend. As per early estimates, Kannappa collected Rs 1.75 crore on its fifth day, marking the film's lowest single-day collection so far. After a strong opening weekend, the film has seen a noticeable dip in numbers. Kannappa had kicked off with Rs 9.35 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 7.15 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.9 crore on Sunday. However, Monday saw a sharp drop with Rs 2.3 crore coming in. With Tuesday's earnings, the total box office collection now stands at Rs 27.45 crore. On Tuesday, Kannappa recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of just 14.13 per cent. On Monday, Vishnu Manchu took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a concerning update about Kannappa. The actor revealed that the film has become a victim of piracy, with over 30,000 illegal links already taken down. In a note, he wrote, 'Kannappa is under attack from piracy. This is heartbreaking. Piracy is theft — plain and simple. We don't teach our children to steal. Watching pirated content is no different. Please don't encourage it. Support cinema the right way." Kannappa was released in multiple languages — Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi — but it's the Telugu version that has performed the best so far at the box office. Kannappa is a big moment in Vishnu Manchu's career. It's already his highest-grossing film so far. His earlier releases like Ginna and Mosagallu didn't even manage to touch Rs 1 crore in their entire run. The last time Vishnu had a solid opening was back in 2014 with Rowdy, which made Rs 3 crore on Day 1 and wrapped up its first week at around Rs 11 crore. A review by News18 of Kannappa read, 'The whole sequence and the visual effects are superbly done, an example of how far our cinema has evolved technologically. Back in the day, the same scene would've involved golden cardboard arrows moving at less than 24 frames per second. One arrow would spew fire, the opponent's would quench it with water. If one turned into a snake, the other would become its predator, an eagle. Mukesh Kumar Singh's Kannappa isn't weighed down by such age-old silliness. Here, the fight sequences and visuals look rich. However, if one were to read out the dialogues of Kannappa and any devotional film from the past one after the other, it would be hard to discern which is from 2025 and which is not." HYBE America is witnessing some major shakeups, as Scooter Braun, the CEO of the subsidiary, released a joint statement announcing his withdrawal from the position on July 1. The news dropped just hours after BTS, HYBE's K-pop powerhouse, announced their full group comeback following their military return. Braun, however, isn't leaving entirely, he's stepping into a new role as senior advisor and board member. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the update came during an internal call with employees on July 1, where Braun, dialling in from vacation, confirmed that the shift had been 'in the works for quite some time.' For years, Braun has been a controversial figure in the music industry. His ties with Korea's biggest K-pop agency have also drawn heat from Korean netizens and BTS fans, with some even calling for boycotts over political and artist-related issues, especially considering his rocky history with artists like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, among others. Also read: BTS' Suga warns 'the market's not the same' as group confirms 2026 comeback and tour In 2021, HYBE CEO and chairman Bang Si Hyuk announced his collaboration with Braun after the latter's Ithaca Holdings LLC was sold to the company. It was a strategic move by the Korean music mogul to expand overseas activities and debut new groups aimed at the American market, like the girl group Katseye, with whom Braun is still very much involved. 'I'm not going anywhere,' Braun reportedly told staff. 'I'll still help guide the artists.' However, with this shift, his management era is officially over, closing a big chapter of his career, one that first kicked off with names like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and J Balvin. HYBE is now going forward with Isaac Lee, former chairman of HYBE Latin America, as the new CEO of HYBE America. Lee will be in charge of handling U.S. operations, including Big Machine Label Group and Quality Control Media Holdings. Chairman Bang is a true visionary and a musical genius. What he has built with HYBE is unparalleled. I am incredibly proud of our collective accomplishments and look forward to supporting Chairman Bang and CEO Jason Jaesang Lee in their continued success as I step into what's next.' Meanwhile, Bang also released a statement praising Braun and said, 'Scooter has been an extraordinary partner, a visionary executive, and a true catalyst for cultural exchange. His contributions have been vital in establishing our ambitious presence in the U.S. market. I am deeply grateful for his leadership, his astute instincts and his unwavering passion for artists. We wish him immense success in his exciting next chapter and look forward to continuing our partnership in executing HYBE's global vision.' Scooter Braun recently made headlines for his split with Bieber after reports emerged about a $20 million financial fallout due to the cancelled Justice tour. While fans may wonder if his exit is tied to controversies, for now, he is still in the mix, just no longer calling the shots as CEO.
