Special app to be developed for professional Srivari Sevaks
He conducted a review meeting on Monday at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala, along with JEO Veerabrahmam, focusing on professional volunteer services in Srivari Seva.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that under the instructions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, a framework is being developed to utilise the services of professional experts across the globe in 10 key departments of TTD through Srivari Seva. He further said that the services of technical experts will also be utilised in various technical departments. Based on the requirements of each department, necessary actions will be taken to engage them through Srivari Seva.
He emphasized the need to make use of global professional expertise to improve the functioning of TTD in the coming days and also instructed that local approvals should be obtained to ensure the implementation process runs smoothly without issues. Adding further, he said that the initiative will be launched initially on a pilot basis and later implemented on a full scale. Addl EO stated that a clear procedural framework will soon be established to convert this initiative into a sustainable system.
SVIMS director Dr R V Kumar, BIRRD director Dr Jagadeesh, chief engineer Satyanarayana, IT GM Sesha Reddy, deputy EOs Rajendra, Somannarayana, CMO Dr Narmada, DEO Venkata Sunil, director Gosala Srinivasulu, HDPP secretary Sriram Raghunath and other officials attended the meeting.

Foundation laid for a LPG storage facility for TTD
In a significant step towards strengthening infrastructure to meet the long-term energy needs of the hill temple, Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Trust Board B.R. Naidu on Thursday performed 'Bhoomi Puja' for setting up a state-of-the-art 45 metric tonne LPG storage facility at Tirumala. The facility being developed on the outer ring road, in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹8.13 crore in over 1.86 acres of land and completed in six months. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Naidu said that the IOCL has been a consistent supplier of LPG to the TTD since the past two decades and has now entered into a 30-year fresh agreement to ensure uninterrupted supply of LPG which he said will be primarily used in the preparation of the famed Tirumala laddu prasadam and at its daily Annadanam (community meals) complex and added that the initiative is expected to save a projected ₹1.5 crore annually in operational costs. IOCL Marketing Director V. Satish Kumar highlighted the corporation's ongoing commitment to sustainable practices. 'IOCL is already constructing a ₹12.05 crore bio-gas plant near the Tirumala dumping yard. Of the 55 tonnes of wet waste generated daily, 40 tonnes will be diverted to this new facility, which shall generate around 1,000 kilograms of bio-gas every day,' he explained. Several advanced safety and operational features will be incorporated at the LPG storage plant like — a 45 MT mounted storage vessels, 1,500 kg vaporizer, firefighting systems with sprinklers, dual water tanks, diesel generator, remote operating valves, gas leakage detection alarms, tanker decantation systems, CCTV surveillance, Gas Management System (GMS), Terminal Facility Monitoring System (TFMS) and Integrated Level Safety Device (ILSD). Also present at the event were TTD Chief Engineer TVV Satyanarayana and officials from both TTD and IOCL.

TTD chairman Naidu rules out hike in Common Good Fund
TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu on Wednesday categorically stated that the Board is not prepared to increase contributions to the Common Good Fund (CGF). In an interview with TNIE, Naidu said, 'the Endowments Department has issued a notice to TTD to raise its CGF contribution from the existing Rs 40 crore or contribute up to 9% of TTD's revenue. We are opposing this. There is no scope for increasing the CGF,' the Chairman affirmed. 'In 2022, the State Government handed over the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) to TTD. In the last board meeting, we resolved to recruit 499 medical and paramedical staff, which will incur wage expenses of Rs 141 crore annually—up from the earlier Rs 68 crore,' the TTD Chirman added. He further said, 'In addition, we are administering several educational institutions, providing recurring grants to universities, colleges, schools, and welfare organisations, and maintaining roads and providing other facilities in Tirupati. Considering all these responsibilities, increasing the CGF is not feasible.' Aadhaar verification for TTD services approved The Chairman announced that TTD has received permission from the Centre to verify Aadhaar cards while devotees avail of its services. 'Our request for Aadhaar verification has been approved. The verification fee will be Rs 0.70 per transaction,and transactions will be conducted through an authorised link,' he said.

TTD Announces Tirumala Darshan and Room Booking Dates for October
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has officially unveiled the schedule for the release of Tirumala Srivari Darshan and room quotas for the month of October. The ticket release dates are as follows: - Arjitha Seva tickets will be available online from 10 am on July 19. - E-Seva Lucky Dip registration is open until 10 am on July 21, with payment for Lucky Dip tickets accepted until noon on July 23. - The special services ticket release, including Kalyanotsavam, Oonjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Sahasradeepalankara Seva, and Pushpayagam, will begin at 10 am on July 22. - Angapradakshina tokens will be released on July 23 at 10 am. - The Srivani Trust online quota will become available on July 23 at 11 am. - Free special darshan for the elderly, disabled, and chronically ill individuals will be offered from 3 pm on July 23. - Special entry darshan tickets priced at Rs. 300 will be released on July 24 at 10 am. - Room bookings for Tirumala and Tirupati will commence on July 24 at 3 pm.
