Gallery: Olly Murs dazzles the crowd at Llangollen Pavilion
It was a joy to watch, and remembering Olly's first audition for UK talent show The X Factor - I'm not sure where the 15-years have gone!
After chatting to one of Britain's biggest and best-loved stars a couple of months ago, I knew Olly was excited to visit the festival, and Llangollen, for the first time, following in the footsteps of dear friend and colleague Tom Jones after last year.
And it certainly was the 90-minutes of pure hits that he promised, with an overwhelming sense of nostalgia and good vibes all round.
The cheeky 41-year-old got everyone moving with performances of Army of Two, Please Don't Let Me Go, Marry Me, Dear Darlin', Heat Skips a Beat, Wrapped Up and Save Me - his brand new single.
And of course, Olly couldn't leave the stage without the favourite get-up-and-move tune, Dance With Me Tonight. The evening truly ended on a high and we loved every second.
Earlier in the evening, crowds were treated to multi-award-winning singer-songwriter Lemar and rising boyband Absnt Mind who opened the show.
Both acts were beyond impressive, generated a real buzz and enthusiasm for the night ahead.
TK Maxx presents Live at Llangollen Pavilion concludes on Saturday with final headliners The Human League.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock makes Wimbledon fashion statement ahead of music comeback
Leigh-Anne Pinnock donned a strappy summer dress to attend the 2025 women's singles final match at Wimbledon on Saturday - as the countdown to her new single release continues Leigh-Anne Pinnock took inspiration from tennis whites to dress for Wimbledon on Saturday as she joined a string of celebs to watch the women's singles finals. Tennis fever was high as America's Amanda Anisimova prepared to take on Poland's Iga Swiatek in a high stakes match for the title. Little Mix icon Leigh-Anne looked elegant and composed as she arrived at the All England Club to watch all the sporting action. She arrived wearing a light and airy summer dress, and was joined by her mum, Debbie, who also sported a white outfit. Leigh-Anne attended the Evian Mountain Of Youth VIP Suite ahead of the tennis match starting, and relaxed behind the scenes while goofing around with giant pink tennis balls and posed with a tennis racket. She matched her dress with a strappy pair of white heels and had her hair tied up in a commanding style. The singer joined other stars including Maya Jama, Katherine Jenkins and Hayley Atwell, at Wimbledon as the 2025 women's champion was set to be crowned. Leigh-Anne was attending the sporting event as she prepares to launch her latest single as a solo star. She first burst into the spotlight as a contestant on The X Factor, where she formed Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall. Jesy quit the band in 202,0 and the remaining members began a band hiatus in 2022, leaving them free to pursue solo ventures. Leigh-Anne released her first single, Don't Say Love, in 2023, and this was followed by the EP No Hard Feelings the following year. She has now been teasing her next single, which is the lead of her rumoured debut full solo album. Sharing artwork for her new single over the past week, Leigh-Annd wrote on Instagram: "BEEN A MINUTE out next Friday, 18th July." And she excitedly added: "Damn, that feels so good to finally say," while encouraging her fans to pre-save the new single. The announcement sparked a frenzy of excitement from fans who expressed joy over the fact that she will soon be releasing new material. In May this year, Leigh-Anne announced she had partnered with Virgin Music Group as an independent artist, after splitting from Warner Records, who will release her new music. In an Instagram clip teasing her new music, Leigh-Anne wrote: "Control looks good on me" as Virgin posted in the comments with a string of heart emojis. Leigh-Anne replied back: "Let's go." Telling her 9.9 million followers that "something beautiful is on the way", the mum-of-two - who shares twin girls with her footballer husband Andre Gray - also shared a selfie to her Instagram stories as she posed with a drink in the sunshine and captioned it: "Cheers to a Leigh-Anne summer." In another smiling selfie she said it was "what freedom looks like". Giving fans an update in a voice note to fans on the Discord platform, the singer said: "Seriously guys I've been wanting to tell so much what was happening, but yeah obviously the process of changing over has been... yeah that's what has obviously taken time. But yeah obviously we are here - need you guys to stay with me, it is coming. But I just wanted you guys to know it is going to be a Leigh-Anne summer and y'all better get ready." In March last year the Mirror revealed Warner Records had refused to fork out for a video shoot to accompany her track Stealin Love - after her previous solo singles Don't Say Love and My Love got only a lukewarm response. Insiders claimed the singer had to put some of her own money into her solo career after failing to get the funds she needed. One said: "There was so much excitement around Leigh-Anne's solo career, but that seemed to wane after the first two tracks."

Rylan Clark shares his biggest regret in heartbreaking divorce admission
Rylan Clark first found fame on The X Factor but has since had quite the showbiz career, often appearing on This Morning and Gogglebox Rylan Clark has made a heartbreaking divorce admission four years after his split. The TV presenter broke up with his husband Dan Neal back in 2021 after six years of marriage. The 36-year-old has been open about the reason for their split, with Rylan admitting that he was unfaithful to his ex-husband early on into their relationship – not expecting his husband would leave him when he confessed in 2021. Four years after the heartbreaking split, he has now spoken candidly about the difficult time that he experience afterwards. Rylan opened up on the latest episode of his own podcast where he was chatting to Love Island star Tasha Ghouri. On the How to Be... podcast, he said: "When I went through my divorce, I had a full-on breakdown because it wasn't just us. "It felt like it wasn't just us, even though it was just me and my ex. I felt that everyone's going to think this of me. Everyone's going to think, 'Oh look, his life isn't perfect. Oh look, he's failed like that.' I just felt like a failure." As he was talking about the difficult break up, he still acknowledged that it was still the "right thing to happen". This isn't the first time that Rylan has talked about his marriage on his podcast. He was chatting to Stephen Fry as he explained: "We got married in 2015. That same year, yeah. So it would have been my 10 year anniversary this year." Stephen then asked if Rylan felt any kind of responsibility to represent gay marriage as an LGBTQ+ celebrity. He asked: "But did you feel also that - when it broke up and you were divorced – did you feel that there was in some sense you were letting down the idea of gay marriage, because we have a duty to show that our marriages are as robust and strong as any heterosexual?" Rylan said: "There was part of me that just felt like a complete and utter failure. I felt like I'd failed personally, but I felt like I'd found publicly on behalf of - the gays! You know, I'm not, I'm not 'head gay', it's not that." TV star Rylan admitted he cheated on Dan during their relationship which was ultimately the cause of the downfall of their marriage. Dan decided to end the relationship after Rylan had come clean about being unfaithful earlier on in their romance. Rylan found that he was having suicidal thoughts after the split and he dropped down to just nine stone in weight. He discussed the challenging times in his second autobiography, TEN: The Decade That Changed My Future. In the book, he wrote reflection and said: "I got in a relationship quite young and just went with it. Now I know I'm my own person. I'm not going to settle for something that's not right. In a way it's been a bit of a gift. "I'm happy to have sex with someone and that's that, that's not a problem. But do I want more? Of course I want more. Am I going to enjoy myself on the way? Abso-f***ing-lutely." *If you're struggling and need to talk, the Samaritans operate a free helpline open 24/7 on 116 123. Will Smith discovers surprising Welsh connections
Hollywood star and rapper Will Smith has dropped the mic for Wales after discovering some surprising Welsh connections. "I'm Welsh," declared the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor after finding out Bryn Mawr, a suburb of Philadelphia where his mum still has a home, was named by Welsh Quaker settlers in the late 17th established a community in the west of the city and many Welsh place names remain, including one where the Grammy-award winning artist was raised. "That might be my new name. Welsh Smith. I'm gonna be Welsh Smith," he told Lucy Owen on BBC Radio Wales. Smith also grew up in nearby Wynnefield - named after a Welsh physician, Dr Thomas Wynne. The star was stunned to learn of the connections. Bryn Mawr means big hill in Welsh, and he added: "Big Will lives in big hill. This is crazy." Smith performs at Cardiff Castle on 25 August, just a few days after Welsh legend Sir Tom called him "magnificent", remembering a cameo appearance from Sir Tom in his hit 90s sitcom the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In 1993 he appeared as a guardian angel to Carlton, a cousin and friend to Smith's character. Smith said Sir Tom had an "iconic energy" that everybody wishes they had."When he walked on to the set it was one of the most amazing things," he said. "Carlton's character loves Sir Tom. "When he walked out, you get that thing when the audience recognises what is happening, it was one of the classic moments on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. "It was beautiful."Smith hinted he would be paying tribute to Sir Tom during his Cardiff gig."Yeah, there's a part in my show where we celebrate his connection to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air." Smith has just released his first full-length album in 20 years, called Based on a True Story. He said the last few years for him had been about "introspection and growth", something reflected in his is three years since Smith hit the headlines after slapping comic Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. He later apologised. Writing the new album, he said, led to him "looking deeper at the reality of who and what I am"."I let myself talk from places and write from places and create from places within me that I've been scared of... places that have been repressed and I call the energies, the despicable prisoners," he said. "You know, those parts of myself that are not necessarily for Instagram. Those spaces that aren't necessarily for the BBC."Smith said he will be performing a mix of his new and old material in the UK. In the Welsh capital, with his newly-discovered connections to the country, fans might even hear the Fresh Prince speak a little of the language. Welsh Smith as he is calling himself, has been trying to learn a few phrases.
