Travis Kelce opens up on next steps — and when he will make 2026 plans
Many people believed that Kelce, 35, might retire after the Chiefs' Super Bowl loss to the Eagles, but he announced at the end of February in a text to Pat McAfee that he would 'for sure' be playing in 2025.
With many questions about what Kelce's future might look like beyond this season, he answered some on the 'Bussin' With the Boys' podcast on Monday.

When asked about plans post-2025, Kelce made sure to reiterate that his focus is still just on this season.
'I know that I got one on the contract, and a hell of a f–king team. We got a lot of f–king talent, and I'm pumped for it.' Kelce said.
The Chiefs come into this season after falling short of a third straight Super Bowl win, and the team will be in for a challenge in what's shaping up to be a loaded AFC.
Kelce also revealed that his decision to retire — or not — will not be announced immediately at the end of the 2025 season.
He reached the Pro Bowl for the 10th time this past season, though he recorded 823 receiving yards, the lowest full-season total of his career.

'I don't know what I'm gonna feel like in March and April next year when I make that decision, or I try and figure out what's next for me,' Kelce said.
As for his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift, Kelce shot down any notion that the two look to 'seek attention.'

'We're having fun with it,' Kelce said. 'It gets thrown out there, like we're trying to seek attention every now and then. We're just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kind of introducing her to some more of the sports world.'
Kelce will start his 13th season in Brazil when the Chiefs take on the Chargers on Sept. 5.

Giants' two Super Bowl teams ranked as the worst of the 21st century
Where do the New York Giants' Super Bowl XLII and XLVI teams rank among the 25 teams that have won the big game since 2000? 24th and 25th, that's where. In a recent listing from Bleacher Report, the Giants' two upset victories over Tom Brady and Bill Belichick's New England Patriots don't measure up to the rest of this centuries' other NFL championships. 25. 2011 New York Giants Pros: Behind a legendary pass rush, they dethroned the Patriots for the second time in a four-year span. Cons: They are the only team on this list with just nine regular-season wins and a negative scoring margin (minus-6). Despite that pass rush, only the 2018 Patriots gave up more yards per play (5.62), and Jason Pierre-Paul was their only first-team All-Pro. 24. 2007 New York Giants Pros: They slayed the then-18-0 Patriots in one of the biggest upsets in NFL history. Cons: They were only one win better than the 2011 team at 10-6, and their plus-22 regular-season scoring margin ranks second-last among the 25 teams on this list. They were also a horrendous 1-5 against teams with winning records, and they outscored their four playoff opponents by just 20 total points. They had just one Pro Bowler (Osi Umenyiora) and no first-team All-Pros. It's hard to argue with some of the cons here. The Giants were not dominant in the regular season in either year, making the Super Bowl behind two incredible postseason runs. played just one of those eight postseason games at home, which was omitted from these rankings. Among the victories were wins in Dallas, Green Bay and San Francisco. No cred for any of those?

NFL Network's annual America's Game marathon continues to skip Jon Gruden, Rich Dalrymple episodes
The ice has thawed between the Buccaneers and former coach Jon Gruden, who is back in the team's Ring of Honor. The ice remains solid between the league and Gruden. On America's birthday, NFL Network televises a marathon of the America's Game series. Each episode consists of a one-hour look at every Super Bowl champion — starting with the 1966 Packers and culminating with the 2023 Chiefs. (The newest episode, focusing on the 2024 Eagles, has yet to be released.) As noted by Tyler Dunne of the 58-volume library includes only 56. Two are omitted — and they have been, dating back to 2022. Still gone is the episode devoted to the 2002 Buccaneers (featuring Gruden). He was forced to resign as coach of the Raiders during the 2021 season after emails he'd sent years earlier were leaked from the files of an investigation into the Washington franchise. He has a lawsuit still pending against the league and Commissioner Roger Goodell. Also omitted is the 1995 Cowboys edition, which is narrated by former P.R. chief Rich Dalrymple. He resigned abruptly in 2022. Not long after he made his exit, he was linked to not one but two incidents of alleged voyeurism. Allegations that he secretly recorded the Cowboys' cheerleaders in their locker room reportedly resulted in a $2.4 million settlement. Tune in next year, to see if the 2002 Bucs and 1995 'Boys get left out. Until then, you can watch the Gruden episode here, and the Dalrymple one here.
