Bandi distributes 20,000 cycles to Class 10 students
He informed that the district Collector Pamela Satpathy gave the idea of distributing the bicycles to students. The Collector proposed that it would be a good idea to give bicycles to girls under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme. The Union Minister asked the owners of some corporate companies to give some of the money they earn under the CSR fund, they responded positively and provided the funds and with him bought and distributed bicycles.
He told the students that he too grew up in poverty like them since childhood. 'I was born and raised here in Kapuwada. My parents worked very hard to provide education. Being a person who knows hardships and difficulties students are facing, the bicycles are being distributed' he said.
'Very soon 'Modi Kits' will be distributed. Whether there are thousands or lakhs of people, all will be distributed Modi Kits. As long as I am an MP, I will distribute bicycles to all the students studying in Class 10 every year. I will also distribute Modi Kits' Bandi Sanjay said.
Teacher MLC Malka Komaraiah said that the Bandi Sanjay bicycle distribution programme is an ideal for all. Other public representatives have also taken inspiration and followed the idea of distributing bicycles to students across the country.
District Collector Pamela Satpati said that it is a great thing to distribute 20,000 bicycles to all the students studying in tenth class in government schools.
Karimnagar Police Commissioner Ghaus Alam said this is a very great programme. It is commendable to make it happen so quickly, he said and congratulated the Union Minister.

State BJP president Samik Bhattacharya on Saturday alleged that Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters in Khejuri area of Purba Medinipur district brutally beat and killed two BJP workers using bamboo sticks, on Friday, likening the incident to 'Maoist-style violence'. Madhya Pradesh BJP MP Rajesh Mishra has courted controversy after accusing a pregnant woman from his constituency, who demanded a motorable road to her village in Sidhi district, of seeking social media fame, while also offering to make arrangements for her delivery. Earlier this week, Leela Sahu, a Bagheli content creator from Khaddi Khurd village, had shared a video on social media featuring herself and seven other pregnant women, highlighting their demand for a road connecting their village to a town 10 km away, which they said has the closest medical facility. Ms. Sahu, who has over 11 lakh subscribers on YouTube and four lakh followers on Facebook, has since shared multiple videos showing the village's muddy road conditions, vehicles stuck in the mud, and locals locals demanding improvements. In one of her videos, Ms. Sahu, who claimed she was nine months pregnant, addressed the MP, asking him who would be held responsible if any of the pregnant women encountered difficulties due to the village's poor road conditions. Ms. Sahu claimed that after she raised the issue through her videos last year, seeking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's intervention, Mr. Mishra assured her that the road would be built within a year. However, she alleged that despite this promise, no progress has been made on the project. 'If you did not have the courage to build the road, then why did you make the promise? 'We have ambulances and other facilities. We have ASHA workers. We will make arrangements for the delivery. Come and get admitted to a hospital if there is a problem. Each delivery has an expected date. We will get them picked up a week before that. Our government gives all facilities, including food and water. This is why I feel it's not right to put this [pregnancy] in front to talk about such things. If someone wants to get famous on social media, then you can do anything for it. This thing will happen in every village then,' he said. On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh's Public Works Department Minister Rakesh Singh had stated that while many people make demands through social media, it's not feasible for the department to start construction work immediately. 'If someone puts a post on social media, do you think that the PWD has enough budget that we reach there with a dumper to make the road? This is not possible,' Mr. Singh had said. 'Shameful comments' State Congress president Jitu Patwari termed Mr. Mishra's remarks 'shameful and filled with arrogance'. 'The woman is being asked her delivery date so that she can be taken to hospital from her house, but the road was not built,' he said in a video statement.

TMC demands apology from Himanta for ‘writing Bengali as mother tongue' remark
Amid allegations by migrant workers from West Bengal of being targeted in BJP-ruled States, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Saturday raised objection to remarks by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma that 'writing Bengali as mother tongue in the Census documents will quantify the number of foreigners in Assam'. 'Where does this hatred stem from? Why this contempt for Bengalis and Bangla?' the TMC wrote in a social media post. Mr. Sarma had said on Friday that people who seek to replace Assamese with Bengali in the electoral rolls would help the government get an idea about the number of 'foreigners' in the State. The TMC in a series of social media posts said the Assam Chief Minister has made an 'outrageous claim'. 'Let's remind him: our National Anthem is in Bengali. Our National Song is in Bengali. So when Himanta sings 'Jana Gana Mana' or 'Vande Mataram', does he automatically become an illegal Bangladeshi? By his own twisted logic, shouldn't his citizenship now be questioned?' the party said. The remarks came days after a Foreigners' Tribunal in Assam issued a notice to Uttam Kumar Brajabasi, a resident of Dinhata in Cooch Behar, declaring him an 'illegal migrant'. While the TMC and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said Mr. Brajabasi was a resident of the State, the Assam CM said 'Brajabasi is not a citizen of Bengal, where he went temporarily. He is a citizen of Assam'. TMC leader Sushmita Dev accused Mr. Sarma of 'divisive politics and racial profiling'. 'Bengali is the 7th most spoken language in the world. Yet, under BJP's rule, Bengali-speaking Indians are subjected to racial profiling, targeted harassment, and systematic persecution. By branding Bengalis as 'illegal Bangladeshis', the Assam CM has disgraced the very office he holds. He must apologise immediately,' Ms. Dev said.
