The character was first introduced to Emmerdale viewers earlier this year when he befriended April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), during her stint
Despite caring for April and becoming good friends, her dad
,
was not a fan on Dylan and resorted to planting drugs on Dylan in a desperate bid to force him out of April's life.
But his plan backfired dramatically when Dylan ended up overdosing and left to attend rehab.
Emmerdale producers revealed earlier this month that Dylan would be returning to the village, but Amelia, who plays April on the soap gave a hint when exactly fans can expect to see him again.

"April has had an incredibly tough year with what she has been through, with the pregnancy and the homelessness storyline," she told
"April and Dylan didn't leave things on the best terms, but I think what is important now is that he's back."
Amelia added: "Who knows what will happen. It will be great to explore that relationship further, I think fans want to see that which is great."
It's been a big week for Amelia who took out the gong for Best Young Performer at Thursday's British Soap Awards.

Four ways to boost your chances of winning massive EuroMillions prizes as £84million up for grabs TONIGHT
We also reveal the numbers that YOU should be picking and whether picking birthday numbers ever works WIN BIG Four ways to boost your chances of winning massive EuroMillions prizes as £84million up for grabs TONIGHT WINNING the lottery is everyone's fantasy - but what are the tactics behind picking the winning numbers? Lottery Guy, a top expert and blogger, has exclusively revealed his top tips to boost your chances of winning with Sun readers. 3 A massive £84million is up for grabs in the jackpot tonight Credit: Getty 3 From picking 'unpopular' numbers to avoiding birthday numbers, we explain how to boost your chances of winning Credit: Getty He chooses to remain anonymous but has been running his blog, Lottery Guy, since 2004, where he dishes out lottery tips to help players win big. There have been some mega lottery prizes up for grabs recently, including the whopping £208 million EuroMillions jackpot that was won by one lucky Irish ticket holder. The lucky player now has a bank balance bigger than superstars Adele and Dua Lipa. The EuroMillions winning numbers were: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 and the Lucky Stars are: 03, 05. Meanwhile, tonight's jackpot is set at £84million. Of course, the only real way of boosting your chances of winning is to buy more tickets, but make sure you gamble responsibly. Avoid birthday numbers You must pick five main numbers between 1-50 for your EuroMillions ticket. You must also pick two "lucky star" numbers from 1-12. It may be tempting to pick yours and your loved one's birthday dates as your main numbers with the hope they bring you luck. But the Lottery Guy said it's best to avoid this tactic. That's because there will be a greater number of people picking numbers 1-31. "Avoiding these numbers doesn't increase your chance of winning, but if you do win, you're much less likely to split the prize with other winners." Three of the five winning main numbers for the £250million EuroMillions winning ticket were birthday date numbers. They were: 13, 22 and 23. Pick 'unpopular' numbers Statistically, each number has an equal chance of winning, which means there are no "lucky" numbers you can pick to boost your chances. But Lottery Guy said a good idea would be to pick "unpopular" numbers in your ticket. Unpopular numbers are those which run from 32-50, because they fall outside of the birthday date numbers. It makes sense to choose these numbers, because fewer players will be picking them. That means that if you win a share of the winnings, there will be fewer people with the same unpopular numbers on their ticket. "If you do win, you're much less likely to split the prize with other winners," he said. Two of the numbers on the winning £250million EuroMillions ticket were "unpopular" numbers. These were 44 and 49. 3 Join a syndicate A lottery syndicate is when a group of people club together and put money into a pot for lottery tickets. One person will be in charge of buying the tickets and sharing out winnings. They are called the syndicate manager. Joining one could be a good idea, said Lottery Guy. "A syndicate does increase your chance of winning something because you're usually buying a lot more tickets," he said. "But obviously your share of any prize is smaller - although it's still great for a big rollover jackpot." The syndicate manager will need to register the group and list themselves as the person in charge with The National Lottery. It's really important to write all the terms and conditions of your syndicate agreement down. Get each person to sign it, so that if there is any confusion or squabbles over splitting the money, you can refer back to the agreement. I won £115million in the EuroMillions lottery - here's how I spent it WINNING the EuroMillions was a dream come true for Frances and Patrick Connolly. The couple, from Moira, Northern Ireland, were gobsmacked when they scooped £115million back in 2019. But it wasn't a luxury supercar or a mansion that they splurged on first - they shared nearly £58million between 50 friends and family. Frances said last year that she and husband Patrick have donated £60million since their life-changing win. 'That's £60million-worth of love," she said. "And the thing that makes me even happier is that every single person we gave money to has passed some of it on to other people. I can't think of a day since winning the Lottery that I haven't smiled." They've also made some splurges of their own. Patrick has swapped his old Renault Laguna for a new £30,000 Alfa Romeo Giulia. He also gifted Frances with her dream car - although it came with a much more modest price tag - a £2,000 X-Type Jaguar. "If I had any advice for a winner, I'd say money liberates you to be the person that you want to be." Which day to play You have to be in it to win it, so if you want the chance of scooping a jackpot, you must buy a ticket. But certain days are better than others to buy a ticket. Lottery Guy said Tuesday is actually the best day to buy a ticket over Friday. He said: "With EuroMillions, Friday is the much more popular day, so you've got more competition on a Friday. "Consider focusing on the Tuesday draw if you want to keep more of that jackpot for yourself." And remember, only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and set a spending limit before you play. Love Island 2025 winners crowned during season 12 final
Toni Laites and Cacherel 'Cach' Mercer have been crowned the winners of ITV's Love Island 2025. The first American bombshell on the UK reality TV series and the professional dancer beat Shakira Khan, 22, from Burnley, and footballer Harry Cooksley, 30, who came second. Electrical engineer Jamie Rhodes, 26, came third with commercial banking executive Yasmin Pettet, 24, while Angel Swift, a 26-year-old aesthetics practitioner who entered the villa as a bombshell, came in fourth place with site engineer Ty Isherwood, 23. Host Maya Jama revealed the winning couple for season 12 of the reality dating show during Monday night's live final. After their names were called, Toni embraced Cach before she thanked the British public for voting for them. Prior to the reveal Toni confirmed that Cach told her he loved her the night before – and that she had said it back. Along with the 2025 title, the couple also took home a £50,000 cash prize. Earlier in the episode the Love Island couples exchanged emotional words to one another. Toni, who was visibly emotional when making her speech, told Cach: 'I don't think I tell you enough, but the way you treat me has made this whole wacky ass experience worth it. 'I think everyone has seen how happy you've made me, and I feel like a different person. I'm just really thankful to be here with you. 'I don't think anyone's ever treated me as good as you do so thank you. You make me feel like a queen.' Cach replied: 'I'm proud of you. You're gonna make me cry. You're so unapologetically yourself. It makes it so easy for you to operate the way I operate. 'I feel like our journey has been a roller coaster. I'm grateful for every moment. 'I don't think I could have done it with anybody else, to be honest with you, and I appreciate you.' Shakira told Harry that he was 'everything' she could want in a partner. She added: 'It's been an amazing last week and I'm excited for the future.' Harry replied and said: 'People say days are like weeks in here, but it really felt like I've known you a lifetime, and I'm so excited for the future, and I'll make so much time for you on the outside. 'My priorities have definitely shifted. You are my priority in life right now, so long may that continue.' Yasmin told Jamie that he became her 'sense of calm'. 'I don't tell you enough, but I'm so genuinely appreciative of you and everything you've done for me in here because my journey would be so, so shit without you,' she added. Jamie replied: 'Every day, I get a feeling of wanting to be around you more and more and knowing that this journey is coming to an end, that we won't be able to spend every second with each other, it's gonna make me really miss this place, but I know that on the outside world, we've got some great things coming.' Angel recalled having a 'spark' with Ty from the very beginning, adding that he is 'so thoughtful'. She said: 'I can't wait for outside life with you. I literally couldn't be happier.' Ty replied: 'I want to thank you and the Love Island gods for sending you in. 'I kind of didn't know where I was, and kind of lost myself a bit. I couldn't find my feet and I feel like you came at the perfect time.' Previous Love Island winners have included Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti (Season 8), Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer (Season 4), Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies (Season 3), who have since split up. Couples who, despite not winning, remain together include Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen (Season 2), Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury (Season 5) and Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack (Season 8).
