Emmerdale fans have been pondering over who Belle Dingle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) new love interest might be. The beloved character is currently enjoying single life after a horrific ordeal involving Tom King (James Chase). When Tom and Belle got together, it wasn't long until we started to see signs of controlling behaviour from him. At first, Tom's actions were small, but he then became hellbent on isolating Belle from her entire family. Over the next year, Tom was responsible for installing security cameras in the house, tracking Belle's every movement, physically and mentally abusing her, as well as pretending her dog Piper had died in an attempt to get close to her again. Belle eventually reported Tom and he was sent to prison for three years. In February of this year, Belle decided she would begin divorce proceedings, but it meant visiting Tom in prison. ITV has announced another major schedule shakeup as the soaps are pulled off air. There were 6 suspects for who the Gloved Hand Killer was, and the killer's identity was revealed in October 2015. It was revealed to be doctor Lindsey Butterfield who had been killing people at the hospital.

Emmerdale star confirms fan favourite's return after months off-screen
A FAN favourite on Emmerdale is making a long-anticipated return. Dylan Penders, played by Fred Kettle, will be returning to ITV screens soon after months off the show. But his plan backfired dramatically when Dylan ended up overdosing and left to attend rehab. Emmerdale producers revealed earlier this month that Dylan would be returning to the village, but Amelia, who plays April on the soap gave a hint when exactly fans can expect to see him again. Emmerdale's Geoff Dignan has filmed his final soap scenes
Geoff Dignan, who plays Aidan Moore, has seen his character suffer at the hands of villain John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) in recent weeks. Fans were left shocked as John, who was previously engaged to Aidan, visited him at hospital and told him how he planned to kill him. Aidan woke from his coma to hear John, and the stress caused him to suffer a cardiac arrest and go back into a coma. Although he didn't die, fans were left wondering if his days in the Dales were numbered.
