She was added to several Telegram groups, where tasks were assigned. Meena Reddy later sent a trading account registration link via a URL. She filled in her details on this link. Later, she was instructed to contact Rajesh Verma for further guidance on task completion and commissions. A Telegram link led to the account of Rajesh Verma. Through similar methods, she was introduced to several other individuals, including Rohit Sharma, Lucky Singh, and Ravi Patel, each time through Telegram links. The accused, by gaining her trust through staged task payments and referrals, allegedly defrauded a total of Rs 20.6 lakh across various accounts and have not returned the money. A case was registered at the Bajpe police station.
