Zeze, Mosquera and Ordonez named as Liverpool targets
First is Nathan Zeze, the 19-year-old Nantes central defender who plays for France under-21s. It's not the first time the Reds have been linked with Zeze, who is tied to his hometown club until 2028.

Next the report names Cristhian Mosquera - the Valencia stopper who features for Spain under-21s. The 21-year-old is a Valencia homegrown talent but has only got a contract with Los Che until 2026.
Then there's Joel Ordonez. The Ecuadorian has been a revelation since moving to European football with Club Brugge. The 21-year-old already has got 82 matches under his belt for the Belgians and was a mainstay in their Champions League fixtures last season.
Colwill back on the Liverpool shortlist
Other contenders named in the report include Ousmane Diomande, the Sporting CP defender who is set to command a big fee if he moves this summer.

The club also admire Jorrel Hato, according to the report, and that tallies with a report last week from Duncan Castles on The Transfers Podcast.
However, the latest suggestions appear to indicate Arsenal have stolen a march on the Reds for the 19-year-old Dutchman.
Rounding off the report is a mention of Levi Colwill. It's no secret that Chelsea are seeking centre-backs this summer. Although the 22-year-old played plenty last season for Enzo Maresca, he could be squeezed out this summer.
Liverpool have been linked with Colwill in the past, who can play either left-back or centre-back.

Advertisement Cristian Chivu has now had close to a month in charge of Inter Milan. That has been enough time for the 44-year-old to really start to get the squad familiar with his methods in training. And according to the Gazzetta there have been clear differences from the way that Simone Inzaghi trained the squad. However, the newspaper explain, Chivu likes to work and chat with players more one-on-one. As the Gazzetta note, the 44-year-old has brought back Stefano Rapetti to be the athletic coach. Part of the new regime has been more work in the gym before training. Chivu hopes to use more strength training to avoid injuries. Then, the sessions are more intense, and longer by about a half an hour. These ninety-minute sessions are meant to get the squad ready for a more high-pressing approach, the Gazzetta reports.

'No wonder Real Madrid are delighted' – Liverpool chief reacts to Trent Alexander-Arnold exit

In the last couple of months, there has been a lot of reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold swapping Liverpool for Real Madrid. The defender joined Los Blancos at the start of this month for a fee of €10m, and he has already played three times for his new club at the Club World Cup. Alexander-Arnold, who has since revealed his reasoning behind making the move, has attracted strong criticism from Liverpool supporters, but the president of the Premier League champions has not joined in on this. Liverpool president gives thoughts on Trent departure Speaking to Liverpool Echo (via Diario AS), Tom Werner gave his thoughts on the matter, explaining that he does not hold the decision against Alexander-Arnold. Advertisement 'We respect the fact that Trent wanted to move on. I recently told someone this story. I saw Trent on the final weekend of the season with Billy Hogan (Liverpool CEO) and I just wanted him to know personally that as a club, we are grateful to him for his contributions. He showed me a photo from when he was seven years old and he was in the quarry. I have a lot of affection for everything he has done. Now it's time for him to move on and for us to look for his replacement.' Image via Emilee Chinn – FIFA/FIFA via Getty Images Werner also reacted to the fans' frustrations with Alexander-Arnold choosing to run down his contract before joining Real Madrid. Advertisement 'I understand the feelings of the Liverpool fans and their disappointment. We are disappointed too, but that is overshadowed by the wonderful memories I have of him. I will never forget that corner he took against Barcelona. It was a masterpiece. As a football fan, seeing his assists, his passes… No wonder Real Madrid are delighted!' It has been a mixed start to life at Real Madrid for Alexander-Arnold, who has started a new chapter in his career. For €10m, it is certainly a very good piece of business for Los Blancos, who will hope that he continues his Liverpool form with them.
