Watch: Apple TV+ drops trailer for documentary series 'The Wild Ones'
June 5 (UPI) -- Apple TV+ released a trailer for upcoming documentary series The Wild Ones, which features a team of wildlife experts traveling to some of the most remote locations in the world to find endangered animals.
The trailer, released Thursday, introduces expedition leader Aldo Kane, camera trap specialist Declan Burley and cinematographer Vianet Djenguet as they adventure to locations rarely visited by other humans.
"Our mission: to find and film some of the most endangered animals on the planet and help scientists save them," Kane, a former Royal Marines Commando, says in the trailer.
The six-part series will see the team venture to Malaysia, Mongolia, Armenia, Indonesia, Canada and Gabon to capture rare video footage of animals including the Malayan tiger, Gobi bear, Caucasian leopard, Javan rhino, North Atlantic right whale and Western lowland gorilla.
The Wild Ones is produced by Offspring Films (Earth At Night In Color, Earthsounds) and executive produced by Alex Williamson and Isla Robertson.
The first episode of the six-part series premieres July 11 on Apple TV+.

The streamer announced that the couple will helm Age of Attraction, which features participants between 22 and 59 years of age. "In this new dating experiment, it simply does not matter how many candles were on your last birthday cake or how few wrinkles have formed on your forehead," an official synopsis reads. "Age is thrown out the window as singles search for their soulmates with help from hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy." Viall, 44, is nearly two decades older than Joy, 26. They married in April of 2024, two months after their daughter River Rose Viall was born. In March, Joy shared that she was experiencing a second miscarriage. The couple had been dating about four years prior to marriage. Viall is well known for appearing in two seasons of The Bachelorette, where he courted Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe. He proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi after his season of The Bachelor, but the relationship didn't last, and he starred in Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise.

Beyoncé And Kendrick Lamar To Face-Off At 2025 Emmy Awards
Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar are competing for new additions to their respective lists of accolades after transforming sporting events into historical musical moments. The Houston singer's Beyoncé Bowl special is up for multiple 2025 Emmy Award categories, directly opposed to Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl LIX halftime show. Both performances will compete for Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Variety Special (Live). Other nominees across either category include Doechii's 2025 Grammy Awards performance, the 2025 Oscars tribute to Quincy Jones, and the SNL50: The Anniversary Special. Queen Bey could also potentially win her first Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special and Outstanding Variety Special (Live) at the 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards. Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl show is also nominated here; however, it is directed by Hamish Hamilton. The GNX performer could also potentially take Outstanding Music Direction. Beyoncé Bowl is also up for Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special. Notably, Charm La Donna is nominated for her choreography work in both Beyoncé Bowl and Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl LIX halftime show. Additional highlights across the nominees include Tramell Tillman earning a Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his standout role in Apple TV+'s Severance. If he wins, Tillman will become the first Black actor to take the category in the Television Academy's history to take the trophy Also making history is Ayo Edebiri is the first woman to be nominated in the same year for acting and directing in a comedy series for her work in The Bear. Listen: Katseye releases new version of 'Monster High's' 'Fright Song'

File Photo by Greg Grudt/UPI | License Photo July 18 (UPI) -- Girl group Katseye is teaming up with Mattel's Monster High, beginning with a new version of "Fright Song," the Monster High theme song. A music video features Katseye members Sophia, Lara, Megan, Yoonchae and Manon dressed as mythical creatures from their different cultures. Megan portrays the Huli Jing, a fox spirit, while Lara is the shapeshifter Rakshasa, Daniela portrays a werewolf and Sophia plays the vampire known as Manananggal. Yoonchae portrays Jangsanbeom, or the white tiger, while Manon represents a sea monster. They perform in various high school hallways and by lockers. The collaboration also features dolls for each of the Katseye members. "Katseye embodies our core values of Monster High -- bold creativity, fearless self-expression and a commitment to lifting up others. Katseye grew up as fans of the brand. We're thrilled that this collaboration brings our iconic Monster High anthem to life in a whole new way, while continuing our mission to create a world where everyone is proud to be their authentic self," said Mattel executive Krista Berger, in a statement, per Deadline. The Monster High TV series starring Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Courtney Lin and Iris Menas aired on Nickelodeon from 2022 to 2024. Katseye dropped the album Beautiful Chaos in June, which contains five songs. They recently released music videos for the songs "...Gnarly" and "Gabriela," which both appear on the EP.
