Amanda Seyfried: Paramount owes me for Mean Girls merch
The 39-year-old actress - who played Karen Smith in the 2004 movie - loves the enduring popularity of the teen comedy but admitted she feels "a little resentful" because her fact appears on so many T-shirts and she doesn't get any royalties for the use of her likeness.
Asked if she has rewatched the film, she told Adam Brody for Variety's Actors on Actors series: "No. It's on often enough though. I love it. I really love seeing my face on people's T-shirts.
"I'm a little resentful because Paramount still owes me some money for the likeness. Every store sells Mean Girls T-shirts with our faces.
Amanda questioned if she missed out on extra revenue because she was young and "dumb" when she signed her contract for the film.
She said: "Don't I [get something from that]? Is it because I was 17 and dumb? Or is it..?' "
But Amanda is always grateful when she meets fans of the film.
She said: "Even the girl at TSA tells me it's her favourite movie. I'm like, 'Great! I had nothing to do with it, I was 17...'"
Meanwhile, the Mamma Mia star - who has two children with husband Thomas Sadoski - thinks she is "allergic" to marijuana, though she had some enjoyable times consuming the drug with Adam.
Reminiscing about visiting a beach when they filmed 'Jennifer's Body', she said: "I don't know if I could do pot again. I think I'm allergic to it. I had some bad experiences.
"But I remember that being the most peaceful. That was probably the last time. I might have also gotten stoned with you at your house that I now own.
"I think the only time I've enjoyed pot was with you, so thank you. You have an effect on people. Look at what's happening: You're in a hit show, and people are gasping, 'Adam Brody'."
The Nobody Wants This star quipped: "I don't think it's pot-related."
Amanda agreed: "No, it's just that you make people feel at ease."
Adam said: "I really appreciate that, I think because I'm pretty attuned to people's discomfort because I'm in touch with my own, so I don't think I'm a bad host in that way."

10 News+ struggles to reach highs of The Project in first week on-air
Building a viewership seldom happens overnight, but early signs for Channel 10's bold new current affairs program aren't looking great. 10 News+ debuted on Monday, filling the void left after The Project was axed following 16 years on-air. Helmed by former Seven journalists Amelia Brace and Denham Hitchcock, the show tails the network's 5pm local bulletins, giving viewers an in-depth report on the day's biggest stories from 6pm. When announcing the new program, Paramount Australia's Vice President News Martin White said the offering was 'completely different to anything else in the market.' And while intrigue bolstered opening night ratings, with an average national broadcast audience of 291,000 tuning in on Monday evening, the show had almost halved its TV viewership by week's end. On Tuesday evening, 10 News+ recorded an average of 244,000 viewers, before attracting 205,000 on Wednesday and 159,000 on Thursday. Friday numbers dipped again with an average audience of 152,000. Numbers were far more promising when factoring in on-demand views, including on 10 Play, with a total reach of 769,000 on Monday, 743,000 on Tuesday, 586,000 on Wednesday, 468,000 on Thursday and 655,000 on Friday. However, most concerning among Ten executives would be the fall in figures from The Project' s final episode on June 27, in which an average of 478,000 (873,000 total) people tuned in. The network doubled down on its step to try something new, saying their bid to entice viewers to 10News+ would be a 'marathon, not a sprint.' A spokesperson said the network was 'taking a long-term, multi-platform view of audience development.' 'Building a loyal news audience takes time, and we are prepared for gradual growth as audiences discover and connect with our unique approach to news delivery across many platforms,' the statement said. '10 is fully committed to 10 News+. This is a marathon, not a sprint. We are investing in building a sustainable, quality multi-platform news service that will grow and evolve with our audience's needs over time.' Meanwhile, former Project co-host Georgie Tunny officially joined the 10 News+ team from Thursday, just shy of a week since her teary goodbye on the panel. 'I've always been a fan of news delivered differently and am excited to be staying with the 10 family,' Tunny said. 'Can't wait to see where this new chapter leads!' The journalist, who began her career at the ABC, joined Ten after Carrie Bickmore took extended leave from The Project in early 2022.

Amanda Kloots' heavy grief' five years after death of husband
Amanda Kloots has spoken of her unending grief, five years after losing her husband Nick Cordero. Nick was just 41 when he died on July 5, 2020, following a battle with COVID and his wife Amanda, 43, admitted her grief is still 'heavy' years later. She wrote on Instagram: 'I would have never thought that my grief would still be this heavy five years after losing Nick, but now I know: it will never be lighter - and I've come to terms with that. 'If I can offer anyone advice about grief, it's this: Know that grief becomes the shadow that follows you wherever you go. So—become its friend … 'It's the friend you never wanted—but one of the closest relationships you'll ever have with yourself.' She also shared her sadness that Nick only got 10 months with their son Elvis, who she calls Nick's 'twin'. She said: 'Babes. Damn, I miss you. 'I miss seeing you. I miss your voice. I miss walking beside you and holding your hand. I miss your laugh, your music, your phrases… I even miss that annoying sound you made when you'd push air through your teeth. 'I miss seeing you as a dad. I miss cheering you on. There are still so many days when I can't believe you're not here - that you're gone. It doesn't feel real. 'Thank you for the years you gave me and for our amazing son. He's your twin, and you would've loved every single second of him. I feel guilty that I get to raise him when you only had 10 months. It's not fair. He's beautiful. He's the best. He's you.' However, Amanda tries follow the mantra of Nick's song Live Your Life. She explained: 'Nick left me with one of the greatest gifts - the title of his song: LIVE YOUR LIFE. On hard grief days, I say to myself, 'What would Nick want me to do?' LIVE YOUR LIFE, AMANDA. 'I didn't realize what an impact his song would have on me after he was gone, but his words of wisdom have stayed with me, guided me, and helped me through grief.'

Lena Dunham chose to 'step back' from acting
Lena Dunham chose to "step back" from acting because she was tired of having her appearance "dissected". The 39-year-old star made a conscious decision to focus on writing and directing after she struggled to deal with scrutiny about her appearance. Lena told The Independent: "Having my body dissected was a reason that I chose in general to step back from acting a little bit more and focus on my writing and my directing, and also just make different kinds of choices as an actor." Lena's new TV show, Too Much, actually explores a lot of the issues that she's encountered in her own life. The actress said: "It's about your appetite for food, your appetite for life, your wants, your needs, your desires, and it comes in lots of forms, whether you're told you're 'too much' or 'messy' or 'needy' or 'a lot'. What's ironic is that calling someone 'too much' is a really easy way to diminish them." Lena created the hit HBO series Girls, which ran from 2012 until 2017. However, the actress actually struggled to enjoy her success during her younger years. She explained: "For all the Girls premieres I was in my twenties, so I was terrified and anxious. So just being able to actually enjoy it this time and be present was really nice." Lena previously revealed that she wants Too Much to spread a message of "love and hope". The show follows a girl who moves from the US to London following a break-up, and Lena gave fans an insight into what they can expect. She told Variety: "We're going for the girlies who pulled a geographic after a break-up. We've been shooting for three weeks and it's been an amazing experience." Lena hopes the show will help to spread some positive vibes. She said: "I just love a woman in crisis getting what she deserves in the good way. And so that's what we're going for with that show. "Also, speaking of this time in the world, trying to make something that's loving and joyful and still hopefully sharp and incisive and all the naughty scenes that people are used to from me, but with a kind of underlying, underpinned message of love and hope."
