Liverpool's 2025-26 kits celebrate tradition with new touches
The new jerseys were officially revealed on Friday at Anfield, with both designs now set to lead the club into their title defence.
The German sportswear giant becomes Liverpool's kit supplier for the third time in the club's history. The partnership began in 1985 and lasted until 1996, during which the Reds won three First Division titles.
The two brands reunited again from 2006 to 2012, securing both the FA Cup and League Cup during that spell.
The home kit, marking the start of this latest era, opts for a classic look. The geometric patterns and yellow accents from last season's design have been replaced by a bold, straightforward red shirt with simple white trim.
The design is reminiscent of the popular Adidas home shirt from 2006 to 2008, with the white piping that outlines the torso giving it a vintage feel.
Liverpool's away kit, while somewhat understated, continues to reflect the club's rich history. The white jersey features simple red and black detailing, but it's the subtler touches that stand out.
The iconic Liver Bird crest has been reimagined to resemble the roof arch of the Main Stand at Anfield, which stood proudly at the heart of the stadium in the early 1900s.
The 2025-26 kits also carry meaningful tributes. Both shirts feature the "97" Hillsborough flame emblem, honouring the lives lost in 1989.
In addition, fans will be able to add a tribute to Diogo Jota, with a special decal of his No. 20 shirt number available for replica shirts. All proceeds from this gesture will support the LFC Foundation, which is planning to create a grassroots football project in Jota's name.
The new strips will make their on-pitch debut in August, with the home kit set to be worn in Liverpool's upcoming friendlies against Athletic Club at Anfield.
The away kit will make its first appearance during the Community Shield against Crystal Palace at Wembley the following week.
With these new designs, Liverpool is gearing up for another strong season, both on and off the pitch, as they aim to defend their Premier League title and make a statement with their refreshed look.

United cruise over Bournemouth in EPL friendly
Manchester United made it two wins out of two with a 4-1 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer Series pre-season tournament in Chicago on Wednesday. Goals from Rasmus Hojlund, Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo and teenager Ethan Williams sealed an encouraging result for Ruben Amorim's side at a rainy, windswept Soldier Field. United, who had opened their tour with a 2-1 victory over West Ham on Saturday, were always in control against the Cherries, taking the lead after just eight minutes through Hojlund. Dorgu curled in an inviting cross from the left flank and Denmark international team-mate Hojlund timed his run and jump to perfection to glance a header past Bournemouth goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic. Dorgu then doubled United's lead in the 25th minute, latching on to a clever, lofted quick free-kick from Mason Mount, muscling his way into the area and sliding a cool finish beneath the advancing Petrovic. Diallo bundled in United's third in the 53rd minute before Amorim made nine changes with 20 minutes to go.
