
Lane closures expected on section of Highway 400 this weekend
Starting on Friday at 10 p.m., Highway 400 will see two lanes closed overnight heading northbound near Innisfil Beach Road to allow for construction on the northbound highway re-alignment.
The Ministry of Transportation said the area will see one lane reopen during the day in that same area.
All access from Innisfil Beach Road to Highway 400 northbound will be closed during this time with a detour in place.
The Ministry stated that all lanes are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.

Fuel and fertilizer spill over the roadway in Perth County crash

CTV NEWS/BARRIE Clean up is underway after fuel and fertilizer spilled across a Perth County roadway following a crash involving a tractor trailer. Emergency responders were called to Road 164 around 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The collision involved a tractor trailer and an SUV. During the crash, the tractor trailer rolled onto its side and spilled fuel and fertilizer over the roadway. Road 164 between Line 42 and Line 46 was closed. Police expected the closure to last for several hours. Both drivers were assessed at the crash site and one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
