CBB fans fume minutes into the final as they're 'fed up' of 'annoying' element

Daily Mirror25-04-2025
After almost three weeks, Celebrity Big Brother's 2025 series is coming to an end with the ITV show set to crown its winner during an explosive live final - but fans have been left unimpressed minutes into the show
Celebrity Big Brother fans have rushed to complain about the ITV show minutes into the final. Viewers hit out at the music being played during the first two evictions which saw Chris Hughes and Chesney Hawkes.
"Stop playing sh** f**king music over the evictions. The crowd is there and booing/cheering for a reason. They want to be heard. S**t," one fumed. Another agreed: "They've borrowed the emotional music from the X factor and BGT and I'm just waiting for Susan Boyle to sing us out and Simon Cowell to press the golden buzzer."

"NOONE NEEDS THIS S**T MUSIC PLAYING OVER THE EMOTIONAL SCENES. ITS S***. WHOEVER DID THIS I HATE YOU," someone else echoed. And another said: "100% dude, I don't get why ITV are so obsessed with putting music throughout the show. This isn't Love Island, TOWIE etc. We went 11 years without background music on Channel 4 and it was perfect then so don't need it now."

After almost three weeks in the iconic house, the ITV show revealed which of the six semi-finalists had received the most votes from the pubic with an extra-long episode. While the series began with 13 housemates, one particular star didn't make it to the end of the first week - with Mickey Rourke being asked to leave after a number of incidents within the house.
Big Brother gave Mickey a formal warning for using homophobic language towards JoJo Siwa on his second day in the competition and by day six, we had been asked to leave.
The Hollywood star was kicked out after six days in the house for "further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour". It came after the 72-year-old aggressively confronted Chris Hughes during a pirate task and called him a "c***" and made a sexually crude comment to Ella Rae Wise.
After Tuesday's triple eviction, just six housemates remained in the Celebrity Big Brother house: Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, Jack P. Shepherd and JoJo Siwa.

Unfortunately, Angellica Bell, Patsy Palmer and Ella Rae Wise narrowly missed out on places in the final, with the trio being evicted during the show's triple elimination on Tuesday.
In the run-up to tonight's final, there has been a lot of discussion among fans around Chris and JoJo's relationship after the pair grew close on the show.
Earlier in the week, fans slammed Chris on social media after catching him plant a kiss on JoJo's head while they bathed in the hot tub on the livestream. "I don't care what anyone says anymore!!!! Chris and JoJo's relationship and how they act with one another is so inappropriate. Imagine JoJo's girlfriend watching this. She's not going to be okay with this behaviour," one fan fumed.

Meanwhile, Chris reportedly walked away from his role on ITV Racing ahead of entering the CBB house. The former Love Island star had previously been involved in co-hosting race meetings such as the Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
An insider revealed: "Chris had a dream job on ITV Racing, but things turned sour after his ITV wouldn't up his pay. He wasn't paid what he thought he was owed. He had a great rapport with Oli in the Social Stable, and ITV Racing viewers have been left wondering where he went."

The 60-year-old comedian fronted the ITV comedy clip series - which saw Harry make jokes relating to the previous week's hottest TV shows, with episodes also featuring sketches and parodied scenes - from 2001 until it ended in 2012. ‌ And whilst Harry thinks he would not succeed in re-creating the award-winning show, the star is open for someone to replace him in reviving the programme. ‌ In an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine, he said: "I don't have any plans [to bring back Harry Hill's TV Burp]. "These things are best left undone. We did all the jokes. Trying to re-create that, I'd be on a hiding to nothing, but I'd love someone else to do it. "There's a space for that sort of show and I'm surprised no one's filled it." Article continues below The Knitted Character was a recurring character in many series of Harry Hill's TV Burp until it was replaced with Mr. Fluffy in series 11. And Harry said the Knitted Character does not want the "weekly stress" of the show either if it came back. Speaking about the Knitted Character - who appears in Harry's new live show New Bits and Greatest Hits - he said: "He's in my live show. He comes on at the end as part of the badger parade, riding on the back of a heron. ‌ "Blink and you'll miss him because he's only tiny, but he's still working. "Knitted Character is older and wiser now. He doesn't necessarily want the stress of a weekly show, either." The comic - who married artist Magda Archer in 1996 - binged-watched property shows, such as Homes Under the Hammer and EastEnders, for Harry Hill's TV Burp, and now he gets annoyed by them if he tries to tune in. ‌ He quipped: "I used to watch them all for TV Burp, so they're a bit triggering, which is unfortunate because they're the only shows my wife watches." Harry - whose real name is Matthew Hall - said the sketch comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus is what inspired him as a child to become a comedian. He explained: "Brucey [Forsyth], Eric [Morecambe] and Ernie [Wise] and The Two Ronnies [Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett] were big in our house, but what really got me was Monty Python's Flying Circus. Article continues below "The problem was, my dad decided what was on, and at 9pm, he wanted to watch the news on BBC One. "I wanted to watch Not the Nine O'Clock News on BBC Two. We'd sneak it on, turn the sound down and hope he wouldn't realise what the time was."

The 48-year-old actor has been over to the UK a lot over the past two decades during his time as a WWE superstar, and he's embraced the local cuisine to the point that he went for a very traditional meal before Tuesday's (01.07.25) Heads of State world premiere in London. ‌ Appearing on ITV daytime show This Morning, he said: "I enjoyed [fish and chips] so much that right before our premiere last night, we had about 90 minutes and myself and my two friends, all from America, we sat down, we ordered fish and chips, we had a pint, and that got us ready for the world premiere." ‌ John - who revealed he went for vinegar and a little bit of dunking in the tartar sauce" - got more of a taste for a chippy after the dish plays a role in his new movie with Idris Elba. The Hollywood star also opened up on his admiration for a "savoury breakfast", which he learned to love during his early WWE days. Article continues below He added: "All savoury! In America, we tend to lean on the sweet. It's all very filling, but very sweet. Boy, do I love a savoury breakfast! "I've been a fan of the English breakfast for a long time - you gotta remember, with WWE, I've being coming over here for 25 years." Although the lines between real life and art have been blurred with his food preferences, John insisted that won't be the case after he played the President of the United States in the new action comedy. He quipped: "I am playing the role of the president of the United States. I would much rather play the role of President of the United States than BE the President of the United States. I'm happy in my lane!" Article continues below When This Morning host Ben Shephard joked that real life president Donald Trump often appears to be playing a role too, the wrestling legend kept his response diplomatic. He teased: "I allow everybody to have their own perspective of that. I'm just really excited for our movie, and that's my way of weaving around that."
