Hollyoaks scandal as Jez and Liberty's affair is exposed - in an unexpected way
The controversial relationship, which kicked off earlier this year, has received quite a reaction from fans, with Liberty dressing up as her dead mum – Jez's ex! – in a bid to make him fall for her.
Unable to resist, Jez started to see Liberty in secret, all the while he carried on planning his wedding to John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).
John Paul, however, called off the wedding earlier this week, coming to believe that his fiancé was keeping one too many secrets from him.
He's not wrong, with the gardener being a cold-blood serial killer, who claimed another victim in Bobby Costello (Zak Sutcliffe) during the latest episode!
With Jez and JP's nuptials having been halted, Liberty called by the allotment to check in on Jez – who is none other than her beloved sister Sienna Blake's (Anna Passey) father.

And it doesn't stop there as upcoming scenes will see Lib check in on Jez once more.
Jez responds by leaning in for a kiss but Liberty pulls away, telling him that he needs to prove he's serious about them having a future together.
Left with food for thought, Jez decides to show his commitment later that day when he, Sienna, Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) and Lib head to The Dog, which is re-opening its doors after months.
John Paul, meanwhile, shows up at the event too and he approaches Jez, who remains cold towards him. Seizing an opportunity to cause a stir, the sick serial killer publicly kisses Liberty!
The moment of passion leaves not only John Paul in shock but also Sienna, who is left reeling to witness her beloved sister kissing her dad. More Trending

Sienna, in fact, rejects the relationship entirely, truly horrified by it all – as does Dodger. The question is: can they talk sense into Liberty?

Rebecca Loos, one of the famous faces braving this year's Celebrity SAS opens up about 'that' David Beckham scandal and how being branded a 'liar' has forced her to develop a thick skin Rebecca Loos faces a grilling on Celebrity SAS about her affair with David Beckham - and she dubbed him a 'coward' for the way he brushed what happened under the carpet on his Netflix documentary. Loos was Beckham's personal assistant in 2003 and claims broke the following year about them having a four month fling. Beckham said reports of the affair were 'ludicrous' at the time but never mounted a legal challenge to the story or any subsequent interviews. Loos went on to appear on reality shows like The Farm and Celebrity Love Island before stepping out of the limelight and is now a yoga teacher in Norway. On her TV comeback on Channel 4 this week, Rebecca said: 'I just wanted to show people who I am and just be myself, which has always been my thing. And I just went in it with a very open mind and take it as it comes. 'I was quite nervous as to how the others would perceive me. I was nervous and apprehensive as to how the show would be edited, because that's always something you have no control of. However, I must say the production team on this show have been absolutely amazing from day one, they have been truthful, they have stuck to their word. 'It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell and his(Becks) life kept going and kept blossoming. I've been accused of being a liar. I've had a lifetime of opinions around me, I've definitely developed thick skin. I think the public opinion now has softened, at least from what I'm gathering since the documentary came out with the Beckhams a couple of years ago. I think it is now because thanks to social media, there is a whole different following out there, which it's a double-edged sword. "You've got the online trolls but I don't think that many people, at least the younger generation, know me that well. I've never really been very interested in what people think of me to be honest. It doesn't bother me. I don't think about it. I don't know what the perception is of me. I don't really care. I'm just myself, and some like it and some don't. And that's just how life is.' Like all the recruits, Rebecca faced a grilling in the show's Mirror Room. Jason Fox and Chris Oliver questioned her motives for being on the show before asking how she felt about her affair with Beckham now she's had the time to reflect on it. On his Netflix 2023 doc Beckham didn't name Rebecca and failed to take any accountability. He just said: 'I don't know how we got through it in all honesty,' on a tricky time when he lived in Madrid. On being asked about Beckham on the Channel 4 show and what she feels about how things have played out, she added: 'I was quite guarded at the beginning. I was trying to be guarded because it's not something I want to talk about the whole time. But at the same time I also wanted to be honest with them, so they were really good at getting through to me. "They're obviously professionals at this. I don't shy away from what I've been through, and I don't shy away from the decisions that I've made. They have shaped me into who I am, and I've really learnt a lot from the mistakes that I've made in my life and the things that I've done. And I really do think that being truthful is the only way to go in life. I'll stand by that forever. "It takes a lot of courage to tell the truth and to own up to mistakes that you have made, mistakes and times in your life you're not proud of. And it's very easy to just brush them under the carpet and move on. That's like the coward's way, I think, of living.' Asked if the SAS experience changes her, she said: "I very much like how they instil in you that even though you want to give up, you don't. And it's easier to take the easy way out, but you've got to fight and push through, and push hard. They gave me a bit of SAS grit. They really inspired me. When I came out of the show, I had made some changes in my life, which I think is definitely thanks to SAS. 'I quit alcohol. That was the first thing I did. I wasn't a big drinker, but I was a social drinker and I noticed that it wasn't good for me and my hormones and what I was going through, and it was having quite a negative effect on me, mentally. So I just decided to cut that out and I started lifting heavy weights. I wanted to get strong. I know it's really good for my bones, it's very good for women. "I was in perimenopause last year. And I've also started taking HRT. I've just started doing things to make sure that I live a healthy and strong life, that I age feeling strong, that I'm able to put a weight on my back and run up a mountain if I have to. So yeah, it was a bit of a kick in the arse to test myself a little bit again. I think in the years prior to SAS, I went through a lot as a mother as well because I had a youngest son who was struggling a lot.' Surviving on the SAS course has made Rebecca come to terms with aging and accepting that now she's a mother she's more risk averse: 'I used to be a risk-taker when I was younger, an absolute risk-taker. I used to love it. I used to thrive on it. Whereas now, no way. Motherhood has softened me. Aging, growing, maturing, we change. I won't speak for all the women, but at least I have become slightly softer, more careful. "And that's probably due to the fact that I hardly have any hormones left in my body. I'm in a different phase. It was a bit of a wake-up call to that. But realising and accepting that is very empowering and it's very positive and it's not a negative thing at all. I like being very aware of what I'm going through and who I am.' Rebecca's life today is a far cry from the media frenzy that exploded around her during the Beckham scandal in 2004. Now living a quiet, picture-perfect life for the last 14 years in Norway with her husband of 13 years, Norwegian doctor Sven Christjar Skaiaa, who she met whilst filming the reality programme, 71 Graden Noord, she is also mother to two sons, Magnus, 16, and Liam,13. The family is based in the remote area of Buskerud county, which is a three-hour trip to the nearest airport. Working as a yoga teacher and massage therapist, she revealed previously that she quit the UK for a "very different" life, to raise her "little Vikings", She has said of her life in Norway. 'It's not like England here, it's much less judgmental. I used to get people coming up to me in Waitrose, right in my face, taking pictures of me with their mobiles' Rebecca has also revealed how open she is with her sons about her past, including the attention thrust upon her over her alleged affair with Beckham, something he has always denied. She said in 2023: 'They know. And so I said - and I feel that it's very unfair because of the way I'm being treated now and the bullying I'm getting and the trolling. And I want to say something. And I'm going to do an interview, so there might be some media and how do you feel about that. 'And so my youngest son said, oh, good. He's a bit like me. He's like, good for you, Mummy. Yes, I would say something to him. And my eldest son, he said, well, I don't really know anything about Beckham. It's not like it's Messi, Mummy. I mean, had it been Messi…'

As an avid fan of horror – from gateway flicks to extreme gems – it's been one of the most exciting years of cinema in a while, but it can also become a daunting task trying to wade through the recommendations. W. Murnau's iconic vampire flick. Starring Nicholas Hoult, Bill Skarsgard, Lily-Rose Depp, and Willem Dafoe, Robert Eggers' film follows estate agent Thomas Hutter (Hoult) as he travels to Transylvania to facilitate the sale of a home in his small German village. He meets with the prospective client, Count Orlok (Skarsgard), but is soon plagued by nightmarish visions and encounters an evil force far beyond his comprehension – and it's coming for his wife, Ellen (Depp). With a palpable sense of dread from the first scene, Eggers injects his signature dark and ominous flare into the classic tale, evident from his work on The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman. Bolstered by incredible performances from its ensemble cast, Nosferatu set the bar mighty high for horror in the next 12 months. The feature debut from Emilie Blichfeldt is as thought-provoking as it is stomach-churning, offering a visceral exploration of female beauty standards via a warped retelling of Cinderella. Elvira (Lea Myren) is obsessed with winning the heart of Prince Julian (Isac Calmroth) and will stop at nothing to do so, even if it means subjecting herself to painful cosmetic procedures closer to medieval torture methods. When it appears that her beautiful stepsister Agnes (Thea Sofie Loch Naess) is about to receive what she believes is fated to her, Elvira resorts to drastic – and gruesome – methods to make sure that doesn't happen. Blichfeldt strikes a unique balance of pitch black comedy while remaining sympathetic towards her characters, but have your bucket at the ready, some seriously gross-out scenes in The Ugly Stepsister make The Substance look like a children's film. Sinners stars Michael B Jordan in the twin roles of Smoke and Stack, offering a performance so captivating it's easy to forget it is one actor playing both characters. The action-packed, blood-soaked flick follows the duo as they set up their own blues bar in their hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, enlisting loved ones far and wide to help get the 'juke joint' up and running the very day they arrive back in town. Offering food, drinks, and live music, the party is well and truly popping just a short while after opening, but the night soon devolves into chaos when a group of strangers turns up and attempts to gain entry. Effortlessly stylish, action-packed, and surprisingly sexy, Sinners is an experience from start to finish that will have you laughing, crying, and dancing along to the impeccable soundtrack. Yuta Shimotsu's feature debut Best Wishes To All is one such title, a thoroughly unsettling, atmospheric film reminiscent of the J-horror era. It follows an unnamed nursing student (Kotone Furukawa) who visits her grandparents (Masashi Arifuku and Yoshiko Inuyama) in their rural Japanese town. She appears distressed to learn that her parents' arrival at the home is delayed, leaving her alone with her elderly relatives. As the visit winds on, the young woman uncovers dark secrets that seem to point to a mysterious presence lurking in the house. Packed full of surreal and deeply disturbing imagery, Best Wishes To All is a remarkable directorial effort from Shimotsu that cements his name as one to be watched. It explores what we are willing to ignore in a bid to live a carefree life, and there are few things more terrifying and relatable than that. Strangely, a release we had this year asked exactly this. Directed by The Loved Ones and The Devil's Candy creator Sean Byrne, Dangerous Animals introduces genre fans to charismatic villain Tucker (Jai Courtney), a serial killer who uses sharks as his weapon of choice. His latest potential victim is Zephyr (Hassie Harrison), who Tucker kidnaps and imprisons on his boat – but she won't go down without a fight. Byrne maintains tension throughout by making the most of the film's limited location, with much of the cat-and-mouse action taking place on Tucker's boat. It's hard not to be intrigued by his charismatic yet deadly persona, and the strong characterisations that invest the audience in their journey are crucial to help this outlandish concept land. What's more, there are buckets of blood and violence aplenty that help Dangerous Animals sit among its sharksploitation and ozsploitation peers comfortably. Spike (Alfie Williams) and his father Jamie (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) venture off the island so the teenager can experience his first kill and learn more about how the world outside of their commune works. When Spike discovers something on the mainland that turns his world upside down, he ventures there with his sickly mother, Isla (Jodie Comer), in a bid to find a miracle cure for her mystery ailment. 28 Years Later boasts grisly kills, balls-to-the-wall action sequences, hair-raising chase sequences, and surprisingly heartfelt moments that will have audiences in tears. It is a British horror film through and through, encapsulating everything from the Covid pandemic to nostalgia culture in a way that is sure to be looked back on for generations to come to examine the landscape in which it was released. What's more, it offers a strangely hopeful twist to the standard zombie narrative that so often focuses on the evils of humanity, instead shining a light on the goodness of our being, which continues to shine in hardship. After making a name for themselves in genre cinema with the release of Talk To Me in 2023, Bring Her Back cements their status as the most exciting directors in modern horror. Bring Her Back follows siblings Andy (Billy Barratt) and Piper (Sora Wong), who are set to be separated in the foster care system following the death of their father. Andy, desperate to care for his sister, begs for them to be kept together, and they go to live with foster mother Laura (Sally Hawkins) and her adopted son Oliver (Jonah Wren Phillips) in their remote home. But when Laura's behaviour towards Andy becomes increasingly hostile, he uncovers a terrifying ritual Laura is attempting to recreate. More Trending Like Talk To Me before it, Bring Her Back is a heartbreaking examination of grief from the perspective of teenagers as well as a mother. Every member of the cast delivers career-defining performances, particularly Paddington star Hawkins, whose devastation in the face of her daughter Cathy's death leads her to extreme lengths. 'I'll die on that hill': WWE star reveals how she fought against bosses' plans

The 34-year-old wrestler is one of the big names showcased in Netflix's new WWE Unreal docu-series, and in one episode viewers will see the debate surrounding the crowing of the first ever Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event. Chelsea was set to win the historic match in December 2024, but the documentary shows how producers – who help wrestlers plan their matches – wanted her to win with a top rope leg drop. However, she star pushed back, insisting she should get her big moment by using her signature Unprettier move. She exclusively told Metro: 'I literally did a leg drop and peed my pants while we were rehearsing it. Speaking up like that is out of character for Chelsea, as normally she's happy to 'run the play' and do whatever she's told. 'Honestly, no, I don't speak up that often. I usually just like to run the play. Whatever they want to do,' she admitted. 'However, there are certain moments in my career where I am willing to die on that hill, and that was one of them. 'This could quite possibly be the tippy top of my career, and I'm not going out doing someone else's finisher or doing a move I don't feel comfortable with!' It meant a lot to Chelsea, but the consummate professional insisted she would 'never' have gone off script if her bosses had decided otherwise. 'I've never been one of those people to call an audible because unless something goes wrong in the ring, I feel like it's taking advantage,' she explained. 'I never want to take advantage of my coworkers. I never want to take advantage of my producers. They trust me.' As Unreal shows, there are a lot of moving parts to WWE, and anything can go wrong. Recently, Chelsea was accidentally counted out during a match on SmackDown, and she's admitted it was her fault. 'If I do something wrong, I come back and I immediately put my hands up, 'I messed up', and that's what I did in that moment,' she recalled. 'I stayed in character, and the minute I got to [Gorilla Position, backstage], it's like, 'I am so sorry I messed up. That was on me. I was out there not paying attention.' The referee was doing his job. I cannot fault anyone for that!' Mistakes like that are part of wrestling, and it didn't hurt Chelsea's standing as weeks later she found herself facing Hall of Famer Nikki Bella in her first match since 2018. 'It's nerve wracking because we've been waiting for this for years,' she said. 'We have been dying to see Nikki Bella make this beautiful comeback after a neck surgery, and after being the longest reigning Divas Champion. There was just so much riding on it.' It was a lot for Chelsea too, who had been pitching to face Nikki at WrestleMania earlier this year, but ended up missing out on the show altogether. 'Maybe this is big headed of me to say, but I think most of us wanted to see the [Women's] US title at WrestleMania in a match,' she shrugged. 'I pushed a lot for that title to be on WrestleMania. But unfortunately, we have so much talent, we have so many titles, we only have a certain amount of hours [the roster] can wrestle.' Her moment with Nikki came after Liv Morgan's unfortunate injury forced WWE into a scramble for creative changes, the likes of which are seen playing out in WWE Unreal. 'I never wanted to see Liv go down the way she did, but when that happened, that did allow me to step in and fill that place,' she pointed out. 'I can hang with the best of them, and Nikki Bella is the best of them.' Chelsea feels like she's being listened to backstage, after years of 'constantly pitching absolutely ridiculous ideas'. 'They really have taken a lot of my suggestions to heart. And it may not go to TV exactly how I pitched it,' she admitted. 'But it goes to TV in one way or another.' I've always been very upfront and honest with my life, with my marriage, with building my home, being released, coming back,' she said.
