Two NY men charged with trespassing in odd incident at off-duty officer's CT home
The Town of Groton Police Department received a 911 call just before 5 p.m. Friday of a report of a disturbance. The caller reported that SeanPaul Reyes, 34, and Tahiem Glover, 20, both of New York, had trespassed on his property, police said.
The off-duty officer was not named, nor was the agency for which he works.
Police said they learned that Reyes and the off-duty officer know each other and have civil litigation ongoing. Police said Reyes and Glover arrived at the home with a 'box truck playing video footage of a prior interaction between the two parties.'
The Groton Police Department determined that 'Reyes and Glover were on the property filming and the parties engaged in a verbal confrontation and the officer retrieved a firearm from the home.'
Reyes and Glover, identified as a videographer, were arrested and the incident is under active investigation by Town of Groton Police Department in collaboration with the Office of the State's Attorney New London Judicial District. The off-duty officer does not work for the Town of Groton Police Department, police said.
Both Reyes, of Gorham, N.Y. and Glover of Selden, N.Y. were arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace, voyeurism with malice and first-degree criminal trespassing, police said.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Wednesday questioned whether Maxwell would be a credible witness. 'I mean, this is a person who's been sentenced to many, many years in prison for terrible, unspeakable, conspiratorial acts. Acts against innocent young people,' he said. The public has been pushing for more information as it relates to Epstein's close friends and associates after a joint memo from the FBI and DOJ earlier this month said the government did not have any more documents to release tied to the deceased financier. Supporters of the president, cheered by Democrats, have pushed for more information from the administration, even after officials have said there was no 'client list' and reaffirmed Epstein died by suicide in his jail cell in 2019. The Wall Street Journal also reported Wednesday that Attorney General Pam Bondi alerted Trump that his name was listed in the 'truckload' of files reviewed by the DOJ and FBI, among numerous other names. Murder investigation latest as police remain on scene
A woman remains in custody as police continue their investigations into the death of a man. The Bolton News reported yesterday the emergency services were called to a street in Heaton on Thursday evening. Police have now launched a murder investigation, with a scene remaining in place today on Longden Street, with a back street cordoned off. The crime scene investigation team was on scene yesterday, this morning police remained on scene, with two cordons in place. A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police, yesterday, said: "At around 8.50pm we were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on Longden Street in Bolton. "Officers attended the scene and sadly a man in his 40s, was found dead. Grenade linked to explosion that killed 3 deputies is missing, officials say
Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna announced Friday that one of two grenades found in a Santa Monica townhome complex prior to an explosion that killed three deputies is currently missing. The day before the explosion, members of the sheriff's department's Arson and Explosives Detail assisted Santa Monica police after a resident reported finding "two grenade-like devices" in a storage unit in an underground garage. Luna said the devices were believed to be "inert" after an x-ray but were still transported to the Biscailuz Center Training Academy to be "destroyed and rendered safe." However, according to Kenny Cooper, Special Agent in Charge of the ATF's Los Angeles Field Division, one of the grenades exploded at the training center. He also said that ATF forces and local law enforcement "meticulously examined a radius of over 400 feet" from the blast site. Cooper said the investigation into the second grenade's status is ongoing. Luna denied the possibility that one of the grenades "fell out" between the storage unit in Santa Monica and the training facility, saying that law enforcement is confident that "did not occur." The sheriff did not rule out the possibility of another individual being involved and said his department and partners were investigating anyone potentially linked to the tragedy, though he did not specify how many suspects there might be. "I am not ready to discuss here and now any names of any individuals that may be people of interest or anything of that nature, not yet," Luna told the press. Luna emphasized that the ATF's findings are preliminary but said the agency expects to complete its final analysis within 45 days. The July 18 explosion claimed the lives of Deputies Joshua Kelley-Eklund, Victor Lemus, and William Osborn. The three men were assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau's Arson Explosives Detail.
