All BBC Casualty spoilers for next week as contamination ordeal is confirmed
Characters in the spotlight this time are Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson), Rash Masum (Neet Mohan), Jacob Masters (Charles Venn) and Ngozi Okoye (Adesuwa Oni).
Iain's venture into the world of Hart continues, Ngozi battles her addiction, Rash takes a brave step and Jacob makes a discovery when his son arrives in the ED.
The drama isn't stopping, so here's everything you need to know about what's ahead in the episode.
Iain and Teddy's (Milo Clarke) first day on Hart requires moving a patient called Rhys from a grounded airplane into an EpiShuttle.
There's been an outbreak of contagious Marburg, so Rhys needs moving from the plane and into an ambulance. It's a race against time though, as the team hit traffic and Rhys starts to panic.
He claims that he has discomfort in his stomach and in his worried state, he tells Iain and Teddy that he doesn't want to die alone. Iain, still trying to ignore the phone call he received in the last episode, cannot help but be reminded of his mum in this moment.
Rhys then suffers a seizure and goes into VT. Teddy and Iain know they are at risk of exposure if they treat him, but they don't have any choice. During this moment, Teddy grows convinced that Rhys does not have Marburg.
As the cover of the EpiShuttle is lifted, it becomes apparent that Rhys is choking on a balloon of drugs. Tim, Iain and Teddy's boss, then radio's in and confirms Rhys definitely has Marburg. Feeling worried, Teddy reveals to Tim that PPE protocol has also been breached.
Meanwhile, at the ED, Rhys' wife Pippa is cornered by the police and she reveals her partner was forced into smuggling drugs.
Later, with Teddy decontaminated and Iain next, Dylan Keogh (William Beck) and the team are getting the other balloons of drugs out of Rhys. Suddenly, one splits, and Iain – who has been exposed – jumps in to start compressions. Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell) then takes blood from Iain in full PPE. She tells him that she's glad he's quite reckless, otherwise he wouldn't have taken a risk with her.
Aw, romance.
The stress of his day triggers an episode of AVNRT for Teddy. It's a complication of his heart condition and it causes his chest to feel tight. In the back of the ambulance, Teddy is faced with Tim.
Teddy isn't keen on facing the fallout of the breach, given how he's feeling, but it makes Tim wonder if he's really got what it takes to be on Hart.
In haste, and wanting to get rid of Tim, Teddy quits Hart. Just as Tim leaves, Teddy clutches his chest again but this time, things are much worse.
Jacob's son Blake rushes into the ED with little Carter in tow, but focus appears to be more on Blake, who is very agitated.
Rash queries whether he's had any changes in medication recently, leaving Jacob to admit that some drugs were recently purchased online.
Jacob and Rash head to see Sunny (Jamie Marie Leary) in the pharmacy for answers, but she reveals that Blake's drugs won't be in stock for another 6 months. She says that unless Jacob pays for a private prescription, Blake won't get what he needs.
Jacob's left deep in thought – what will he do next?
As Dylan continues to support Ngozi in her addiction battle, he offers to be her sponsor. Abel and mum Dee then arrive. Abel has a tension pneumothorax but instead of supporting him, Dee insists that he needs to be more resilient. More Trending
As Abel wakes up, Ngozi learns that he was given conversion therapy in an attempt to please Dee. The difficult dynamic between mother and son leaves Ngozi feeling triggered so she moves away, unable to control her emotions.
Desperate for a drink, Ngozi later faces Dee again, which leaves her very close to giving into temptation.
After the shift, Ngozi heads to another meeting and she finally opens up. Eventually, with the encouragement of the room and Dylan as well, Ngozi feels ready to commit to sobriety.

ITV's newest entertainment format sees a group of celebrities submerged in shark infested waters. If you're wondering who would be crazy enough to sign up to a show like that, TV presenter and wheelchair basketball player, Ade Adepitan, is one such person. As someone who has made their bravery and resilience clear throughout their career, perhaps it's not such a surprise to see Paralympian Ade plunged into a shark cage on the show after all. And if it's made you question where you've seen him before then you've come to the right place. Here's everything you need to know about the presenter. Ade, whose full name is Adedoyin Olayiwola, is a TV presenter and wheelchair basketball player who has hosted travel documentaries and sports programmes for BBC and Channel 4 for more than 20 years. In 2004, Ade won a bronze medal at the Summer Paralympics playing wheelchair basketball. He is an advocate for promoting access to sport for disabled people and received an MBE for his services to disability sport in 2005. Ade got his start as an actor and appeared in Casualty and Desperados and Eastenders before moving into presenting in the early 2000s. He appeared on Channel 4's Unreported World during the 2010s and That Paramlympic Show in 2012 with Rick Edwards. Ade hosted Africa with Ade Adepitan in 2019 and Climate Change: Ade on the Frontline in 2021. Ade has also presented the Invictus Games, The One Show and World's Biggest Cities on the BBC. In 2025, Ade appeared on Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters alongside Lenny Henry, Amandaland star Lucy Punch, Helen George, Rachel Riley, Dougie Poynter and Ross Noble. In the show's attempt to showcase sharks in a new light, Ade takes on the physical challenges with twice the difficulty and vigour because of his disability, making him twice as impressive. Ade was born in Lagos in Nigeria where he contracted polio as an infant. This caused damage to his legs which required him to use a wheelchair. Yes, Ade has been married to singer Linda Harrison, who performs as Elle Exxe, since 2018. They have a son who was born in 2021. Episode – Multiple between the years of 2009 and 2010 Too Much star Will Sharpe joined the cast of Casualty in 2009, playing junior Doctor Yuki Reid. He joined the ED along with a group of new F2 trainees. Episode – Multiple between the years of 2009-2011 Sophia Di Martino played a young ambulance technician in the show called Polly Emmerson. The character was killed in 2011 after getting stabbed by a patient called Hannah Fleet. Theatr Clwyd: House of the Dragon star to appear in new play
Theatr Clwyd, in Mold, is set to host the world premiere of The Red Rogue of Bala, written by newcomer Chris Ashworth-Bennion. The play, which will run from November 3 to 22, tells a darkly comedic story of "power, community, and change." It is inspired by Coch Bach y Bala, an infamous figure from the area known for his jailbreaking, poaching, and thievery, set against the backdrop of impending war. At the centre of the story is Bala, played by Simon Holland Roberts. Mr Roberts has appeared in Coronation Street and on stage at various prestigious venues such as the Donmar Warehouse and Chichester Festival Theatre. Simon Holland Roberts has been cast to play Coch Bach y Bala (Image: Theatr Clwyd) Joining him are Maxine Evans and Julian Lewis Jones, both familiar faces from popular TV shows. Ms Evans has appeared in Sky's Stella, Call the Midwife, Torchwood, Casualty, Holby City, and EastEnders. Mr Jones has starred in Justice League, Clint Eastwood's Invictus, and HBO's House of the Dragon. Maxine Evans of Call the Midwife, Torchwood, Casualty, Holby City, and EastEnders (Image: Theatr Clwyd) Rhys Ap Trefor, known for his long-running role in Pobol y Cwm and various other TV shows, will also join the cast. Wyn Bowen Harries, artistic director of Cwmni Pendraw, also joins the cast, bringing along his experience from Rownd a Rownd, Hinterland/Y Gwyll, Coronation Street, and Pobol y Cwm. Theo Woolford, currently on a UK tour of Dial M For Mayhem, and Mia Khan, who appeared in BBC Two's Mammoth, will also be part of the cast. Julian Lewis Jones, known for Justice League, Clint Eastwood's Invictus, and HBO's House of the Dragon (Image: Theatr Clwyd) Making his professional Welsh stage debut is Geraint De Carvalho, a recent graduate of East 15 Acting School, with past credits including The Cherry Orchard, Betrayal, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Completing the cast is Qasim Mahmood, known for his performances at the RSC, Hampstead Theatre, Birmingham Rep, and Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Directed by Dan Jones, artistic director of Cardiff's The Other Room, the play promises a 'gripping' storyline featuring an ensemble cast of Welsh talent.
