Jungkook's Festival Reign: The Numbers Don't Lie
If you thought BTS's Jungkook was just another K-pop idol, think again. The guy just bagged the number one spot in Forbes Korea's "Global Festival's Favourite Idol" poll, held on Mnet Plus from June 13 to 30.
And get this-he didn't just win, he absolutely dominated with a whopping 45.8% of the votes. That's not just popularity, that's a straight-up fan tsunami.
From Central Park to Times Square: Jungkook's Insane Stage Power
Let's talk about stages. In 2023, Jungkook rocked the Global Citizen Festival in New York's Central Park. Not only did he pull off a live performance that had the entire crowd (and probably a few squirrels) losing it, but he also made history as the first Korean solo artist to headline the festival right after launching his solo career.
Imagine the pressure-and then imagine just owning it.
But Jungkook didn't stop there. He pulled a surprise guerrilla show at Times Square's TSX Entertainment outdoor venue. People swarmed, the crowd went wild, and the energy was off the charts. Only Post Malone had performed there before Jungkook, so you know this isn't just any random gig. It's like pulling off a flash mob at Mumbai's Gateway of India and having the entire city show up.

Breaking Records at the FIFA World Cup
If you're still not impressed, let's rewind to the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Qatar. Jungkook became the first Korean artist to perform the official World Cup soundtrack live. That's like being the opening act at the Cricket World Cup finals-except, you know, for the entire planet. His performance wasn't just a show; it was a global moment, and it proved that Jungkook isn't just a K-pop star-he's a world-class performer.
Why Indian Fans Totally Get the Hype
Honestly, watching Jungkook's journey feels a lot like rooting for your favorite Bollywood star as they go international. The way he commands a stage, the way fans chant his name, the cultural pride-Indian youth know exactly what that feels like. Whether it's a cricket stadium or a music festival, that electric connection between artist and audience is universal.
And let's not forget: with every stage he conquers, Jungkook is showing the world what it means to blend talent, hard work, and sheer charisma. If you're dreaming big, this is your sign to go all in.
Jungkook's story isn't just about breaking records-it's about breaking boundaries. And honestly, who doesn't love a good underdog-turned-global-legend tale?

Pratiksha Rai portrays three undercover disguises in Vasudha

The drama in Vasudha is set to hit a new high as the story takes a gripping turn. In a bold twist, Karishma (Pratiksha Rai) secures bail and walks out of prison, only to head straight back to the Chauhan house. Fueled by suspicion that her cousin and partner-in-revenge, Megha (Mandeep Kaur), has developed feelings for Devansh (Abhishek Sharma), Karishma fears their carefully laid plan against the Chauhan family may be falling apart. But she isn't returning quietly. In a daring performance, Pratiksha slips into three dramatic disguises to confront Megha—first as a Banjaran in vibrant Rajasthani attire, then a moustached male servant, and finally Megha's bua under a ghoonghat. Each look isn't just part of the plot—it spotlights Pratiksha's impressive range. Behind the scenes, these transformations were no less intense. From prosthetics and moustaches to heavy jewellery and layered makeup, each look required hours of prep, especially the male avatar shot in the heat. Yet, with grace and grit, Pratiksha delivered a performance that was not only convincing but also layered, emotional, and unforgettable. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like One of the Most Successful Investors of All Time, Warren Buffett, Recommends: 5 Books for Turning... Over time, the audience has started reacting so strongly to her actions that I often get messages saying, 'Why are you always troubling Vasudha?' (laughs). That's when I knew the character was truly making an impact. With this new track, I got the opportunity to take Karishma to another level of unpredictability and drama, donning three completely different disguises in just three days. Each look came with its own set of challenges—right from adapting to a new voice and body language to wearing heavy Rajasthani jewellery one day, and a realistic moustache and turban the next. The male disguise, especially, really pushed me to modulate my voice and change my physicality.' She added, 'It was physically and mentally exhausting, but I took it up as a challenge because these are the moments we live for as actors. What made it all worth it was the thrill of slipping into these characters and bringing Karishma's desperation and determination alive on screen. It's been one of the most challenging and exciting experiences of my journey in Vasudha—a track full of suspense, emotion, and transformation. I truly can't wait for the audience to see the drama that's about to unfold!' While Pratiksha is thrilled about exploring these bold new shades of her character, the chaos in the Chauhan household is only just beginning. With Megha discovering that Vasudha secretly wears a mangalsutra in Devansh's name, the emotional stakes are at an all-time high. Blackmail, betrayal, and long-buried secrets are about to surface. Brad Pitt's F1 Accused of Copying Saif Ali Khan's Ta Ra Rum Pum | Siddharth Anand Reacts Big names, bigger buzz 'F1' stars Brad Pitt in a charismatic role as a veteran Formula One driver returning to the track. He's joined by a stellar cast that includes Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and rising star Damson Idris. ETimes review for the movie reads, "Brad Pitt nails the role of a driver with laid-back arrogance, shining in every scene—whether he's strutting in with retro swagger or brushing off the media with monosyllabic replies. Don't miss the finale, where it's just him in the cockpit, the world around him fading into silence—what he calls 'flying.' Damson Idris is equally compelling as the new-age driver, skillfully balancing raw talent with the modern demands of social media and public presence."
