Aaron Rodgers' Malibu workout photo with several Steelers goes viral

Yahoo13 hours ago
Aaron Rodgers has been making up for lost time — training and building chemistry with several of the Steelers' talented pass catchers in Malibu.
In rare Rodgers fashion, the Steelers QB took to Instagram and posted a group photo from their summer workout — which has since gone viral and can be seen below:
DK Metcalf previously confirmed there would be a California workout taking place with Rodgers, but it's awesome to see wide receivers Scotty Miller, Ben Skowronek, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, and tight end Pat Freiermuth make the trip as well.

Missing from the Malibu-based workout was none other than newly acquired Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith — who has taken to social media to post a hype video for his upcoming Steelers season.
The Steelers offense is shaping up to be an exciting unit to watch in 2025, but one can't help but wonder if there's still a move or two Pittsburgh can make before the season begins.

Oklahoma State women's tennis program gets three years' probation for recruiting violations

The Oklahoma State women's tennis program of coach Chris Young has been put on probation by the NCAA for recruiting violations. STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State women's tennis team has received a three-year probation sentence from the NCAA for recruiting violations. OSU director of tennis and women's head coach Chris Young improperly contacted potential transfers before the athlete was in the transfer portal and told a player not to cooperate with the investigation, which is a violation of head coach responsibility rules. The news was initially reported by College Tennis Nation. Advertisement The program will serve a three-year probation and pay a fine of $35,000 plus 1% of the women's tennis program budget. It will reduce its official visits by 18% based on the average number of visits for the previous four years. The school prohibited unofficial visits for 10 weeks during the spring of 2025 and prohibited off-campus recruiting for 10 weeks during the 2024-25 academic year. It also prohibited recruiting communications for three weeks during the 2024-25 school year. Such communications will also be prohibited for seven weeks during the coming school year. Young must fulfill a four-year show-cause order, during which he is not allowed to communicate with prospective transfers in December for each year of the order. He is suspended from two regular-season contests during the 2025-26 season. Advertisement The program is required to vacate all team wins and records from matches the improperly recruited transfer participated in. Legendary Singer-Songwriter, 78, Plays What Bob Dylan Called the 'Best Song Ever Written' in 'Brilliant' New Video

Legendary Singer-Songwriter, 78, Plays What Bob Dylan Called the 'Best Song Ever Written' in 'Brilliant' New Video originally appeared on Parade. When it comes to staying power, few songs in contemporary music history stack up to "Wichita Lineman." Written by iconic songwriter Jimmy Webb for country singer Glen Campbell in 1968, the chart-topping tune has been covered by many other legendary artists in the years since (from Johnny Cash to James Taylor to Smokey Robinson and more) and countless others — like Bob Dylan — consider it one of the best songs of all time. In a video shared to TikTok this week, Webb, 78, demonstrated how to play "Wichita Lineman" on the piano, explaining the various chord progressions and occasionally singing along. "Bob Dylan once called this the 'greatest song ever written,'" the caption read. Commenters were quick to agree with the "Like a Rolling Stone" singer, with one writing, "Bob Dylan was right!" "Just brilliant. One of the most moving songs of all time. So much longing and regret," added a second fan. "A great and beautiful song. Genius," someone else commented, with another chiming in to say, "This may be my favorite song ever." Dylan gave his oft-quoted opinion on the classic track via the cover of Dylan Jones' Wichita Lineman: Searching in the Sun for the World's Greatest Unfinished Song, as American Songwriter reported. In 2020, Webb spoke to the same outlet about another famous musician's take on the tune, saying, 'Billy Joel came pretty close one time when he said 'Wichita Lineman is a simple song about an ordinary man thinking extraordinary thoughts'. That got to me; it actually brought tears to my eyes. I had never really told anybody how close to the truth that was.'Legendary Singer-Songwriter, 78, Plays What Bob Dylan Called the 'Best Song Ever Written' in 'Brilliant' New Video first appeared on Parade on Jul 3, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 3, 2025, where it first appeared.
