Bill Belichick's UNC football team reportedly lands docuseries deal after all
However, it was reported shortly after that Belichick and UNC would no longer appear on 'Hard Knocks.' Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 'played an instrumental role' in stopping the potential partnership as she requested to be heavily involved in the project, Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up Belichick, meanwhile, gave a different reasoning for why UNC's deal to appear on 'Hard Knocks' didn't come to fruition. Advertisement 'And the 'Hard Knocks' thing, you know, like, just for the record, 'Hard Knocks' is training camp,' Belichick Advertisement 'There's film issues, too, but forget about the film issues. Like, just say you could straighten all those out. The 'Hard Knocks' just didn't fit for us. That's the bottom line.' Belichick's comments from the 'Pivot Podcast' might be an indication that the Hulu docuseries will focus on UNC's entire season. It wouldn't be the first time that Belichick has allowed camera crews to follow him for an entire year. Belichick granted NFL Films behind-the-scenes access to the Patriots' 2009 season for the inaugural edition of NFL Network's 'A Football Life.' The news of UNC's docuseries deal comes at the end of another week where Belichick made multiple headlines. On Wednesday, Belichick's first season at UNC will officially kick off on Sept. 1, when it hosts TCU. Expectations on how the Tar Heels will do in Belichick's first year seem to be wide-ranging, but DraftKings Sportsbook has placed their win total at 7.5 and is giving them the ninth-best odds to win the ACC (+4000).

Who is... Fishers firefighter Jeff Hague? The next contestant on Jeopardy! Here's when to watch
Jeff Hague, a firefighter with the City of Fishers, is bringing the heat to the Alex Trebek stage when he appears on the popular quiz show "Jeopardy!" The Carmel resident will compete Monday, July 21, according to the show's official website. Hague faces a stay-at-home mom from Connecticut and 12-time defending champion, Scott Riccardi, an engineer from New Jersey. Here's what we know. Hague has served the City of Fishers as a firefighter for more than 20 years and was recently promoted in late April to the rank of Captain. The firefighter and paramedic has kindled a long burning ambition to appear on "Jeopardy!," according to a social media post the department put out Sunday. "We're proud to cheer on one of our own," a spokesperson said, calling Hague's appearance on the hit quiz show "living a lifelong dream." Hague's chances of success might be extinguished though depending on well he does against Riccardi, who breezed through Friday's competition. Those familiar with famed Science Fiction author Isaac Asimov might have done well during Friday's Final "Jeopardy!" question. The category was "Science Words" and the clue was: "Expanding on a word created by a Czech playwright, Asimov coined this term in 1941 for a branch of science that didn't exist then." The answer: "What is Robotics?" All the contestants got it right but it was Riccardi, with a commanding lead of $22,400, who won the game. He wagered $8,000 and ended the night with $30,400. His total winnings so far are $312,501. "Jeopardy!" airs nightly at 7:30 p.m. ET Monday through Saturday on WTHR in Indianapolis. Visit to see when and where the show airs in your area. New Disney+ Dive-In Theater experiences give fans immersive movie experiences in pools
Disney+ and Swimply are teaming up to give fans a way to cool down and dive into an immersive movie experience unlike any other. The streaming service and the pioneering pool-sharing platform announced Monday that they are combining forces to create the first-ever Disney+ Dive-In Theater experiences. The experiences will transform three private swimming pools in Los Angeles into recreations of three classic films available to view on Disney+ and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers: "Honey I Shrunk the Kids," "Camp Rock" and "Alien." Guests will not only be able to watch a movie while they swim, but also take part in themed photo ops and interactive experiences, according to Disney+ and Swimply. At the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" experience, for example, guests will enter through a "shrink ray" laser tunnel and emerge to giant-sized features, like a huge popcorn box and a cereal bowl swimming pool. "The Disney+ Dive-In Theater allows fans to connect with their favorite films in a way they've never been able to before," Samantha Rosenberg, executive vice president of marketing for Disney+, said in a statement Monday. "Following the success of our Disney+ Throwback Experience earlier this summer, we're seeing audiences crave real-world experiences that let them step into the stories they love." The limited-time Disney+ Dive-In Theater experiences will run from late July through August. Fans may book a Disney+ Dive-In Theater experience by going to Swimply's website or downloading the Swimply app. Disney+ Dive-In Theater dates and details "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids": Taking place from July 29 to Aug. 1, the experience will allow guests to "enter through a giant 'shrink ray' laser tunnel and emerge in a giant-sized world featuring a cereal bowl swimming pool, Cheerio pool floats, a towering popcorn box, and massive ants," according to Disney+ and Swimply. "Camp Rock": From Aug. 6-9, guests can enjoy a fire pit, bunk assignments, friendship bracelet-making stations and sing the night away on a stage enhanced by a "lakeside feel." "Alien": The third and final experience, running from Aug. 14-17, will transport guests into deep space. According to Disney+ and Swimply, "Guests will be recruited by Weyland-Yutani agents, pose in a flight suit, and watch the film surrounded by eerie green lighting and sci-fi sound design."
