Feyenoord confirm Quilindschy Hartman departure to Burnley
Feyenoord have confirmed that Quilindschy Hartman will be joining Burnley this summer. The 23-year-old released a statement via the Feyenoord website, having been with the club since he was nine years old. Hartman said 'Playing for Feyenoord, that's what I wanted as a little boy and I'm proud that I was able to wear this shirt so early, up to the first team and prizes'. Hartman then went on to talk about his desire to play in the Premier League and the chance to move to Burnley means he is making another dream come true.
The 23-year-old left-back, who has been capped at senior level by the Dutch national team, only made 12 appearances for the side last season, creating one assist. The fee agreed between the two sides is reported to have been around €12m. During his time with Feyenoord, Hartman won both the Eredivisie title and the KNVB cup. He leaves Feyenoord and Dutch football having made 83 appearances for the senior side, scoring two goals and providing 12 assists.

Hartman is the first of a number of players expected to leave, or to have already left, Feyenoord this summer. Antoni Milambo may well follow him to the Premier League by joining Brentford in the near future.

This according to today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the training sessions are lasting about a half an hour longer. That has been enough time for the 44-year-old to really start to get the squad familiar with his methods in training. And according to the Gazzetta there have been clear differences from the way that Simone Inzaghi trained the squad. As the Gazzetta note, the 44-year-old has brought back Stefano Rapetti to be the athletic coach. Part of the new regime has been more work in the gym before training. Chivu hopes to use more strength training to avoid injuries. Then, the sessions are more intense, and longer by about a half an hour. These ninety-minute sessions are meant to get the squad ready for a more high-pressing approach, the Gazzetta reports.

Bolton Wanderers end tie-up with sports data firm Ludonautics after two years
WANDERERS have ended their relationship with sports advisory firm Ludonautics. The club has confirmed that the link-up, which was agreed two years ago to give them access to high-end scouting data, has been cut. Advertisement Ludonautics were given B class shares in Bolton's parent company, Football Ventures (Whites) limited, two years ago in exchange for access to data which they felt would help them improve recruitment, specifically overseas. The parting of ways is understood to have been amicable, with Wanderers now shifting back to a more traditional blend of data and in-person scouting under new sporting director, Fergal Harkin. A spokesperson for the club told The Bolton News: 'Our partnership with Ludonautics has ended. We are extremely grateful to Ian (Graham) and his team for their help and expertise on the specific projects we partnered on.' Ludonautics was founded by former Liverpool director of research Ian Graham, who worked in Jurgen Klopp's data room alongside Michael Edwards to create a Premier League and Champions League winning squad between 2012 and 2023. Advertisement Graham was responsible for one of the Premier League's first in-house analytics departments, which paved the way for the data boom of the 2020s but the link with Bolton has not proved as productive as it was originally hoped. Mr Graham said: 'Despite our professional partnership coming to an end, I wish BWFC nothing but success both now and in the future. It was a pleasure to work with and assist their progressive ownership and management team for the period we did."
