Kansas City radio host sparks fury after ripping 'fat' Patrick Mahomes over 'dad bod': 'Stop the fast food'
Mahomes toasted the Fourth of July in style as he partied with longtime wife Brittany and a group of their close friends on a luxury yacht over the weekend.
In photos shared by Brittany and other members of the party, the three-time Super Bowl winner showed off his 'dad bod' after going shirtless while wearing blue trunks.
On their run to Super Bowl glory last year, Mahomes went viral for his chunky physique while celebrating a win in the Chiefs locker room, with the man himself even seeing the funny side of the attention it garnered at the time.
Yet one person who doesn't find humor in his self-proclaimed 'dad bod' is local radio host Kevin Kietzman.
In a vicious attack on the Kansas City hero, Kietzman ripped into Mahomes on the latest episode of his podcast 'Kevin Kietzman Has Issues' and urged him to 'stop the fast food' - an assessment which has sparked fury online.
'Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat. I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth, he's an embarrassment,' the controversial personality said.
'You're a $500m quarterback, you've made all these comments in the offseason that "we're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance"... Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60 year olds.
'Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something.'
Kietzman then continued: 'Yeah, I'm sure he's worked out and he's strengthened his arm and he's done all kind of different things, quarterback things... but there's no training to this man. I don't understand it.
'He's not a kid anymore, you can't just run through your NFL career eating Taco Bell all the time and Door Dashing fried chicken, which he loves. It's time dude. It's time.
'I only do this as a precaution because I love the guy. He's an enormous talent. But I cannot stand it when I see somebody just sit back on their talent and not be the best that they are.'
Kietzman - who was infamously taken off the air and fired by Kansas City radio station WHB in 2019 for linking Chiefs head coach Andy Reid's fallout with ex-player Tyreek Hill to his late son's drug overdose - was slammed by fans on social media for his spiteful comments about Mahomes.
'He's a f***ing idiot,' one user said about the radio host.
'This was seriously funny. Now NFL players have to look a certain way,' wrote another. 'Their on field performance and accolades are not as important as how good they look with their shirts off.'
'Bro hes the best qb in the league lol he can do what he wants to. Bro makes the afc champ game every year and he's complaining about how he looks,' argued a third.
A fourth commented: Same piece of s*** he's always been. Just talks to get attention.'

Commanders linebacker Von Miller still confident in pass rushing
July 25 - Eight-time All-Pro linebacker and new Washington Commander Von Miller is 36 years old and hasn't notched double-digit sacks since 2018. Yet his confidence in his passing ability is unwavering. "I can still roll out of bed at 36 years old with my shoes on and rush the passer," Miller said Thursday. "I can do that right when I wake up fresh out of sleep. I love rushing the passer." Miller joined a Washington squad in need of pass rushers on a one-year, $6.1 million contract. The Commanders notched 43 sacks last year, 11th-most in the league, but lost their sack leader Dante Fowler Jr. (10.5) in free agency. Once one of the NFL's most feared defenders and an every-down player, Miller has evolved into a situational pass rusher; he played only 25.27 percent of Buffalo's defensive snaps last season. Washington will especially lean on its younger rotational pass rush pieces, given that they were one of the worst run defenses in the league last season and need defensive ends who can set the edge. The surefire Hall of Famer has won two Super Bowls -- in 2015 with the Denver Broncos and 2021 with the Los Angeles Rams. After three years with a Buffalo Bills squad that couldn't make it over the hump, he signed with Washington to contend for another. The Commanders made a surprise trip to the NFC championship game last year, the franchise's first since 1991. They currently hold the seventh-best Super Bowl odds ahead of next season. "You can't just leave Josh Allen for anywhere," Miller said. "You can't go from the AFC championship and go anywhere. ... This team is all about winning. I'm all about winning. That's why I'm here is to win." --Field Level Media

Aaron Rodgers left red-faced after humiliating start to Steelers training camp
Aaron Rodgers threw an interception with his very first pass of training camp with the Steelers. The legendary quarterback, 41, finally joined Pittsburgh in June - signing a one-year, $13.65m deal after months of uncertainty over his NFL future. Rodgers is looking to rediscover his best after a dreadful couple of years with the New York Jets. But there were groans from the crowd who turned up to the Steelers' opening practice of training camp on Thursday after Rodgers' first pass was picked off by linebacker Patrick Queen. 'It's good to get that out the way,' Rodgers later said with a grin. The Steelers players are staying in dorms at St. Vincent College as they begin preparations for the 2025 season. Rodgers will return to MetLife Stadium to face the Jets in week one and on Thursday he downplayed any concerns over his early error. Aaron Rodgers on his first pass to DK Metcalf getting intercepted ⬇️ (via @steelers and @SteelersWRobbie) — FOX Sports: NFL (@NFLonFOX) July 24, 2025 'Anybody that's watched me practice over the years, you like to try certain throws at certain times, and anybody that's watched me in the games knows I've been pretty stellar taking care of the football over the years,' the quarterback said. 'It's going to be a good challenge for me throwing in this heat every single day. I look forward to it, but I'm going to throw some picks, but I'm going to throw some touchdowns, too.' The four-time MVP failed to end New York's long playoff drought over two miserable seasons that began with a ruptured Achilles tendon. But earlier this week, Steelers GM Omar Khan said he is building a team to win the Super Bowl and Rodgers believes Pittsburgh can contend for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. 'I think most of the 32 teams would probably say something to that accord at this time of the year, but I think that there's really only six to eight that really have a legitimate chance,' Rodgers said. 'Sometimes, it's 10 to 12 and there's teams that surprise you, but I would say on paper, we're probably one of those 10 to 12.' The Steelers last won the Super Bowl in February 2009.

Taylor Swift fans lose it over all the hidden details in Travis Kelce snaps that reveal their intimate home life
Taylor Swift 's devoted fans have been dissecting new photos her boyfriend Travis Kelce shared to his Instagram on Thursday, finding subtle hints about the pair's home life. The football star, 35, posted a carousel of images from his summer with the singer, 35, marking it the first time he's featured Taylor on his social media. And fans were quick to note a number of hidden details, showing just how close the power couple have become since going public with their romance in 2023. Among the details was the presence of Taylor's private younger brother, Austin Swift, 33, indicating a growing closeness between their families. In one image Austin was pictured bonding with the Kansas City Chiefs legend and his brother Jason Kelce, 37. In another picture, Austin was seen on a fishing trip with Travis and a friend in the woods. Eagle-eyed fans also noted that Travis' phone background is a photo of him with Taylor. In yet another image, fans spotted Taylor's longtime BFF Ashley Avignone and Este Haim, signaling Travis's growing closeness to Taylor's inner circle of friends. They also pointed out that the slideshow contains 13 photos, a nod to Taylor's well-known lucky number. The first image in Travis' carousel shows the pair matching in white, with him wearing a hat that says 'captain' and her rocking a matching one that says 'first mate.' Travis also shared the images in July, coinciding with the second anniversary of their initial meeting in July 2023, when Travis famously attempted to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number. The images also use Taylor's signature photo filter, which Travis has discussed on his podcast previously. After Travis surprised fans with the post, they quickly took to the comments to discuss all the different hidden details. 'The lock screens on their phones on slide 3,' one wrote. '13 slides…we see you.' 'Me looking at Travis' phone background.' 'Ppl bout to zoom tf in on that lockscreen lmao,' another wrote. 'IS HE USING HER SIGNATURE FILTER,' someone questioned. '13 pics too omg.' 'THE LOCK SCREEN my heartttt.' '13 pics in the photo dump.' 'Thirteen photos - nice touch!' Other pictures show the couple out for dinner, clowning around in the snow and skating on an ice rink. They also took photos with different groups of friends, one of which includes NFL reporters Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews and their respective partners. Kelce's older brother Jason, mom Donna and dad Ed also feature in the Instagram dump. 'Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 100,' Travis captioned his post. Kelce and Swift have enjoyed a more low-key offseason together than last year, with the pair only making a handful of public appearances since the Chiefs' Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in February. The most noteworthy of the lot came when Taylor made a surprise cameo at her man's 'Tight End University' event in Nashville last month, where she took to the stage and performed her famous 'Shake It Off' song. On a subsequent edition of his New Heights podcast, Travis explained that they had been cooking up a plan to 'have some fun' for some time. But his older brother Jason was among those who were shocked when footage emerged of the pop sensation on stage. 'Tay Tay showed up!' Travis said. 'We were in Nashville, she grew up in Nashville - she moved there when she was younger - and we had this planned for a while that we were going to have some fun with the tight ends. He continued: 'I won't say when the idea came up but we were there at "Tight End & Friends" and we knew that there was a professional like Kane Brown, who could just figure it out. 'He's a pro, he's been on stage a million times, he's not shy at all by any means... Tay just went up to him and the band and was like: "Hey if you guys are down, I'll go up there, play a song and see if we can pop the roof off this place." And sure enough...' Travis revealed that before going out to perform, Swift was backstage writing sheets of music for the band. 'I don't know, I'm not a musician but she was making sure that the band and everybody (knew it). And then just went out there without practicing and it was pitch perfect and just killed it,' Travis continued. 'She's so good with everybody and making people feel comfortable. And absolutely rocked the stage yet again, it was awesome, man.' Travis was back on the practice field on Tuesday as the Chiefs began their preparations for the new NFL season. From Tuesday until August 13, the team will be based at Missouri Western State University in St Joseph - around an hour north Arrowhead Stadium. There, Travis and the other 89 players on the roster will stay in dorms on campus for the duration of camp. That means three weeks without seeing their partners and families. For Travis, that means three weeks without seeing Swift.
