Venturing into acting was an enjoyable experience: Director Anup Bhandari
Director and composer Anup Bhandari recalls making music for his directorial Rajaratha at composer Ajaneesh Loknath's studio a few years ago, when filmmaker Bobby CR walked in and casually greeted him with, 'Hello, Dr Anand. ' 'I was surprised and asked her what she meant,' Anup recalls, adding, 'That's when she shared her idea for a directorial and how she envisioned me playing one of the characters in the film.' While Anup has made appeared in cameos in his own films before, Bobby's directorial debut Just Married marks his first fullfledged acting debut. 'Having a caravan to myself, an assistant holding an umbrella over me, extended lunch breaks, and watching series in the van during free moments — it was all new to me,' he admits. 'I've never been this relaxed on a set before,' he says. But detaching from the director's mindset wasn't easy. ' Additionally, on working with a female director, Anup tells us, 'I genuinely appreciate the sensibility women bring in. Bobby and I had a wonderfully collaborative process. And as a woman, the perspective she brings to the story is sentimental, sensitive and sensible,' he observes.

Yet, no fractures were detected in the Syed, along with SSP-South Mahzoor Ali, visited the apartment, where several clues further supported the timeline of her death. DIG-South Syed Asad Raza told Dawn that expired bread and packaged milk in the fridge were dated September 2024, while two SIM cards found in her phone had been inactive since that same month. When some residents returned in February, the smell had already faded. One of her balcony doors was found open, and the water pipes in the home were dry and rusted. "We have come here and after fulfilling all the legal requirements, have received the dead body," Naveed said. He revealed that Humaira had moved from Lahore to Karachi about seven years ago and had grown distant from the family. She had not visited them for nearly a year and a half. "That is why my father said that if there is any emergency, then you can bury her there [in Karachi]," he said, explaining the family's earlier reluctance.
