When Pascal's billionaire first approaches Lucy, he asks if she wants a drink, and her usual order of coke and beer magically appear just as she utters them, procured by her ex-boyfriend and cater-waiter John, whom she hugs fiercely. Pascal's rich man's apartment costs 12 million while Evans' John still has roommates, but his case for winning Lucy back is compelling. 'When I see your face, I see wrinkles and children that look like you,' he tells her in the trailer. He later asks her why anyone gets married. 'Because they're lonely, and because they're hopeful,' she answers. It looks like this complicated decision might shake Lucy's foundations and make her question her line of work, 9th Wedding celebration cake and all. An earnest and sad-looking Pedro Pascal versus a blue collar Chris Evans would be a difficult choice indeed.
