Located next to Strathclyde Country Park, M&D's Scotland's Theme Park is one of Scotland's top visitor attractions. The Theme Park has up to 40 rides and attractions to suit every age – from toddler-friendly rides to white-knuckle thrill rides. There's also Amazonia, Scotland's only indoor tropical rainforest packed with exotic animals and plants, Devil's Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, a ten-pin bowling alley, and Krazy Congo Soft Play. There are also many food outlets to enjoy, from snacks to restaurant meals, including the award-winning American-themed diner, Monterey Jack's. Car parking and entry into the Theme Park are completely free and there is also a range of ticket options to suit everyone's budget. Terms and conditions apply, please see voucher for details. New bus service introduced to M&D's Scotland's Theme Park M&D's Scotland's Theme Park has teamed up with First Bus to provide a dedicated local bus service to and from the Theme Park this summer! Lanarkshire residents can take advantage of a new First Bus service 247 to the Theme Park which will pick up and drop off at various points including Hamilton Bus Station, Motherwell and Bellshill. Free entry for unpaid carers at M&D's Scotland's Theme Park

M&D's Scotland's Theme Park in Motherwell is taking part in National Carers Week, which runs from June 9 to 15, by offering exclusive discounts to unpaid carers on June 14 and 15. More than six million people across the UK are estimated to provide unpaid care for family and friends - a role that can be both rewarding and incredibly challenging. In recognition of their vital work, M&D's will will receive free entry with a paying guest on a range of attractions, including wristband packages, Amazonia, Devil's Island Adventure Golf, Cosmic Bowl, and Walk the Plank. Jensen Taylor Connelly, director at M&D's, said: "We have many carers visit us throughout the year on days out and where possible we always support them as the work they do is so valuable. "Raising awareness during Carers Week seems only appropriate as it's an ongoing challenge for many families and hopefully this initiative will do just that." M&D's adds extra dates for Youtuber Ms. Rachel-inspired show

M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, in partnership with Wicked Entertainment, announced a Ms Rachel-inspired morning featuring two shows, which sold out within hours In response to the overwhelming demand, the theme park has now added two additional shows. READ MORE: Star of legendary Scots rock band pictured at Glasgow restaurant Ms Rachel, who has 14.9 million YouTube subscribers, is a former teacher turned online sensation known for her educational videos for babies and toddlers, focused on language development and early learning. Since launching her channel in 2019, she has become a household name — especially among parents looking for engaging, screen-based learning tools for young children. Jensen Taylor Connelly, director of M&D's Scotland's Theme Park, said: "Ms Rachel became popular during the pandemic and her popularity has just rocketed as people look to entertain their babies. "However, we were taken aback by how quickly our initial two performances sold out. The shows will take place at 2.30pm and 4.15pm on Saturday, July 19. Tickets, costing £13.95 plus a booking fee, include entry to Krazy Congo soft play as well as the Ms Rachel performance. They are available to be purchased at the Scotland's Theme Park website.
