How a new USC recruiting prediction spells potential victory for Oregon Football
A potential domino is about to fall in the wide receiver recruiting world, and it may have some positive ramifications for the Oregon Ducks. On Wednesday morning, On3's Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for the USC Trojans to land a commitment from 4-star WR Ethan 'Boobie' Feaster, the No. 40 player and No. 4 receiver in the 2026 class. Standing at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Feaster is a talented pass-catcher who the Trojans have been trying to land over the likes of Texas A&M and LSU. While the pickup for USC would be massive, adding to their No. 1-ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle, it could also spell victory for Dan Lanning and the Ducks. How? By potentially taking the Trojans out of the running for 4-star WR Jalen Lott, who the Ducks are recruiting heavily ahead of his July 8 commitment. Lott is rated as the No. 49 player in the nation and the No. 5 ATH in the 2026 class. The Ducks are among Lott's finalists, alongside USC, the Texas Longhorns, LSU Tigers, and Georgia Bulldogs. While USC might still try to land Lott as well, it's fair to think that the 4-star may choose to go elsewhere. Oregon currently holds a slight lead over Texas in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, with USC in third place. It will be no means be easy for the Ducks to land him, but should Feaster end up committing to the Trojans, then it may make things slightly easier. Florida State Hands Auburn Second Recruiting Loss of the Day
Florida State Hands Auburn Second Recruiting Loss of the Day originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Auburn Tigers continued to be out-recruited by the Florida State Seminoles on Monday. After Florida State flipped longtime Auburn commit Devin Carter, the Seminoles took another recruit from the Tigers. On Sunday, Auburn lost linebacker commit Shadarius Toodle after he flipped to the Georgia Bulldogs. Advertisement On3's Hayes Fawcett reported that four-star tight end Xavier Tiller picked Florida State over Auburn and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Tiller is listed at 6-foot-5, 215 pounds and is a native of Fairburn, Georgia. He attends Langston Hughes High School. Tiller also held offers from the likes of the Georgia Bulldogs, Louisville Cardinals, USC Trojans, Texas A&M Aggies, Ohio State Buckeyes, and others. Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh McLelland-Imagn Images Tiller is the No. 11 tight end in the 2026 class via the On3 Industry Rankings. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine had him tabbed to commit to Auburn, giving the Tigers a 90.9% chance to land Tiller. Advertisement However, Florida State swooped in and took Tiller away from the Tigers despite it giving them a 2.2% chance. Both Auburn and Florida State had Tiller in town for an official visit, with the Tigers seeing him on June 6. The Seminoles had the more recent visit, however, with Tiller in Tallahassee on June 13. After losing Carter, Toodle, and missing on Tiller, Auburn's 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 61 on On3 Sports. Luckily, the Tigers are still pursuing top talent from the 2026 class. Auburn was named a finalist for five-star safety Jireh Edwards. Auburn opens the 2025 season against the Baylor Bears on August 30. Michigan football predicted to land 4-star DT Titan Davis to 2026 defensive line
Michigan football has a bit of a different identity from most other schools in college football. While many try to build high-flying offenses with defenses that simply can stave off the opponent, the Wolverines are all about the trenches on both sides of the ball. On defense, the maize and blue already have an interior defensive lineman (Alister Vallejo) and two edge rushers (McHale Blade and Tariq Boney) committed, but they're looking to add more to the list. Is another coming soon? 2026 St. Louis (Mo.) DeSmet four-star defensive tackle Titan Davis officially visited Ann Arbor over the weekend. Thought to be deciding between Michigan and Alabama, it's been unclear which way Davis has been leaning. However, coming out of the visit, On3's Steve Wiltfong says that the Wolverines have all the momentum, and he predicted that Davis would wear a winged helmet. Michigan now has an 85.4% chance to land Davis via the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Davis' scouting report from 247Sports' Andrew Ivins: Ascending defensive end with a prototypical frame that could fit into an odd or even front at the next level. Began his prep career playing quarterback before flipping to the other side of the ball and finding instant success in the trenches. Flashes the ability to separate and bypass base blocks with his lateral agility. Not the most destructive defender at this stage, but can find a flat back and shoot his hands to gain extension. Solid get-off frequently gives him an advantage in passing situations. Quick to unleash a bull-rush, but can also rip his way around the corner and has the stride length to finish. Enters senior year believed to be north of 6-foot-4, 265 pounds with adequate length in the arms. Must improve pad level and learn how to bring it every single snap, but appears to be rounding into form as he nearly doubled his production as a junior for Missouri's 6A champs. Projects as a potential multi-year contributor and possible impact player for a College Football Playoff contender. Should offer plenty of alignment flex and could very well end up finding a home on the inside depending on how the body matures. Davis is listed at 6-foot-4.5, 270 pounds and is rated the No. 101 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite. It's currently not known when Davis will make a final decision. The Wolverines are also after several other defensive linemen, including edge rushers Carter Meadows, Julian Walker, Jackson Ford, and Trenton Henderson.

5-star CB Brandon Arrington sets commitment date with Oregon football as a finalist
5-star CB Brandon Arrington sets commitment date with Oregon football as a finalist On Monday morning, 5-star cornerback Brandon Arrington took to his social media and teased some big news to come. On Monday night, he delivered, announcing that he was cutting his recruitment down to two schools — the Oregon Ducks and Texas A&M Aggies — and moving his commitment date up to this Thursday, June 19. Arrington was originally set to announce his commitment on July 5, but after taking an official visit to Oregon earlier this month, he is accelerating that timeline. However, Arrington is also scheduled to take an official visit to Texas A&M this coming weekend. It seems as if he will either take that visit as the newest member of the Aggies' 2026 class or cancel that visit after committing to Oregon. Arrington stands at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, and is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 10 player in the 2026 class and the No. 1 ATH. From Spring Valley, California, Oregon has been recruiting him heavily for a long time now and is projected as one of the favorites to land him. There are currently no Crystal Ball projections for Arrington on 247Sports, but the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine has the Texas A&M Aggies as the heavy favorite to land the 5-star player, with Steve Wiltfong logging a prediction all the way back in October of 2024. In just a few days, we will find out at long last where the blue-chip player is headed.
