Emmerdale's Geoff Dignan has filmed his final soap scenes
Fans were left shocked as John, who was previously engaged to Aidan, visited him at hospital and told him how he planned to kill him.
Aidan woke from his coma to hear John, and the stress caused him to suffer a cardiac arrest and go back into a coma.
Although he didn't die, fans were left wondering if his days in the Dales were numbered.

Now, Geoff has confirmed it's the end of Aidan's story - for now.
Taking to his X account, the actor shared screenshots of his scenes from last week, along with the caption: "I had an absolute blast playing Aidan Moore in Emmerdale.
"I've met great people from the crew to the very talented cast. Thank you to my agent @StarkTalentUK."
However, Geoff teased that the character could maybe be back in the future, as he added: "Who knows what's in store 4 Aidan, after all it's Emmerdale, he's woken up once... why not one more time."
John's secrets continue to be unearthed next week, but will he get the comeuppance he deserves?

Eve and Suki at odds in EastEnders as Avani's decision leaves a family at war
Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) is left furious with wife Eve (Heather Peace) in EastEnders next week – when she supports a huge decision from Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James). As viewers know, Avani confided in best mate Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) that she thought she could be pregnant with twisted Joel Marshall's (Max Murray) baby. Her worst fears were realised when a test gave a positive result. Adamant that she wanted an abortion, Suki dropped a huge bombshell and proposed raise the child as her own.
